Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Finding a place to stay“Then how do you distinguish between friend and foe?”

“Based on the information sent by the terminal, but now the terminal data has been tampered with, so we no longer obey the terminal.”

“Alright, let’s find a place to stay for the night first. Do you know anywhere safe?”

“I apologize, Lin Feng, based on my current database, I cannot fulfill your request.”

Hearing it, Lin Feng sighed. It seemed he would have to find a place himself.

“Then do you know where the safe zone is?”

“The closest safe zone to us is currently one hundred and fifty kilometers away, but the bridge leading to the safe zone has been destroyed, so you can only travel by plane.”

That far?

Lin Feng frowned. If it was that far, he wouldn’t go. After all, he was only here to survive for seven days.

Several hours later, before dark, Lin Feng successfully found a place to stay.

According to the map, this area should be suburban. There weren’t many houses, and they weren’t severely affected by the war.

At the very least, there were still relatively intact houses here.

And Lin Feng chose to live in a self-built Villa.

The Villa inside was still intact, and there were no corpses.

The power system was also completely out of order. After searching the Villa, Lin Feng found two edible canned tomatoes, a whole ham, a hand-cranked generator, and ten bottles of fine wine.

Although he had a generator, the Villa’s power system was damaged, and he wasn’t an electrician, so he couldn’t fix it at all.

“101, can you fix the power system here?”

“Yes, Lin Feng, please wait.”

101’s hands rapidly transformed, quickly changing from fingers into various tools.

Under Lin Feng’s shocked gaze, it walked towards the Villa’s power distribution room.

“This little guy is quite versatile.”

After cleaning the dust off the sofa, Lin Feng sat on it and spaced out for a while.

He was thinking about how to survive the remaining six days.

Now it seemed that the living conditions were very harsh.

All kinds of survival supplies were very scarce, there were many external threats, and the environment was very harsh.

Grumble~~

Just then, Lin Feng’s stomach growled.

“Let’s eat some food first.”

All day today, Lin Feng had been relying on the food he ate before entering the building. He hadn’t had a drop of water all day, only eating an energy bar to replenish his strength.

The energy bar he obtained was also cleverly made of chocolate, with many nuts inside, and some sour candy bits. After eating it, a lot of saliva would be secreted in his mouth.

So he wouldn’t choke from lack of water.

Opening the emergency water, Lin Feng drank the entire bag in one go.

However, this emergency water could only help you when you were about to dehydrate; such a bag was far from enough for a normal person’s daily needs.

Fortunately, there were also canned tomatoes. Lin Feng’s luck was quite good; both cans of tomatoes had not expired. He tasted them, and they were sweet and sour, and it was specifically noted on the can that the juice could replenish moisture.

After eating one can, Lin Feng was not full, but he still held back.

Food was limited, so he had to plan carefully so that if he couldn’t find other food in the next seven days, he wouldn’t starve to death.

Two hours later, 101 came to Lin Feng.

“Lin Feng, the circuit system has been repaired, and I have connected the hand-cranked generator for you.”

“Mm, good.”

Lin Feng did not immediately generate electricity to provide lighting for the Villa.

Because that would expose his location too easily, he had to seal all the Villa’s windows first.

The electric curtains on the windows were all broken. Lin Feng finally spent some time manually pulling these curtains down.

The curtains were thick, opaque black ones. After pulling them down, Lin Feng fumbled in the dark to the hand-cranked generator, which was a familiar bicycle-style generator.

After successful power-up, the undamaged appliances in the room began to operate.

“101, can you help me slice that ham?”

“Yes, Lin Feng.”

The ham Lin Feng found should have been made from beef leg and was air-dried, making it perfectly edible raw. This meat would last for two or three days without issue.

Lin Feng generated electricity also because he wanted to know if the tap water here was still usable, after all, he couldn’t miss any opportunity to obtain resources.

Unfortunately, only two drops of water dripped from the faucet before it stopped.

“Sigh, I should conserve my energy. I’m going to sleep.”

Sighing, Lin Feng lay on the bed and closed his eyes.

After an unknown amount of time, Lin Feng seemed to hear a slight sound of a door opening in his sleep.

In this environment, Lin Feng had to remain vigilant, so he slept very lightly.

He saw that 101 had entered sleep mode, which conserved energy.

It would automatically wake up when it was time, or when awakened by others.

“Click, click, click.”

The sound of knocking came again. Lin Feng immediately picked up the steel rod, bent down, and quietly went behind the Villa’s main door.

It was now certain that it wasn’t a robot outside, because Lin Feng heard slightly nervous breathing. After activating Still Invisibility, Lin Feng waited quietly.

Crack!

With a crisp sound, the main door was successfully pried open by the person outside.

A pistol slowly extended in from outside.

A black man perfectly blended into the night, slowly walking into the Villa.

Hiding behind the door, Lin Feng seized the opportunity and swung the rod down.

“Bang!”

With a dull thud, the coal ball that walked in fell to the ground.

“This should be a Seeker, right? Never mind him.”

After searching the body, Lin Feng obtained a stop pistol, a magazine, a pack of chewing gum, a pack of compressed biscuits, half a bottle of water, about two hundred milliliters, and a pocket watch.

After dragging the corpse into a room, Lin Feng re-locked the door.

Now that he had a watch, he could finally know the exact time.

The current time was two in the morning.

Yawning, Lin Feng returned to the bedroom to continue sleeping.

The next day, at seven in the morning, Lin Feng had already left the Villa.

And had 101 guard the Villa.

After picking up trash all morning, Lin Feng was completely desperate.

Damn it, can you believe he only found a piece of moldy bread all morning??

He should have eaten a bigu pill before coming in.

Lin Feng’s cowhide backpack still contained several bigu pills.

Although the side effect was diarrhea for three days, after eating them, he wouldn’t feel hungry for a week.
