Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 430: Chapter 151: Fall_3

They quickly identified the origins of the two spaceships and immediately sent out a notification, shutting down all channels connected to this facility.

They prepared to implement physical control over the facility.

However, it was already too late to take control.

The two spaceships, controlled by the electronic tech team, had already entered position, quietly observed by the New Star Level vessel floating in the zero-gravity environment.

Each approached the position of the Gravity Magnet Repeller.

Without any flashy maneuvers, the two ships simply crashed straight into it.

Amid two fireballs erupting inside the positions, the Gravity Magnet Repeller was successfully destroyed.

The magnetic and gravitational forces were distorted by the effects of the exploding Gravity Magnet Repeller at the last moment.

Starting from the side destroyed by the special operations team, each Gravity Magnet Repeller forming the anti-gravity magnetic field began to fail one by one, like bulbs along a wire.

The area affected by the distorted magnetic and gravitational forces continued to expand, directly twisting the surrounding high-strength walls of the positions into a tangled mess of metal.

As the influence of the Gravity Magnet Repeller expanded.

The New Star Level, which had remained intact within the position, finally lost its stable weightless environment.

The left front corner was the first to be affected by gravity.

It tilted.

There were still numerous ships doing emergency initiation work beside the New Star Level, with many auxiliary stabilization devices and logistics devices transporting goods still installed on the hull.

All these were completely destroyed in the sudden tilt of the New Star Level.

Countless scrapped metal mixed with electrical sparks flashed inside the position, causing enormous losses in an instant.

But that was not the key issue.

The entire New Star Level was about to fall inside the massive shipyard.

If the New Star Level were destroyed, the losses of others would only compare to a fraction of the New Star Level’s.

At this moment, the electronic tech team member observing the situation through the remaining two inactive spaceships wore an excited expression.

But right then, the engines of the New Star Level suddenly roared to life.

Vivid flames burst from the exhaust vents at the bottom of the ship at maximum output.

While burning the massive shipyard, it forcefully held up the falling New Star.

Though the New Star overall didn’t directly crash into the massive shipyard during its fall.

Due to the sequence of destruction of the Gravity Magnet Repeller, the corner that had tilted early couldn’t be lifted by the engines in time.

It smashed onto the ground of the massive shipyard.

The vacuum environment was soundless.

The violent tremors from the damage to the massive shipyard were visible to the naked eye.

Starting from the corner of the New Star Level that hit the shipyard, several visible ring-shaped cracks spread out.

A substantial portion of the shipyard’s structural framework was damaged, and countless metal fragments shattered and scattered from the impact, only to be brought down again by the anti-gravity devices after a few seconds, further expanding the range of destruction.

This was a fatal blow to the massive shipyard structure.

The New Star Level also suffered severe mechanical damage according to the basic theory of ”force is mutual”.

A crack that penetrated the ship appeared at the root of its left front section.

From bottom to top, from the outermost armor to the core, the entire structure suffered damage equal to that of the massive shipyard in the collision.

But in terms of results, the New Star Level was not destroyed.

And as the effects of gravity distortion caused by the last impacts of the Gravity Magnet Repeller completely vanished.

The New Star Level finally landed steadily on the bottom of the massive shipyard affected by gravity.

At some unknown point, alarms began sounding inside the massive shipyard.

Dusk had earlier already confirmed the origins of those two engineering ships that had turned into fragments, swiftly pinpointing the special operations team’s location in the facility and locked it down.

However, none of their individuals dared to approach, only some remotely controlled robots were sent in, prepared to breach the facility.

The reason was simple, they still hadn’t found a trace of the special operations team.

They still believed all this was Chen Ming’s handiwork.

They wanted to determine which individual was controlled by Chen Ming.

The electronic tech team member remaining here was unaware of this fact.

He only knew that the remaining engineering ships no longer had any significance, and it seemed he was too late to retreat.

He gripped the gun in his hand, considering whether to throw it down or to gamble with his life.

At this moment.

Chen Ming suddenly sighed.

He had the Gamma Level Dusk entity present here connect to that data link.

Exerted influence over the entire module area, directly controlling the factory area and transport area doors with the highest authority.

This wasn’t Chen Ming suddenly becoming kind.

It was just that a few minutes ago, before the special operations team acted, he had already managed, through the modules he controlled, to successfully seize control of all other potentially blueprint-holding module areas.

But when he reached this point, he realized a part of the New Star Level’s blueprints was still missing.

Chen Ming did a brief analysis based on existing blueprints.

The missing part was the blueprint for the main control system of the New Star Level, which also included the system blueprint for connecting to the Alpha Level Dusk entity.

This remaining crucial puzzle piece should only be found in the core area.

Chen Ming’s mind had been fogged by fatigue earlier, and he hadn’t realized this detail.
