Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

”So what are you going to do? Are you going to use this Phase Giant Beast, or...”

Chen Ming still recalled the times when the small Phase Giant Beast snatched ”food” for him.

Although the small Phase Giant Beast made some mistakes, it didn’t change the fact that Chen Ming indeed took the flesh that the small Phase Giant Beast seized from the Clan Leader.

So he decisively said, ”I want to save it.”

”How to save it?”

”Just like its Clan Leader did.”

Chen Ming looked back at the boss.

The boss immediately understood his meaning.

After all, the boss must have seen and comprehended the exchange between Chen Ming and the Phase Giant Beast just now.

Thus, Chen Ming’s concern was that the boss might be affected by the Crimson Power when he activated the Crimson Rift.

Even though the two of them are still in Phase Space now, it’s better to avoid unnecessary trouble if possible.

The boss took a few steps back and said, ”It’s okay, you just go ahead, I can protect myself.”

Chen Ming nodded.

He fully focused his consciousness on the robot in front of the Phase Giant Beast.

He pressed the mechanical arm onto the drooping tentacle on the Phase Giant Beast’s head.

This tentacle, besides being a tool for the Phase Giant Beast to use its Phase Power, also serves as another tool for communication.

When Chen Ming touched the tentacle, it emitted a slight tremor, and then it stopped.

Chen Ming knew its time was running out.

He didn’t waste any more time.

His consciousness was focused in the Consciousness Space, and while enveloping the Phase Giant Beast with Spiritual Power, he opened the sealed Crimson Rift.

The sealed rift is safe, allowing it to open slowly.

But when Chen Ming actively opened the rift, once again, it unleashed a terrifying suction as if it could completely pull Chen Ming inside.

While resisting this force, Chen Ming’s Spiritual Power began to be rapidly consumed, and the steel jungle on the edge of the isolated island rusted into dark red iron rust.

Just at the moment when Chen Ming attempted to directly harness power from the Crimson Dimension with his Spiritual Power.

The bluish-purple light existing in Chen Ming’s Consciousness Space suddenly covered the entire space.

It protected Chen Ming’s consciousness and also safeguarded the Consciousness Space.

It prevented Chen Ming from being overly influenced by the power of the Crimson Dimension.

Moreover, this light formed a one-way membrane over the rift, making it easier for Chen Ming to extract power, while shielding him from the negative effects of the Crimson Dimension.

Although this bluish-purple light was rapidly fading, it was already sufficient for Chen Ming to extract enough ”food” from the Crimson Dimension to satiate the Phase Giant Beast.

While Chen Ming started to interact with the Crimson Dimension again, the boss was also fully attentive, watching Chen Ming’s actions at the moment, contemplating Chen Ming’s experiences, and perceiving Chen Ming’s power.

He gradually immersed himself in his own Consciousness Space.

He appeared once again in his city.

And in his hand, the powers representing the Crimson Dimension and Phase Space, a red and a blue, were swirling.

They were weak, but they seemed capable of growing, growing to a level comparable to Chen Ming’s ability to tear open the rift.

But the boss also noticed some extremely subtle changes in his consciousness body.

The appearance of his consciousness body seemed to resemble Chen Ming’s a bit.

”How many years has it been since such a situation...”

He commented casually and extinguished the two powers in his hand completely.

His consciousness body instantly returned to its original form, and only the objectively existing Phase Space remained in his Consciousness Space.

Such a complete space had already allowed his ability to improve significantly without affecting his own foundation.

He simply needed to continue walking along the path that Chen Ming advised him to take; he didn’t need to emulate Chen Ming to progress.

Two years... or was it three years ago, Chen Ming was just a rookie who’d become a Psychic.

And now, he was someone who could keep pace with him on the same track.

The boss opened his eyes.

Seeing that Chen Ming also ended what he was doing at about the same time.

The Phase Giant Beast in front of him had a slightly bulging belly.

Clearly, it was fed by Chen Ming.

Seeing that Chen Ming seemed to still be doing something in his Consciousness Space, the boss made no move and continued to wait.

At this time, Chen Ming was relying on the last bit of power left by the Phase Space to reseal the Crimson Dimension’s rift.

A much stronger Crimson Power was now hovering in his Consciousness Space compared to before.

This power was no longer aggressive, and given some time, he would be able to fully digest it.

As for the light of the Phase Space.

Although it is currently invisible, as long as Chen Ming remains in Phase Space, the power of this bluish-purple light can slowly recover.

It can help Chen Ming resolve the troubles with the Crimson Rift and also set the timing for his next entry into the Crimson Dimension to extract power.

After the rift was completely closed.

Chen Ming finally began to move.

The boss beside him also asked at this time; ”Is it finished?”

”It’s done, it succeeded.”

Chen Ming’s robot reached out and patted the Phase Giant Beast in front of him; it had started to regain vitality, relying on the massive Crimson Power Chen Ming extracted, its injuries were rapidly healing.
