Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 426: Chapter 150 Exhaustion_3

However, after considering it for a moment, Chen Ming decided to forget it.

Because now whenever he thinks, his head aches, constantly reminding him of the exhaustion of his Spiritual Power, and he might collapse at any moment.

If he hadn’t just escaped from Dusk, or had already rested well once, he might indeed give it a try.

But now, although controlling different modules is mainly Dusk’s task, the consumption of Spiritual Power for Chen Ming is still quite substantial.

Just in case, he assigned the Dusk individual to immediately head to those modules where factories are present and adjacent to the core shipyard.

As for the others, he followed the normal circumstances and did not actively control them.

After all, only these places he selected have the greatest possibility of possessing the blueprint.

As long as these places proceed according to the normal process, none can escape his control, and the blueprint will eventually fall into his hands.

However, when Chen Ming was browsing through the database, he discovered some issues, some issues he had just thought of during the planning stage.

According to the records in the Maintenance factory’s database, inside the giant shipyard, there are some module sectors that don’t need maintenance, yet might contain blueprints.

Chen Ming surely cannot avoid these places if he wants to acquire the blueprint.

Fortunately, he had already thought of a solution, so at least he doesn’t have to endure the headache while thinking now.

That dizzy, unfocused feeling where any specific thought would lead to pain, Chen Ming definitely doesn’t want to go through that again.

To relieve the pressure of thinking and to confirm the feasibility of his ideas, Chen Ming immediately started experimenting.

First, he identified his target.

Located at another module relatively close to the Maintenance factory module sector, separated by three modules.

Moreover, further along the route from the Maintenance factory to this module, there is indeed a module sector that has applied for maintenance, providing a legitimate reason for this trip.

Even though Chen Ming has already controlled the Maintenance factory and can personally control and modify all the data.

Ensuring the rationality of the program is still preferable if possible.

Chen Ming has basically mastered the map of the entire giant shipyard.

Thus, he smoothly located a target module where the internal wiring is very close to the wall.

When the engineering transport vehicle carrying the industrial robots passed by, it stopped directly.

Several industrial robots immediately jumped off the vehicle and without hesitation rushed to the wall, pulling out tools to start dismantling the area where the data line was hidden.

This was Chen Ming’s plan. What he needed to do was directly forcibly connect to the data line there.

Chen Ming wasn’t acting on impulse. Instead, he made this decision after serious consideration.

He has already controlled several data nodes of Dusk and is clear about Dusk’s regulatory measures on module sector management.

All information located within modules would gather at data nodes first, managed and analyzed by Beta Dusk at the nodes.

Unless something dangerous occurred, these aggregated data wouldn’t be immediately reported.

For instance, the tearing down of walls by Maintenance units isn’t considered dangerous.

Thus, this allowed him the opportunity to proceed with this action.

However, the local Beta Dusk reacted very quickly.

It immediately noticed the passing engineering transport vehicle and its actions.

But just like the regulations Jiang knew about Dusk, its first reaction wasn’t to report an insider threat.

Instead, it sent a message through the module’s internal network to the Maintenance unit, asking what the Maintenance unit under Chen Ming’s control was doing.

At the same time, it arranged for a Maintenance robot to come over and check the situation.

After all, the Maintenance unit’s task is maintenance, tearing down walls is also a relatively common situation, and every Beta Dusk responsible for module management is definitely aware of this as well.

So when the Maintenance unit tears down the walls of its own home, the first thought of these Dusks isn’t that this construction team intends to harm them, but whether there’s something wrong with their walls.

This is the reason for Chen Ming’s confidence in his actions.

Meanwhile, in response to the inquiry from the local Beta Dusk, Chen Ming had already prepared an excuse in advance.

He had the Maintenance unit send over a file with a maintenance request received by the Maintenance factory.

Of course, this was forged, but very well-forged.

At least the party involved... no, the involved Dusk couldn’t see any issues.

Even though it could confirm that it hadn’t sent such a file, the document appeared very normal indeed.

So now it was instead repeatedly confirming with the Maintenance unit, trying to contact the Maintenance factory to verify whether there was any error in the file.

Yet during this process, the robots controlled by the Maintenance unit that were dismantling the wall didn’t stop.

Soon, they found the data line inside the wall.

For Dusk, once connected with Chen Ming there is only one outcome, being controlled by him.

As long as it is close enough, there would be no chance of resistance.

Another giant shipyard module sector and the Beta Dusk within the module fell under Chen Ming’s control.
