Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 429: Chapter 151 Fall_2

The engineering ship after long hours of work must go through inspection, the ships that had accidents during the engineering need repairs, and those damaged in battles outside also need maintenance.

Therefore, the dock is never lacking ships that need repairs.

And the Dusk cores in these ships undergoing repairs will most certainly be directly transferred to other ships.

These ships left at the dock likely won’t have cores installed, making them possible to control.

This is their chance.

It’s also their best shot at sabotaging the Gravity Magnet Repeller with highest efficiency.

If the Special Operations Squad chooses to personally destroy the Gravity Magnet Repeller using weapons, that would be far more challenging than using a ship.

The squad quickly scanned and acquired the results they needed.

Dismantling the equipment again, they gathered and found a route leading to the ship maintenance area in the factory.

The ship maintenance area was similar to the equipment maintenance area they came from.

Only repair equipment and ships waiting for repairs, no Dusk.

And during the whole process from the time the squad entered the factory district until now.

The electronic technician, who had been glancing around, finally saw what he had been looking for—the distribution box of the repair dock.

There must be data lines inside.

He immediately signaled to his teammates, then said to Chen Ming, ”Mr. Chen, we found the data lines here.”

Chen Ming hesitated slightly and said, ”Hmm... not for now.”

His Spiritual Power was already exhausted at this point, and he was forcibly sustaining with willpower, even depleting his maximum Spiritual Power just to maintain consciousness.

There was no way to waste any extra Spiritual Power on a module located in a factory without Manufacturing Main Ship capabilities.

Moreover, his actions had also reached the final stage with those of the Special Operations Squad; only a part remained for the collection of the New Star Level blueprint from the outside modules.

It’s impossible to have further complications at this juncture.

However, holding his head, Chen Ming thought again.

After all, it’s the core area module his abilities had always been unable to influence.

Even though the internal core modules of Dusk likely have separations, if he could control one, it might be useful in the future.

So he eventually said, ”You guys leave the core here first, I will make a decision by myself later.”

The squad leader wasted no words and cooperated with the electronic technician to open the distribution box, leaving the core inside.

Then they turned their focus towards those ships about to finish repairs.

Their earlier tasks could be said to be unprecedentedly smooth, the current one was no exception.

With the internal data code provided by Chen Ming, hacking into these ships without Dusk individuals controlling them was a breeze.

To ensure the subsequent operation, they directly hacked over ten ships.

It’s not that they didn’t want to continue hacking, but there were only that many ships that could be repaired in a short time.

All the squad members had experience piloting small ships, capable of controlling Dusk’s ships.

After quickly debugging the ships and adapting to the control methods.

They only needed to wait for the last step of the ship’s maintenance procedure, sent to the finished goods transport area outside, with cores installed, and delivered to different modules.

But at this time, the electronic technician suddenly frowned and said, ”There’s a bit of a problem.”

”We can only use signals to remotely control Dusk’s ships; if the distance becomes slightly too far, the connection might be directly cut off. Someone needs to stay here to control the ships.”

When the expressions of the other team members slightly changed, his expression suddenly looked a bit relieved and he proactively said, ”I’ll stay, no one else can single-handedly control two ships.”

”I have the greatest chance to sabotage the Gravity Magnet Repeller here.”

The team members glanced at each other for a few seconds, then the team leader first spoke, ”Okay, it’s up to you.”

Their expressions were extremely calm, and there were no redundant words.

They retreated to the junction of the workspace and warehouse area in advance, ready to await the result here.

If the electronic technician failed, they would still have time to return and attempt a second wave.

Alternatively, if the Gravity Magnet Repeller was actively turned off by Dusk as Chen Ming mentioned before, and the New Star Level wasn’t destroyed.

They could immediately proceed through the logistics channel to the area where the anti-gravity device is located, seeking other opportunities.

Just then, four repair-completed ships were sent from the factory area to the transport area outside.

Parked at the very edge of a pile of other ships waiting for transport, looking inconspicuous.

The electronic technician took a deep breath.

Activated the engines of two engineering ships without Dusk cores installed.

Immediately launched, flying towards the only area within the giant dock without gravity.

The Dusk present initially didn’t even notice the situation of these two engineering ships, thinking they were regular ship logistics transports.

Until the Dusk individual controlling this core area found the ship models entering logistics didn’t match the two ships that just took off, and the Dusk individuals supposed to be installed hadn’t been mounted yet.

Only then did the Dusk here realize something was wrong.

And the Dusk controlling this module immediately assumed it was Chen Ming’s action, becoming highly vigilant.
