Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The remaining Insect Race cruisers quickly scattered, but still took the opportunity to focus fire, destroying colonies within the Star System.

Instantly wiping out hundreds of thousands of cruisers without other Main Ships to protect them is a dimensional reduction strike for any same-tier Main Ship.

As far as Chen Ming knows, the Empire currently doesn’t have any Mother Ship or Main Level weapons capable of such feats.

Although the Insect Race fleet lacked shields, unable to block Spiritual Energy Fluctuations, specifically countered by Destruction, and due to excessive numbers, fleet formation was overly dense to activate the colonies.

But it was enough to showcase the terror of Destruction.

However, this level isn’t sufficient for Chen Ming.

He only lost a quarter of the fleet he commanded.

He still had a total of seven fleets of the same scale.

And the moment Destruction was deployed, these seven fleets scattered across different Star Systems simultaneously executed a jump.

Jumping to the Star System of the Star Gate from which Destruction had just departed.

This time, Chen Ming didn’t plan on maneuvering too intricately with the Mechanical Race.

He aimed for one word.

Efficiency.

Millions of warships’ warp fluctuations echoed throughout the Star Gate Star System.

The residual warp traces nearly disturbed the space within the entire Star System completely.

Chen Ming suddenly realized that the movements of the Insect Race fleet unexpectedly interfered with all ships’ warp engines within the Star System.

As if this place was originally an ocean.

When the sea was calm, warships could float on it, even leveraging the ocean to leap and jump.

However, when this sea surged violently, forget about leaping, if one’s systems avoid malfunctioning, it’s considered fortunate.

Such massive afterwaves would take at least half an hour to dissipate.

In this half-hour, although the Insect Race fleet couldn’t use the Biomass Teleportation Engine to retreat.

But the Mechanical Race fleet faced the same issue, and their reinforcements couldn’t arrive through teleportation either.

The only path for them to receive support was within the Star Gate, which was Chen Ming’s target.

At this moment.

All the Insect Race battleships rushed toward the Star Gate within the Star System like mad dogs.

As Chen Ming’s Insect Race fleet reached the Star Gate Star System simultaneously.

His Black Mist Insect Race fleet, controlled by Black Mist Prosthetic, exploded into battle with the Mechanical Race’s Border Star Realm fleet.

The Black Mist Insect Race fleet was located outside the Mechanical Race Star System, having not been cleansed by Destruction earlier, who had mainly attended to the Logistics Star Realm.

So when the Black Mist Insect Race fleet gathered, its scale was almost comparable to the Insect Race fleet gathered at the Logistics Star Realm.

An Insect Nest could produce thousands of cruisers weekly, with hundreds of planets being parasitized, resulting in millions more Insect Race cruisers.

If not for the Insect Race in the logistics region using the planets’ ample resources to develop rapidly, Chen Ming would have thought that there would be more of the Black Mist Insect Race.

Having more Insect Race isn’t a disadvantage.

And to align with the persona Chen Ming initially set for the Black Mist Prosthetic.

After gathering, they continued to advance toward the Empire’s direction, with several Mechanical Race Star Systems conveniently along their path.

The Mechanical Race and Black Mist Insect Race fleet collided once again.

Last time, the Mechanical Race had three Mother Ships and a large number of supporting mid and lower-level vessels, this time they had the same.

But this time, after the Insect Race underwent significant evolution of the Insect Queen, mastering new biomass construction methods, possessing a more terrifying breeding rate and a larger fleet than before.

The Black Mist Insect Race warship could achieve far more than before.

From the perspective of combat strength, these fleets under Chen Ming’s special attention, shrouded in copious Black Mist, were much stronger than ordinary Insect Race fleets.

In the Mechanical Race border’s several Star Systems, except for the Mother Ships, all warships were nearly destroyed in one face-off.

Even though the Insect Race, through forced combat exchange losses, suffered far greater than the Mechanical Race, despite having an overall advantage in combat strength.

The combat strength of the Insect Race showed no significant decline.

On the contrary, Mechanical Race was left with only three Mother Ships struggling to maintain support.

Even if the Mother Ship’s Main-level Weapon rendered the Insect Race cruisers with practically no means of countering and defending, the Mother Ship faced a sheer number scale enemy and was somewhat powerless to support.

The suppression between warship levels seemed to have lost its meaning.

A torrent of energy and a massive consumption of primal materials, and an unending swarm of Insect Race cruisers forming a tide that couldn’t be seen at the end; even Chen Ming felt a sense of dread watching.

While the Mechanical Race wouldn’t sense fear, they understood the concept of inevitable defeat.

This current scene, apart from being witnessed by Chen Ming and the Mechanical Race.

Was evidently noticed by the Empire too.

Previously, during the deployment of Insect eggs by the Black Mist Insect Race, the entire process was constantly surveilled by the Empire’s scouting fleet.

Hence, when the Black Mist Insect Race temporarily halted its previous battle with the Mechanical Race.

The Empire had quietly dispatched fleets to deploy surveillance devices.

Chen Ming knew the locations and functions of these surveillance devices. As long as they had external communication links, they could instantly relay information back to the Empire’s domain.

So after dismantling many, he purposely left some openings for the Empire’s surveillance device deployments to ensure they could transmit Black Mist Insect Race’s information back at the earliest opportunity.
