Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 424: Chapter 150 Exhaustion

Half an hour has passed.

As Bai Quan released the last wave of assault boats.

Chen Ming once again occupied two data nodes through the damaged robots.

He obtained the armor blueprint of the central part of the hull and the structural blueprint of the left front part of the hull.

Coupled with the previous engine blueprint, left front hull armor, left rear hull structure, and central hull structural blueprint, a total of six.

However, after Bai Quan’s assault boats were exhausted.

He already made the offensive return to the front line.

Handling combat damage, tightening formations, and ready to retreat at any moment.

And Dusk also noticed Bai Quan’s actions, after initial vigilance, had already discovered Bai Quan’s true intentions.

So they began to inversely compress the Fourteenth Legion Fleet’s operational space, as if preparing to counterattack.

From now on, Chen Ming could no longer use the method of using robots for maintenance to control more data nodes.

However, his methods were not completely restricted yet.

After all, the mega shipyard is an integrated whole, with cooperation between modules, but independently managed on the data level for ease of management.

Therefore, the different modules within the shipyard can interact normally.

Chen Ming could use this to spread his Spiritual Energy outwards.

He only needed to install a Gamma Core under his control into a piece of machinery that needed to be transported between different modules.

For example, Dusk itself has its entities responsible for maintenance work in all non-public internal areas.

The mega shipyard, on an overall level, could be described as a large industrial facility, and an industrial facility that undergoes high-intensity work every day.

All equipment within the facility requires frequent maintenance and repair.

There are specific Dusk entities responsible for maintenance work in the externally open modules.

Then internally, naturally, there are also specific entities.

Thus, since Chen Ming had successfully gained control over the Dusks within the shipyard, he could find ways to control these Dusk entities.

It is very likely they are unprepared, or possibly unable to defend against it at all.

Because they must inspect equipment, which means they have to interact with all kinds of lines within the equipment.

And a data cable connecting to a Dusk entity controlled by Chen Ming is no different from a petri dish for a virus to the Dusks.

The inspectors must actively approach the petri dish because, after all, it is their job.

Just now.

Chen Ming had already reported the need for a specialized maintenance entity to inspect the situation from the node he initially controlled with robots.

It shouldn’t take long before they arrive.

Chen Ming hadn’t reported such issues in the other nodes for now.

To avoid similar incidents appearing simultaneously in the database of this mega shipyard, which might reveal the problem’s location.

Under normal circumstances, if it is an issue within a single module, then under the premise that Chen Ming controls the module core’s data node, concealment would be the simplest thing.

But now, to have the maintenance entity come, he must report the incident’s cause and effect.

This will definitely be recorded elsewhere.

So to be cautious, Chen Ming made some disguises.

After all, each module area has its maintenance entities, just that their efficiency and scale aren’t as great as professional ones.

Any Dusk entity managing a module cannot report for every slight line malfunction; generally speaking, any small problem should be resolved on its own if it can be.

It’s normal not to report and just repair it yourself.

So even if Chen Ming’s hidden actions were discovered, he’d have a plausible excuse to explain.

So next, he only needed to wait for these maintenance Dusk entities to deliver themselves.

Taking advantage of this time, Chen Ming studied the map of the mega shipyard closely.

The total number of module divisions in the mega shipyard was confirmed to be over five hundred, all controlled by at least Beta Level cores.

But after excluding module divisions without suitable factories and machining plants, which couldn’t undertake New Star Level manufacturing tasks, such as the external defense gun platform where Chen Ming’s robots had been previously stationed.

And excluding the most core, unfinished manufacturing stage modules now docking the Main Ship positions of New Star Level.

There were thirty-two remaining.

Based on the existing blueprints, Chen Ming could approximately estimate the number of blueprints the dispersed New Star Level contains.

It should be around twenty or just shy of it.

And Chen Ming had already influenced six module divisions, nearly a fifth of the modules where there might be blueprints had been controlled by him.

The six blueprints he acquired also came close to a third of the final blueprint quantity.

Which means, as long as his luck was good enough next, he would certainly be able to get all the blueprints.

Chen Ming felt slightly excited but soon calmed down.

No preemptive champagne-popping behavior is justifiable before the task is complete.

A few minutes later.

Just as planned by Chen Ming.

Near the first data node he controlled with robots.

Through the freight passages extending throughout the mega shipyard, an engineering transport vehicle equipped with several engineering robots arrived.

The interior of this vehicle must have a Dusk core installed, capable of playing a crucial role in Chen Ming’s plan later.
