This announcement brings Zhang Yan and Zhang Yang who were standing on the sidelines, to support Yuan Shao putting pressure on his western front and shrinking His army, he regretted the decision he had made and regretted not listening to Zhao Yun who tried to change his mind at the last moment who knew that this could happen.

Gongsun Zan’s indirect killing of Liu Yu caused an uproar since this was the death of Imperial Clansmen since Dong Zhuo’s reign of terror, Cao Cao who held the Emperor sent an announcement condemning Gongsun Zan but didn’t do anything more than that.

Lie Fan also sent a letter denouncing Gongsun Zan’s actions but also understood that it was not under his control, since it was his subordinate action so he just requested for Gongsun Yue to be beheaded.

Gongsun Zan of course doesn’t agree with Lie Fan’s choice to behead Gongsun Yue his cousin, he will be known as Kin Killer which is worse than killing Liu Yu and he knows that Lie Fan is giving him a way out.

Gongsun Zan’s move while reckless also serves as a reminder to the rest of the Imperial Scions, Liu Yan, Liu Biao, Liu Yao, and Liu Bei realize that their status as Imperial Scions can’t protect their lives anymore.

Liu Yan and Liu Biao become more determined to just hole up in their domain, only defending their land as their domain is big enough to reduce the chance of them offending other warlords.

Liu Yao on the other hand begins to panic, since there’s a big threat looming him around which is the alliance between Lie Fan and Sun Jian as well as Sheng Xian whom he can’t squash after many years.

Liu Yao frantically looked for allies, but Liu Biao and Cao Cao both refused his offer, Liu Biao didn’t want to offend Lie Fan and Sun Jian at the same time, while Cao Cao didn’t want to face Lie Fan at this time.

Liu Yao doesn’t have any more choice but to turn to Shi Xie, who holds a large amount of land in the southern part of the Land at Jiaozhi Province, Shi Xie accepted his request to ally with him but in return, Liu Yao owed a favor which he could ask for anytime.

Liu Yao feeling that a favor is nothing compared to his survival agreed to the alliance, He immediately released the news of his alliance with Shi Xie in the hope of intimidating Lie Fan and Sun Jian.

Lie Fan and Sun Jian both just sneered when they heard about the alliance between Liu Yao and Shi Xie as everyone in the land knows that Shi Xie only cares about himself and his land, his army is weak by default, and the number of talented people serving him is less than even Liu Yao.

All of these events that are happening right now on the Land have nothing to do with Gan Ning and Jiang Qin who were leading the expedition to Taiwan, they have spent about 5 days on the sea heading south.

Lie Fan gives them a map of the entirety of China but includes the position of Taiwan and says to them that the island is around the circled area he made, so they better search there as they have more chances there.

Gan Ning: ”Ling Cao how is the condition of the soldiers? Do they still have some seasickness?”

Ling Cao: ”Some of them still have it, but thanks to the medicine stored under My Lord’s request some have turned better while the rest attended by the doctors and given a fragrant aroma in the ships to reduce their nausea.”

Jiang Qin: ”Our Lord is truly visionary, he could see that 30,000 men who never even boarded a ship could have sea sickness and requested for Master Hua Tuo and Master Zhang Zhongjin to make a medicine to counter it, he truly cares for the condition of his men.”

Li Feng: ”My Lord’s kindness for his subordinates truly touched me, he is different than that bastard Yuan Shu who only rewarded the men who pandered to him and ignored those who told the truth.”

Gan Ning: ”Hmph Yuan Shu are just a small ant committed to our lord, Li Fengito would be great that heaven gave you a chance to change ships.”

Jiang Qin: ”That right Li Feng what Gan Ning said is true, isn’t right Master Yang Hong and M- Look! Isn’t that an island?!”

Jiang Qin who was talking suddenly pointed his finger in a direction, where everyone turned their head and saw an island so big that slowly grew in size on the horizon, everyone cheered when they saw the island.

Yang Hong and Yan Jun were both excited to see the island that was in front of them, since it was true this meant that Taipei could be built, but first, they needed to secure the island and set up a safe perimeter.

The Navy ships under Jiang Qin and Gan Ning’s supervision set sail approaching the island, seeing how vast it was and how fertile it was with the trees and green grass that spanned the sand of the beach.

After several hours, they finally reached Taiwan and under Ling Cao and Li Feng’s orders the 30,000 men immediately onboard the ships and began to set up military tents, setting up a camp zone for them.

Half of them raised the tents up, while the other half set up a perimeter where they created a safe area and even cut some trees down to allow them to see better since the forest was very dense.

Yang Hong and Yan Jun on the other hand supervise the building of the Military Camp, as the supplies that were brought down by the Marines and keep the doctors, crafters, laborers, and alchemists in a safe area.

Yang Hong brought the laborers alongside him, to see the landscape of the area where they could build some wooden fences, and build a wooden fortress here as a temporary base and headquarters.

The Laborers began to build wooden fences that separated the shore from the mainland, where they were of course protected by the soldiers who guarded the perimeter, keeping an eye out for any hostile.

Everything was going smoothly on the first day, some necessary tents were raised such as the barracks, command center, separate tents for the generals and advisors, and last barracks for the special groups.

At night time, the guards who stayed up to keep the perimeter safe suddenly saw that the trees and bushes afar were moving, the wind didn’t blow heavily and it was just a light breeze that aroused his suspicion.

He called for his comrades who got the guard duty for the night, around 200 men grouped up and saw the exact same thing happening, they all raised their weapons and shields when suddenly they saw a group of people running towards them from the forest.

They were shouting while holding some type of spear in their hand, there were around 20 people and their loud shout alerted the entire camp which was woken up by the shout, the night guards immediately entered their formation preparing to receive the attack.

Ling Cao and Li Feng leave their tent holding their weapon, and head toward the north side of the camp which doesn’t have the wooden fences that were built by the laborers due to the lack of time.

The 20 attackers used their spears to attack the 200 guards, but some of their spears immediately broke when they hit the shields or armor of the guards, the guards retaliated and 6 of the attackers were slain.

The fight was an easy one for the guards when Ling Cao and Li Feng arrived at the location followed by Gan Ning, Jiang Win, Yang Hong, and Yan Jun the fight already ended when the guards managed to capture 3 people.

Yang Hong and Yan Jun requested for the prisoner to be brought before them, they wanted to see what they were dealing with while Ling Cao, Li Feng, Gan Ning, and Jiang Qin surrounded them to keep them safe.

The guards brought the 3 prisoners to them, the 3 men were shooting and speaking a language they didn’t know, it was like a bunch of words just mixed up and the shouting didn’t help them understand anything.

Yang Hong: ”Hello who are you, we came here in peace and you are the one who attacked us first, we only defend ourselves.”

Man 1: ”#%$&|π$&$÷&#&|-$&#:#-!!!!!”

Man 2: ”#%#√|÷&••×, %#&$π|ו&#×?!”

Man 3: ”#&$π|π|! #&$π|ו&|÷|&|!!”

Yan Jun: ”Do any of you understand a single word they are saying? This language barrier is so much worse than the one we have with the Xianbei and Wuhuan tribes.”

Gan Ning: ”If Master Yang Hong and Master Yan Jun don’t know, how could we know what the words these people are saying, I think this is the so-called Aborigins My Lord said who lived on this island.”

Ling Cao: ”We’ll no matter if we understand or not, I think we can assume that they were hostile and we don’t know how many of them were there, from their outfits looks like they were savages who live in tribes.”

Yang Hing: ”It’s okay, I alongside Master Yan Jun will try to decipher this language, I need some soldiers to help me subdue these three people while I and Master Yan Jun try to decipher their language.”

Li Feng volunteered to help Yang Hong and Yan Jun subdue the prisoners alongside 10 of the best soldiers to ensure their safety, Ling Cao and the others immediately agreed as Yang Honga and Yan Jun were the brains of their operation.

After this spectacle a week passed by, and the wooden fence was finally finished being built. Now the laborers are focused on building the wooden fortress, In the future, Yang Hong and Yan Jun will convert it into the harbor fortress and warehouse.

After a week of deciphering, Yang Hong and Yan Jun finally received some causes of the identity of their prisoners, they always said the word Tono, and when Yang Hong said that word, he pointed his finger toward them and the tribesmen nodded their thread aggressively.

At first without it was a name, but after doing the same thing to the other 2 prisoners it is safe to assume that it was the identity of their Tribe or clan, as the other words they managed to decipher were killed, protect, sacrifice, and gods.

Yang Hong and Yan Jun aren’t satisfied with the progress they have, but this is already a good result since deciphering a new language is very hard, especially when their counterparts are hostile.

Ling Cao and Li Feng also see some soldiers scout the forest, to see if there are any traces of the tribe around and they don’t find anything, the alchemists and doctors on the other hand are interested in the forest, if there was any new plant or herbs they can use.

Yan Jun when hearing this barred them from going to the forest, it was under Lie Fan’s order to not let them experiment with anything or go inside unknown areas themselves, as they were the ones who cured or found a cure for some type of illness or disease that the soldiers could caught in this new environment.
