Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Upon entering the mid stage, a Mind Breaking Entity only needs to invoke a single kind of Spiritual Energy Fluctuation to control all Spiritual Energy.

He was now at exactly that stage.

He had no idea what would happen if this continued.

Chen Ming felt it wouldn’t be a bad thing.

If he were an ordinary person, an ordinary Psychic, then becoming a Mind Breaking Entity would indeed be the worst possible outcome.

But if he was originally someone who had crossed over from another dimension, fundamentally no different from Dimension Infection, and at the same time was a Mind Breaking Entity...

Then advancing to a late-stage Mind Breaking Entity wouldn’t be a problem at all.

The Boss beside him watched Chen Ming crush his own consciousness body and then Repair it back into human form again, and fell silent.

At least the result looked fine; it probably wouldn’t cause any trouble...

”I remember a long time ago, back when you were still at the Pirate Space Station.”

”One night you came to see me. You were someone who basically never drank, but that night you really drank a lot.”

”You reeked of alcohol, but your consciousness wasn’t disturbed in the slightest.”

”Even back then I already thought it was strange. I just didn’t say anything, not until later when I finally confirmed you had the ability to Manufacture avatars.”

”After that, I learned that An Wuping was also one of your avatars. The power of the Insect Race almost made me think you’d been possessed by something.”

”But in the end you gave me pure surprise, shock, delight, and fright all rolled into one.”

”And then your avatars just kept getting weirder and weirder.”

”I can no longer tell what the actual situation with your consciousness body is anymore.”

”Starting today, I probably really don’t have much left I can teach you.”

”I think you still do.” Chen Ming said. ”And I have always been me. I am Chen Ming.”

”Mm. Speaking of which, you don’t actually need your own body anymore now, do you?”

”Right.”

For the current Chen Ming, the consciousness body was his true essence.

Whether it was the main body, a fake body, or a robot casually pinched into shape, or even any random Insect Race body—so long as Chen Ming’s consciousness moved over, whichever one it was, that would be him.

Of course, Chen Ming’s essence was still human. He was also someone fairly sentimental; he was still willing to keep controlling his primary body.

Even if one day it got damaged, he would find a way to pinch out a new one exactly the same.

Though he might make some subtle modifications.

For example, implant a few Insect Race organs, add some Mechanical Race structures, and while he was at it tweak the original genes, reaching the most perfect degree under the concept of ”human.”

His Spiritual Energy existed to do things like that.

Hearing Chen Ming’s answer, the Boss said, ”I once heard that when a Psychic’s abilities reach a certain level, the Enlightenment Nerve becomes just a symbol.”

”I used to think you had to reach the legendary Level 7 Psychic to achieve that. Looks like the requirements aren’t what I imagined.”

The Boss sighed a little.

”But why do I feel like the intensity of your Spiritual Energy Fluctuation hasn’t changed for a long time?”

”Did you run into some problem with your Spiritual Energy? Or did you finally hit your limit?”

”Not a limit, a bottleneck.”

Chen Ming explained, ”The amount of my Spiritual Power has long exceeded normal ranges. It’s already enough that, once released, it could cover a typical-sized Star System, but I just can’t break through this bottleneck.”

”I can feel it’s right there, but I can’t find a way to touch it. Even though I’ve obtained a lot of power through the Crimson Dimension, the Insect Race, and the Mechanical Race, I still can’t break through.”

”I feel like I still need a trigger, so for now I can only develop horizontally, see if I can use this time being stuck at the bottleneck to study more applications of Spiritual Energy in other directions.”

The Boss pondered for a moment and said, ”Then let’s leave it at that for now. Matters of the consciousness body and Spiritual Energy can wait for later.”

”Right now, let’s talk to your big friend first.”

He snapped his fingers.

The Shuttle Boat that had already flown out to the outskirts of the city entered Phase Space.

The Phase Space belonging to this city in the Boss’s Consciousness Space.

Previously, there probably hadn’t been any Phase Space either.

It wasn’t until the Phase Giant Beast arrived that this Phase Space appeared.

And the consciousness body of the Phase Giant Beast was currently roaming through the sky above the outskirts of the city in the Boss’s Consciousness Space.
