Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The arrival of the Destruction in this manner was not unexpected for Chen Ming.

Because the superspace exists dependent on the normal universe, with no connection to the normal universe other than the gravity fields of massive celestial bodies.

And with the phase space mirroring the normal universe one-to-one, it naturally ”mirrored” the superspace as well.

Therefore, things in the phase space can also enter superspace and utilize the special nature of superspace to move at high speeds in the phase space compared to the normal universe.

This is the outcome of the Empire’s research on phase technology.

For the Phase Giant Beasts, which can teleport directly using their own strength, it is insignificant; they do not have the capability to access superspace.

But for the Mechanical Race, superspace in the phase space holds great significance.

Just like now.

Without sufficient understanding of phase technology, the Destruction had only one choice when it found that the Star Gate Star System was disrupted by teleportation waves and could no longer teleport.

Teleport to the nearest Star Gate Star System and reach here through the Star Gate.

With some mastery of phase technology, however,

the Destruction can teleport to the nearest reachable point near the Star Gate Star System invaded by Chen Ming, then enter superspace and do what it needs in the utterly unambushable phase space of superspace.

Originally requiring at least half an hour to arrive, the Destruction returned to the invaded Star Gate Star System by Chen Ming in just over ten minutes.

Enhancing the strength of the Mechanical Race within the star system once more.

Chen Ming knew that currently, the Mechanical Race has twelve Mother Ships.

By now, nine have been inserted into the Star Gate Star System.

With this combat power gathered, it is already enough to completely obliterate Chen Ming’s fleet.

But the problem wasn’t large; his goal had already been achieved.

Because just before the Destruction arrived, a Cruiser carrying Insect Race biological fighters made contact with the Star Gate.

Though it was killed instantly upon contact, and the Mechanical Race’s counterattack drove the Insect Race back again, its blood had already sprayed onto the Star Gate.

If Chen Ming wishes, this raid could end with achieving the primary objective.

But he doesn’t want to.

He doesn’t want to expose his true abilities so quickly, nor retreat without achieving all his objectives.

He also wants to take advantage of the Mechanical Race’s cognitive bias to create a better opportunity for achieving greater results.

Therefore, Chen Ming wants to continue laying the groundwork.

And the way to lay it, is by sending his true body here.

His real body.

Just like how the boss asked before, Chen Ming’s body is now irrelevant.

Only his consciousness is truly important.

He can completely abandon his body and create a new, more perfect one.

But rather than abandoning the body randomly, he should use it for something valuable.

Like Chen Ming thought at the beginning of the war with the Mechanical Race.

He wants to use his body to create a situation where the Mechanical Race must exhaust all efforts to act, so he should deepen the belief that only the true body can control certain things for the Mechanical Race.

Now the problem is, how does he send the body over in a reasonable manner?

Chen Ming was just pondering this when he realized he didn’t actually need to consider.

He can use any extravagant method.

The Mechanical Race doesn’t need to know what this process actually entails.

He just needs to show the Mechanical Race the result, which is Chen Ming arriving at the currently teleportation-engine-locked Star Gate Star System.

That method is simple, using Spiritual Energy to transmit the body.

When Chen Ming uses Spiritual Energy for transmission, it affects the consciousness of the transmitter.

The consciousness of the transmitter needs to be closed off for safe transmission.

For Chen Ming himself, closing consciousness is useless, as the Crimson Dimension has long been fixed on him.

Intruding through the rift and taking some power doesn’t matter much, but if he dares to delve into the Crimson Dimension directly, what awaits him is certainly terrifying.

So transmitting the body was impossible for Chen Ming previously.

But now that Chen Ming’s powers have grown to a point where consciousness can separate from the body, and the Enlightenment Nerve is merely a mark of him as a Psychic, rather than a source of power,

he can transmit the body completely detached from consciousness, or say, a normal body called his real body.

He would only be affected by previous conditions when entering the Crimson Dimension proactively or being forcibly pulled into it.

So, the remaining task is just the extravagant parts.

That’s easy.

As soon as Chen Ming had the idea,

the Insect Race blood and fragments that sprayed onto the Star Gate suddenly began to move, dividing into new flesh tissues, and quickly proliferating, producing heaps of biomass and legions.

Like mold growing on bread but hundreds of times faster, spreading out like flowing water.

The pristine Star Gate framework once upheld by White Cloud Steel suddenly developed unsightly stains.

And these stains continued to spread, infiltrating the structure of the Star Gate framework.
