Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Ancient townAfter researching the Little Velociraptor’s abilities, Lin Feng went to the chat room to check if anyone had completed his bounty.

However, he just happened to see the message Qin An had sent.

Lin Feng breathed a sigh of relief upon learning that Qin An was currently on Blue Star.

However, Blue Star wasn’t entirely safe, so Lin Feng ultimately gave Qin An Old Mike’s phone number.

Lin Feng: [This person is Mike Di Santa, you can just call him Old Mike. If there’s anything you can’t handle, try asking him for help. Oh, and if you need weapons, he should be able to assist with that too.]

Qin An: [Don’t worry, don’t forget my past identity, buddy. I’ve already started reconnecting with my old comrades. Even though Blue Star is a bit dangerous now, it can’t harm me.]

Lin Feng: [Understood, take care.]

......

At this moment, Qin An had already arrived at the airport. He was preparing to travel abroad to regain control of his mercenary group.

Given the current danger level on Blue Star, having his own force would undoubtedly be excellent.

At the very least, those creatures called Asian Humanoids wouldn’t threaten him. If he encountered a supernatural event, then it would truly be up to fate.

Asian Humanoids is the collective term used by governments worldwide for creatures like werewolves, orcs, catgirls, and kobolds.

Blue Star had undergone significant changes during this period, with almost all countries scrambling to establish specialized research teams to study Asian Humanoids.

In the Elevator, after Lin Feng closed his chat with Qin An, he checked the bounty he had posted. So far, no one had submitted ice crystal stone in Exchange for gold coins.

It made sense; most people who could obtain ice crystal stone currently knew its purpose, so they generally wouldn’t trade it. Only low-level Seekers who accidentally acquired ice crystal stone would be tempted to trade it.

”Squeak, squeak, biped, where’s that thing Ben Shu told you to buy?”

”What’s wrong?”

Lin Feng asked, taking out the pile of junk.

”Hehe, Ben Shu’s new clothes!”

Lin Feng: ? ? ? ? ?

Lin Feng was dumbfounded watching Huangdou put on the invisibility veil.

So... you bought this for yourself, huh?

”Oh, and don’t sell this whetstone. Ben Shu uses it to sharpen his claws. That broken wood always gets stuck.”

”Damn, so you bought all of it for yourself?”

”Squeak, squeak...”

The Treasure-Seeking Rat quickly climbed into Lin Feng’s hand and winked at him.

Lin Feng was utterly speechless. Forget it, forget it, whatever. At least this guy did find some useful things.

For example, the Water-Repelling Pearl and the Chiyang Blade Skill. The Water-Repelling Pearl would definitely fetch a good price at the Exchange, but Lin Feng didn’t plan to sell it. Who knew when he might need it?

”Sigh, you fellow, never mind. I’ll go study the Chiyang Blade Skill.”

Lin Feng took out the secret manual and scanned it with a scanner gun.

[Chiyang Blade Skill (hand-copied), from a low-level martial world.

Requirements to learn the Blade Skill: Intelligence greater than 10, Constitution greater than 50.

After learning this Blade Skill, one can imbue their Yang energy into their weapon to slay ghosts.]

”So it’s a hand-copied version, no wonder the little figures on it are so crooked. But my attributes already meet the requirements, so why can’t I quite understand this secret manual?”

Lin Feng frowned, then decided to first follow the movements of the little figures drawn in the manual.

The movements of the little figures were all very difficult, and Lin Feng was stumped after just a few tries.

After many failures, Lin Feng finally succeeded in completing the movements on the first page.

After completing the movements on the first page, Lin Feng felt as if there was a small sun within his body, and soon he was sweating profusely.

He checked his attribute panel, and there was no improvement, but after persistently completing the movements, his body did feel much more comfortable.

Could this be some kind of health-preserving secret manual??

Ultimately, Lin Feng spent several hours finally completing all the movements in the secret manual. The blade he used was, of course, the Tang Dao, which came with a fire enchantment. When encountering ghosts, coupled with Yang energy, it would be a double critical hit.

There wasn’t much in this secret manual. After completing it, Lin Feng only felt his mental energy was abundant, but his attribute panel didn’t show any attribute increases.

This left Lin Feng very confused, but he couldn’t be blamed, as he had never encountered this type of thing before.

”Could it be that when I perform these movements, Yang energy is imbued into my blade??”

It seemed that this was the only possibility.

Lin Feng thought to himself, it seemed this could only be verified through practice.

He saw that it was very late, so Lin Feng went to sleep.

The Treasure-Seeking Rat and the Little Velociraptor were still watching TV. Lin Feng was too lazy to bother them. Let the dragon and the rat watch if they want, it’s better than them tearing the house apart.

...........

”Beep, the floor the Host is about to enter is an ancient town. There may be some dangers on this floor, mostly neutral creatures. Please explore this floor yourself, Host.”

”Attention, no items can be brought into this floor. Entry to this floor can be refused. This floor will last for ten days.”

”Beep, congratulations Host, you have triggered a selection quest.

Option One: Act Righteously, please help at least ten neutral creatures. Reward: Righteousness: Charm +5, Sanity +5.

Option Two: Sole Sovereign, please control the entire town. Reward: Strength +10.”

.........

”I choose one.”

”Beep, selection complete. Sending quest assistance tool. Host can bring one item into this floor.”

Although Option Two was also good, its difficulty was much higher compared to Option One. Moreover, Lin Feng wasn’t particularly lacking in strength right now; his Strength attribute was as high as 117 points.

In contrast, his Sanity attribute had only just reached 36 points. As for what the Charm attribute was for?

Lin Feng still hadn’t figured that out.

After the selection was complete, the Elevator’s announcement sounded, and the item Lin Feng chose to bring in was the newly purchased Vanguard Assault Rifle.

It was perfect for testing its combat effectiveness.

Upon entering the floor, Lin Feng was faced with a fertile farmland. Several elderly people were tending to weeds in the field under the scorching sun.

The air smelled very pleasant, without the feeling of industrial pollution.

He seemed to be in a small village right now?

Following the country path, Lin Feng entered this village filled with thatched-roof houses.

The village population wasn’t large, with only about twenty houses.

Just then, a sound of horse hooves approached.

Several Soldier wearing cloth armor arrived in the village with a piece of paper.

After a flurry of gongs and drums, the villagers gathered.
