Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 475: Chapter 162 Final Preparations Before Departure_4

Moreover, the value should only be more expensive than industrial equipment.

However, fortunately, Chen Ming doesn’t need to provide a bunch of the same equipment like providing industrial equipment for the colony.

He only needs to buy one set of these research devices.

The money needed is definitely not of the same level as buying industrial equipment.

Besides the equipment for research,

there is one more thing Chen Ming needs to prepare.

A Starmap.

Although the Empire has not continued expanding outward in the direction of the Gallo Star Realm, various large-scale probes have always been recording the star systems outside the boundary.

Chen Ming would do well to grasp the information of these star systems in advance and investigate the colonizable colonies based on the density and types of star systems within the Star Realm.

Chen Ming wants to find a good star system to build a colony.

Similar to the Star Realm Capital, with several high-value planets existing, and all kinds of resources basically gathering together, as long as development takes place, it will be self-sufficient without needing to continue contacting the Human Empire’s star systems.

This will certainly be very difficult, and it will require a lot of time to explore.

Therefore, a starmap is very necessary as it can save a lot of exploration time by discarding some star systems where suitable planets are unlikely to exist.

Overall, the starmap is quite easy to acquire.

But if Chen Ming wants some starmaps that are farther from the Empire’s borders and more detailed, then he must find a way to pull some strings.

Chen Ming still has a day or two to use, which should be enough to get things done before the president contacts him again for the second time.

Though a lot of things have been handled, it’s evident that Chen Ming still has to stay busy.

A few hours later.

On the same night after Chen Ming talked with people he knew again,

at Space Station’s Pirate Space Station’s No. 1 space arm, a regular Destroyer Level cargo ship arrived here.

Although the management of Pirate Space Station is very lax, cargo transport of this destroyer level still has to go through Management Bureau inspection.

Otherwise, if some lethal items were randomly transported aboard, could the space station still operate?

So when this ship berthed,

someone from the Management Bureau immediately walked out from their office near the maintenance factory.

A small team intended to go over to confirm it.

But when they had reached halfway, the leading team’s walkie-talkie suddenly rang.

He immediately connected and said, ”Director.”

The director said to him calmly, ”Don’t worry about the ship that just docked, no inspection needed.”

”Huh? But isn’t the rule...”

”Rules are dead, people are alive. Rules stand there unmoving, but people can move, can circumvent them.”

The captain exchanged looks with the team members beside him and said, ”Understood.”

He gave up on continuing the inspection of that ship.

He really had no need to lose his job over a ship or some strange competition onboard.

However, when the captain returned to the office, he still left a file in the computer and also transferred it to the database of vessels requiring inspection upon entering port.

What he didn’t know was that this archived file was quietly and silently deleted.

The next day soon came.

Chen Ming’s own fleet had already been dispatched to other parts of the star realm to look for signs of pirates.

The research equipment he needed had already been partially purchased here at the space station.

Of course, it’s contraband, the price was quite favorable, and was also installed at the Supreme Point.

A batch of materials specially sent to Pirate Space Station by the boss almost filled the warehouse at Supreme Point.

All preparations before departure have been completed.

However, today Chen Ming was still running around everywhere.

Mainly because the fifty billion provided by the company was directly credited with remarkable efficiency.

And over at Old Wu’s side, he had basically confirmed the prices of the industrial facilities Chen Ming wanted to order.

And also helped Chen Ming determine the prices of the research equipment.

One can only say that money truly doesn’t last long.

After getting all these things done, there would probably be about four or five billion left.

However, this money Chen Ming wasn’t quite able to use to supplement his own fleet.

After all, there might be a shortage of materials in the colony later, and this money must be used for emergencies.

Time flew by, and another day quickly passed.

At noon this day.

The boss took the initiative to contact.

The president was ready to talk with Chen Ming again.
