Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Please trust me“Forget it, I don’t need this steel plate anyway; it just reduces my load. I must have driven straight to this spot, so all I need to do now is follow the road back.”

.....

At noon, Lin Feng successfully arrived at the military base.

This time, he finally saw the War Titan.

At this moment, the War Titan was aimlessly wandering around the military base.

Lin Feng was only about seven or eight hundred meters away from it.

He took out the AT launcher, aimed the scope at it, held down the trigger for three seconds, then released it.

The missile instantly shot straight into the sky. The next moment, a wisp of white smoke streaked across the sky. The War Titan’s anti-aircraft weapon system seemed to be damaged, as it showed no reaction to the incoming missile.

It took a direct hit.

Seeing that the War Titan was still alive, Lin Feng quickly followed up with another shot.

In the end, it took three shots to kill the War Titan.

“This Titan isn’t all that great.”

“Ding-dong, Seeker Lin Feng has completed the upgrade mission and obtained upgrade permission.”

After hearing the Elevator’s broadcast, just as Lin Feng was about to feel proud, a bright light suddenly appeared from the military base.

“That’s… Holy crap! Missile!!!”

Lin Feng’s pupils constricted slightly, and he quickly ran backward.

“Protocol Two, Protect. Target locked. Attempting interception. Please trust me, Mr. Lin Feng.”

It was then that Lin Feng realized that 101 hadn’t run with him; instead, it was attempting to intercept the incoming rocket with the machine gun on its head.

Rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat!!

Gunshots rang out, and dense bullet trails shot into the sky.

Maybe it really can intercept it?

Boom!!

With a loud bang, the rocket exploded six or seven meters in the air. The interception was successful!

However, the airwave from the explosion also knocked 101 flying.

Its already rusty body disintegrated in the air, turning into a pile of parts scattered on the ground.

Even Lin Feng, who was a bit further away, experienced some ringing in his ears.

“101…”

Lin Feng didn’t have time to linger. He picked up 101’s relatively intact main body and ran back into the car. After all, he didn’t know if the military base would launch more rockets, and staying there any longer was no different from seeking death.

After successfully starting the car, Lin Feng drove to find a relatively intact house. Of course, it couldn’t compare to the Villa he had lived in before.

But at least the windows and roof of this bungalow were intact.

Similarly, there were no decaying corpses inside, but Lin Feng also didn’t find anything useful.

After parking the car in the garage, Lin Feng took an AK47 with him and then carried 101’s main body back into the house.

The main body had been pierced by shrapnel. After carefully disassembling it, Lin Feng sighed.

All the electronic components inside were damaged.

It seemed almost impossible to repair it. He wondered if the Universal Hammer could fix it.

“Even if it can’t be fixed, I have to try.”

Lin Feng had a good impression of this little robot; it was obedient, capable of doing anything, and worked tirelessly—a perfect butler.

After eating a pound of ham, Lin Feng endured his hunger and fell into a dream.

The next day, Lin Feng was woken up by thirst. After drinking the last of his emergency water, he had no water left.

If he didn’t find drinking water today, Lin Feng would be dehydrated tomorrow.

If tomorrow was the last day, it would be fine; he could just tough it out. But the problem was that tomorrow was only the fifth day.

Today, Lin Feng spent the entire day searching for water. With the help of the car, it was relatively easy; at least he wouldn’t lose the already scarce energy in his body due to activity.

By the end of the day, Lin Feng had only found two bottles of water whose drinkability was uncertain, and a bag of potato chips that had been crushed into powder. The two bottles of water, once opened, had no particular smell.

And they were relatively clear.

Lin Feng, who hadn’t had water for another day, really couldn’t bear it anymore. He licked his chapped lips, struggling fiercely internally.

Survival supplies in this godforsaken place were truly too scarce.

But Lin Feng was also afraid that the water might be something bad, so he was very conflicted at the moment.

Just then, voices came from outside the bungalow. Three people, tightly wrapped in headscarves, were approaching Lin Feng’s bungalow.

It was getting dark, and they might have come to spend the night.

Lin Feng watched their backpacks through the window like a hungry wolf.

There must be water inside!

Click.

The AK in his hand was cocked, and Lin Feng hid in the darkness.

The two people, completely unprepared, pushed open the door.

It was clear these were other Seekers.

Based on the behavior of the two arms dealers yesterday, it wasn’t hard to deduce that the natives of this world were very cautious.

Even with the quietest little house, they would observe the details when entering to determine if anyone had lived there.

“Holy crap, this house is quite clean.”

After entering the house, one of them said, shining a flashlight around.

“It’s really good, and it looks quite safe. Let’s rest here for the night. Tomorrow, after another day’s journey, we can return to the camp to submit the mission. We’ll split the rewarded ice crystal stone evenly then. Isn’t Lin Feng, the number one on the combat power list, offering a high price for ice crystal stone?”

“Whatever, damn it, I’m exhausted from walking all day. What are we eating tonight?”

“What else can we eat? Compressed biscuits soaked in water.”

“Alright, hurry up and get it out. I’m starving.”

.......

Listening to the three people’s conversation, Lin Feng slowly salivated, but he still grasped the most crucial point.

Submitting the mission, and the reward was ice crystal stone!

And it sounded like a considerable amount, at least three pieces, otherwise, how would the three of them split it?

“Looks like I’ll have to take one alive.”

Lin Feng slowly raised his gun.

Bang!

Bang!

After two gunshots, the two people sitting on the sofa, preparing to drink water, were directly shot in the head, their brains splattering everywhere.

The last person was startled by the sudden gunshots, and the compressed biscuit in his hand slipped to the ground.

“Put down your gun. I won’t kill you.”

Lin Feng slowly walked out of the shadows, his voice cold.

The last person immediately surrendered, throwing down his shotgun and kneeling on the ground with his hands over his head.

“So skilled? You’ve done this a lot, brother.”

“Heh, hehe, talent, talent, big brother.”

As the person spoke, he looked up at Lin Feng, and his eyes immediately widened considerably.

“Lin Feng? No, Lin Da Lao?”

“What? You know me?”

“Of course! Who doesn’t know your great name?”

“Hmm, then tell me, what do you mean by returning to the camp to submit the mission?”

“Uh, this…”

Seeing the other party hesitate, Lin Feng directly fired a shot next to his ear; the bullet grazed past his ear.

“I’ll tell you! I’ll tell you, don’t, don’t kill me!”

“I, we received a mission from the natives on this floor to find a black box in the city center. After we bring it back, he’ll give us three ice crystal stones. That’s, that’s how it is.”
