Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 414: Chapter 147 Blueprint_3

The team has now entered the warehouse.

After confirming the warehouse’s safety, two team members quickly started installing a device they brought with them.

It’s a terrain detection device that has a strong effect but only works at a close range, activated only after entering the dock’s interior.

Although the team has part of the gigantic dock’s map provided by Chen Ming.

But Dusk, controlled by Chen Ming, is just a regular Gamma Level Dusk responsible for cargo work, always confined to the nearby area; after the team arrived at the warehouse, its intelligence was exhausted.

They still need to use various methods to analyze the differences between the team’s current situation and the blueprints.

Through analysis of the deeper parts of the gigantic dock, they understand the subtle transformation positions Dusk made during the manufacturing of the dock.

To formulate the next step-specific execution plan.

Taking advantage of this time, Chen Ming said to the captain guarding the warehouse entrance: ”Go to the wall behind you.”

Although puzzled, the captain followed Chen Ming’s order.

He waved his hand to signal another team member to replace him at the guard position.

Then he approached the wall Chen Ming mentioned.

The metal wall suddenly opened, revealing a narrow space filled with dense circuits.

At the center of this space is an iron-red Gamma Core.

Originally, the Gamma Dusk controlled by Chen Ming was only responsible for equipment work in the cargo area.

The reason it could provide Chen Ming with maps that penetrate a segment into the gigantic dock lay here.

This is the location where the core is installed.

The core automatically popped out, and beside it, a data cable appeared after metal liquid flowed past, which could connect to the Gamma Core.

”You know how to use it.”

”Yes.”

The captain reached out, secured the core, and handed it to the electronics technician.

Chen Ming remained silent since he was just providing assistance, and the specific process of the mission objective was irrelevant to him.

Soon, the two team members busy installing equipment indicated that the installation was complete and began scanning the surrounding environment in real-time.

The scan almost instantly yielded results.

A three-dimensional imaging map projection with a fairly complete structure appeared above the device.

Chen Ming, who was also not too familiar with the internal environment, took a closer look and found it possible to divide the gigantic dock into three areas.

The outermost is the cargo area and the protective equipment area.

The middle area houses the transfer zone and various equipment maintaining the gigantic dock.

And the innermost, is the actual dock and shipyard area, though there is no detailed imaging available for reference here.

The captain had similar thoughts to Chen Ming, and he gestured on the map projection, telling the other members, ”Our mission this time requires us to pass through these three areas to reach the innermost layer of the gigantic dock.”

”The most dangerous outer area is already behind us; we are now at the outer edge of the middle area.”

”Next, we just need to follow the logistics transport to the goods distribution center of the transfer zone, and we can continue inward.”

After being thoroughly checked from the outer cargo area, the goods sent to the distribution center undergo more detailed sorting, then are allocated to different facilities in the middle area.

That includes areas requiring actual material replenishment such as the power district.

The final target of the team, however, remains in the most central area where the gigantic dock’s shipyard is located.

The captain pointed at the map projection, saying: ”The Gravity Magnet Repeller is there.”

A team member gripped his gun and said: ”The security there will definitely be stricter than outside.”

”Exactly, we are only five people; we can’t simply charge in, so we can’t directly follow the logistics channel; we must choose another path.”

The captain suddenly spoke respectfully: ”Mr. Chen.”

”What is it?”

”Just need to connect this Dusk core to the place with a data cable, is it?”

”Correct.”

The captain respectfully replied again: ”I understand.”

He pointed his finger at the map projection, indicating a position and said: ”Here, there are many internal servers installed, likely a server room.”

”Next, we’ll head there.”

There’s no time for the team members to waste; having decided on their next course, they swiftly dismantled the equipment and left the small warehouse.

They set off again following the logistics channel.

Relying on the hacker skills of the electronics technician, they hacked the surveillance they passed along the way.

Though the outside was at war, the interior, upon actual entrance, made the team feel somewhat relaxed.

However, they dared not relax even a bit, especially being inside Dusk’s domain.

No matter how fearless, completing the mission alive is undoubtedly better than dying.

They had just taken a few steps towards their destination.

The electronic technician suddenly showed a hesitant expression, opened his mouth, unsure whether to speak.

After hesitating briefly, he finally said: ”Wait a moment.”

The captain immediately turned and asked, ”What’s wrong?”

”There’s something inside the wall beside us.”

The team members immediately got ready, pointing their guns at the wall.

The electronic technician quickly explained: ”No no, it’s not Dusk, it’s some circuits, not electric wires.”
