Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chen Ming’s plan layout is quite simple.

Since the Destruction Carrier values the star systems in the nearby area so much, he will target these star systems to force the Carrier to go out and solve the issue.

Engage in a war of attrition, using the Insect Race fleet to exchange for the resources needed to activate the Mechanical Race Mother Ship.

The key is to make the Mechanical Race believe that his primary target is the Mother Ship.

But in reality, his primary target is the Star Gate itself.

The Mechanical Race Star Realm’s size is apparent, and a single jump can basically cover it thoroughly.

However, the jump is an operation that cannot be done repeatedly in a short time.

Therefore, the Star Gate has very important functions within the Mechanical Race Star Realm.

It allows the Mechanical Race’s fleet to mobilize quickly within the Star Realm, providing reinforcements to various locations.

Just like now, the Empire is already close to invading a star system with a Star Gate nearest to the Empire in the Mechanical Race.

The number of enemies confronted is increasing, making the continued occupation of the star system increasingly difficult.

Of course, no challenge exceeds the military strength of the Empire itself, but the role of the Star Gate is still very evident.

For Chen Ming, although this thing may not prevent the Mechanical Race from seeking trouble with him, at least it can prevent many Mechanical Race members who can only rely on the Star Gate to find trouble with him.

Once the Mechanical Race loses the Star Gate, Chen Ming will have plenty of space to maneuver against them.

It’s just that Chen Ming has absolutely no understanding of Star Gate technology.

Although it’s a research project related to the Ship Research Institute, learning this technology requires too many prerequisite skills.

He can only seize it, and then consider how to use it after taking it.

And there are definitely heavy defenses at the Star Gate.

Not only the Destruction Carrier but there will certainly be other Mother Ships stationed there as well.

Multiple Mother Ships acting together give Chen Ming’s numerous Cruisers no chance of succeeding.

Hence, Chen Ming is preparing a ’lure the tiger away from the mountain’ plan.

With the current strength of the Insect Race, it is enough for Chen Ming to take the Star Gate itself after sustaining significant losses.

But that’s not enough.

Chen Ming’s goal isn’t just the Star Gate but also the Destruction Carrier.

After luring the tiger away from its den, Chen Ming wants to bring the tiger home too.

Thus, he will also use himself as bait, setting up a trap that might fool the Mechanical Race into taking it.

The plan had already been thought of beforehand.

The rest is just its execution.

Chen Ming did not rush to start.

Instead, after resting for a night, when his Spiritual Power recovered to its peak, he officially began this operation.

Starting from the Black Mist Prosthetic.

The amount of Chen Ming’s Spiritual Power has shown a noticeable increase after multiple contacts with the Crimson Dimension.

Just like he told his boss last time.

His Spiritual Power can already cover the star system directly, but his abilities are still confined within a certain framework.

This affects his control over the ship but does not affect his control over non-ship items.

Nor does it affect the derivative effects of his Spiritual Energy.

So, just as Chen Ming made his decision, the Black Mist emerged on hundreds of parasitic planets within dozens of star systems on the Mechanical Race border area all at the same moment.

The Black Mist enveloped the Insect Race fleet and once again gathered together.

Chen Ming did not deliberately hide this movement.

On the contrary, he even used intelligence from the frontline to purposely have some Black Mist Insect Race appear before the Imperial Fleet scouting the Mechanical Race Star Realm’s edge.

Afraid that the Empire wouldn’t notice the Black Mist Prosthetic’s movement.

Doing this naturally also drew the attention of the Mechanical Race.

They have long known that this day would come eventually.

Therefore, when the Black Mist Insect Race began to gather, the Mechanical Race had already dispatched three Mother Ships to the star realm where the Black Mist Insect Race was assembling.

Still the previous three, forming a group to avoid being singled out and destroyed by Cruiser fleets.

Just as the Mechanical Race prepared to engage the Black Mist Insect Race fleet.

The Insect Race, which Chen Ming left inside the Mechanical Race Star Realm, near the logistics area of the internal star systems, also began to take action.
