Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

The fortune tellers in the world are generally evil.He finished the rest of the cigarette butt.

“Damn! You little rascal, you’re so ruthless?”

The Treasure-Seeking Rat’s fate was naturally not good; he coughed violently on Lin Feng’s head, and even white smoke came out of his ears, as if his CPU had burned out.

“Squeak! So refreshing~”

With a splat, the Treasure-Seeking Rat fell directly from Lin Feng’s head.

He lay on the ground, looking as if he had fainted from pleasure.

The cigarette was indeed strong, and Lin Feng hadn’t expected Huangdou to be so reckless, wanting a puff of everything.

He checked his condition, and thankfully, he was fine.

“Beep, the floor the Host is about to enter is the Trading Floor. This floor is a peaceful floor. The Elevator will stop for 5 hours. You can trade with others on this floor. If violent conflicts occur on the peaceful floor, guards will intervene to control them. Host, please be aware.”

Finally, the Trading Floor is here.

Upon hearing the system’s voice, Lin Feng was overjoyed and immediately put all the items he intended to sell into his backpack.

First were the Snow Worm eggs. Lin Feng truly had no use for these, and selling them should fetch a good price. Then there were various miscellaneous weapons. After adding five thousand gold coins, Lin Feng quietly waited for the Elevator’s announcement.

“Ding-dong! Elevator ascending, please hold on tight.”

............

Upon arriving at the Trading Floor, Lin Feng’s eyes lit up, for he saw a high-tech weapon shop in the distance.

This should be the type of Trading Floor he was entering for the first time.

It was quite comprehensive, very good.

Lin Feng was not in a hurry to go to the high-tech shop. Instead, he found a guard here and set up a stall.

His spot was quite good, in the middle of a crossroads.

Next to him was an old man with a white beard.

He looked mysterious, and when Lin Feng saw the sign he took out, he felt even more curious.

This old man was a fortune teller?

“Master, are you a fortune teller?”

Lin Feng turned his head and asked curiously.

“Indeed.”

The old man had an unapproachable demeanor, very aloof.

“Is it accurate?”

“Believe it, and it’s true; don’t believe it, and it’s false.”

“Then can you tell my fortune?”

“Young friend, fortune-telling is about fate. You and this old man do not yet have fate.”

The old man said, while hinting with his eyes for Lin Feng to look at the words below the sign.

“Oh~ I understand. Here you go.”

Lin Feng smiled, then took out a gold coin and placed it in the cloth bag on the ground.

“Ahem, then this old man shall begin.”

The old man closed his eyes and began to pinch his fingers, looking very serious.

A moment later, he slowly opened his eyes.

“You are not from this world, are you?”

“Uh, could it be that you are?”

Lin Feng looked at the old man with a face full of black lines. Was he treating him like a three-year-old child?

Indeed, all fortune-telling old men who set up stalls were the same.

However, Lin Feng was just bored and wanted to have some fun. One gold coin wasn’t expensive, so he just considered it entertainment.

“Ahem, this old man made a mistake. Give this old man another chance.”

“Then go ahead.”

Lin Feng looked at the passing crowd. Seeing that no one was interested in his items, he continued to talk to the old man.

“Fate, fate~”

“Hey! You’re not even accurate, and you still want money?”

“This is the rule. You give this old man the yuan, and then this old man will have karma with you, and only then will there be fate. Don’t worry, if it’s not accurate this time, a full refund!”

The old man stroked his beard, looking very serious.

“Alright, here you go.”

Next, he repeated the previous actions.

“You are a man.”

Lin Feng: .........

“Haha, just kidding.”

“Master has quite a sense of humor, huh....”

“Ahem, your name is Lin Feng. This old man didn’t get it wrong this time, did he?”

Lin Feng, who hadn’t been paying much attention, immediately became alert when he heard the old man speak his name.

He looked him over carefully. This old man didn’t seem like a Seeker!

“Who are you?”

Lin Feng’s voice grew slightly colder. Could it be that this old man really had some tricks up his sleeve?

“Heh heh, this old man is a stranger to you, young friend. There’s no need to be so vigilant. Do you believe it now?”

“I’ll give you another gold coin. Can you tell me when my first customer will arrive? How about it?”

Lin Feng took out a gold coin and said. His name might have been a guess, but when someone would come to Lin Feng to buy something, that was not necessarily the case.

“Fortune-telling for wealth? Possible.”

The old man took the gold coin and began drawing circles in his hand.

“After half an incense stick.”

Lin Feng was somewhat surprised to see the old man give a precise time.

He had originally thought the old man would give an ambiguous time and then try to muddle through by luck.

Half an incense stick was fifteen minutes.

Lin Feng looked at his pocket watch and waited quietly.

Fifteen minutes later, a small creature wearing animal skins walked towards Lin Feng.

“A customer really came?”

Lin Feng looked surprised.

The customer in front of him seemed to be a type of goblin creature.

He pointed at the Snow Worm eggs on Lin Feng’s stall and asked, “How many gold coins for these Snow Worm eggs?”

“Do you have ice crystal stones?”

Since this goblin knew about Snow Worm eggs, he must certainly know about ice crystal stones. Compared to gold coins, Lin Feng was more interested in ice crystal stones.

“ice crystal stones? Yes, how many do you want?”

“You name your price. If it’s suitable, I’ll sell.”

Lin Feng smiled, looking very laid-back.

Actually, it was entirely because he didn’t know the price of ice crystal stones.

“Hmm... I only have five ice crystal stones. What do you think?”

“Add another hundred gold coins.”

Lin Feng said, making an exorbitant demand.

That’s how you do business.

“This..... Alright.”

The goblin pretended to hesitate for a while, then directly agreed to the trade.

Damn! Bro lost again and again!

Lin Feng’s mouth twitched, but the price had already been agreed upon, so he could only exchange money for goods.

With the first deal successfully completed, Lin Feng also believed in the old man’s abilities a little more.

Surely, this old man wouldn’t specifically pay someone to be a shill, would he?

The cost would be too high.

“How was it, young friend?”

“Amazing, my vision was too narrow.”

Lin Feng smiled, but he didn’t ask the old man to tell his fortune again. He didn’t want the old man to actually figure something out.

That would be no fun.

After the auspicious start, Lin Feng’s stall finally got some business, and similarly, the old man’s side also started getting business.

Ultimately, within an hour, Lin Feng successfully sold everything.

He received a total of 5 ice crystal stones and three hundred gold coins.

Not bad, being able to earn so much money by disposing of junk.

Returning to the Elevator, Lin Feng called out to Little Velociraptor and Treasure-Seeking Rat, 101. (101 had already been certified by the trap system).

In the end, only 101 didn’t come out to play; he said he needed to prepare dinner for Lin Feng and the others.

It must be said, he was truly a dedicated butler.
