Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Treasures of the tribeAs for the empire Lin Feng mentioned, he was just spouting nonsense. Didn’t you notice he cunningly avoided saying the empire’s full name?

Sure enough, the three burly men immediately believed Lin Feng’s words and even mistakenly thought he was a merchant from the North Wind Empire.

This was because the North Wind Empire was the closest human empire to them, and merchant caravans did indeed come here regularly to trade with their polar tribes.

”So that’s it. Kuba, take this merchant back. Oh, and is your caravan just you, or are there others?”

”The main force is still behind; I’m the vanguard.”

After Lin Feng casually offered an excuse, he followed the burly man in front of him to the Bending Blade Tribe.

The Bending Blade Tribe was not very far from here, and Lin Feng quickly arrived. The 48-hour time limit for this floor was almost up.

Lin Feng roughly estimated there were still about seven or eight hours left.

Therefore, he would have to quickly return to the Elevator after a brief exploration of the Bending Blade Tribe.

After bringing Lin Feng into the Bending Blade Tribe and introducing him to the chief, the burly man who brought him in left.

To Lin Feng’s surprise, the chief of the Bending Blade Tribe was a young woman named Lihua.

Although she was a woman, her strong muscles proved that she was not just for show.

Lin Feng had originally thought the chief would be an old man or something.

”So, the caravan will arrive at our tribe the day after tomorrow?”

”Yes, Chief Lihua. Our caravan has prepared plenty of food this time. What have you prepared?”

”Haha, don’t worry, our Bending Blade Tribe has always had abundant ore. You can rest assured about that.”

”By the way, the brother who brought me back just now said they were going to check on the loud noise coming from the cave. I did see a cave when I passed by earlier. Is there something inside?”

”What? There really is a cave?”

Lihua showed a surprised expression.

”What’s wrong?”

”Haha, I also heard it from my father. He said that a Snow Worm lives under that lake, and there are also Snow Worm eggs. If we can retrieve them and hatch them, the hatched Snow Worms will help our tribe grow and prosper.”

”It’s just that after all this time, we haven’t received any news. I didn’t expect it to actually exist.”

”So that’s it.”

Lin Feng nodded slightly. So that thing was a Snow Worm egg.

Lin Feng had thought it was some kind of ore.

This Snow Worm egg should also have some value; he could find an opportunity to sell it.

”By the way, shall I take you to see the ore we’ve prepared? You can see if you’re satisfied.”

Just as Lin Feng was about to slip away, Lihua suddenly spoke.

”Uh, alright, let’s go then.”

Lin Feng checked the time and nodded.

He then went with Little Velociraptor to the place where they stored their ore.

Their ore was piled in the open, without even a cloth to shield it from wind and rain.

Although it was openly piled, it didn’t mean there were no guards. According to the chief’s introduction, Soldier patrolled and guarded the ore pile every day.

After all, these ores were the only things they could offer for foreign trade.

Lin Feng took a rough look, and after confirming that all these ores were ordinary ores, he lost interest.

He had originally thought this tribe might bring him some small surprises, but it seemed he had thought too much.

Just as Lin Feng was about to find an opportunity to leave the tribe, the Treasure-Seeking Rat suddenly squeaked at him.

To others, the Treasure-Seeking Rat sitting on Little Velociraptor’s head was just squeaking, as if begging for food or something.

But when Lin Feng heard it, his eyes gradually brightened.

”Chief Lihua, please go about your business. I’ll just look around on my own.”

”Mm, alright. If you need anything, just find me.”

After Lihua finished speaking, she didn’t continue to follow Lin Feng.

When no one was around, Lin Feng picked up the Treasure-Seeking Rat.

”You just said there’s treasure nearby?”

”Squeak, squeak, squeak! That’s right!”

”Where?”

Lin Feng asked eagerly, as time was running out.

”Go back and give Ben Shu that black box you eat.”

”Black box?”

Lin Feng scratched his head. What black box?

Could this guy be talking about the self-heating hotpot?

Never mind, just agree for now!

”No problem, when we go back, you can eat whatever you want. Where’s the treasure? Tell me quickly.”

”Squeak, squeak! Over there.”

The Treasure-Seeking Rat broke free from Lin Feng’s hand and scrambled onto Lin Feng’s head.

”Ben Shu will direct you. Let’s go, let’s go!”

Feeling the little creature on his head, Lin Feng was speechless, but he still walked in the direction the Treasure-Seeking Rat indicated.

........... Several minutes later, Lin Feng stopped at a heavily guarded area.

Five Soldier stood guard outside the door. A life detector search confirmed that there was no one inside.

”Treasure-Seeking Rat, do you know what the treasure inside is?”

”Squeak, squeak, I don’t know.”

The Treasure-Seeking Rat said matter-of-factly.

”Alright.”

Lin Feng lingered there for a moment and said, he needed to find a way to get in.

Wait, he could disguise himself!

Wouldn’t disguising himself as their chief allow him to enter and exit freely?

Lin Feng’s heart instantly grew excited, and he then tried hard to recall Chief Lihua’s appearance.

”Damn it, no, I need to go see what she looks like again.”

After trying and failing to disguise himself, Lin Feng immediately went to find Chief Lihua.

Then he just stared at her and stared.

”I, you, is something wrong?”

Lihua, who had been stared at by Lin Feng for several minutes, asked somewhat bewildered.

”Nothing, Chief Lihua, you are the most beautiful lady I have ever seen.”

After saying that, Lin Feng turned and left, leaving only a slightly shy Lihua behind.

Then, he snuck an outfit from the tribe’s clothes-drying area.

Lihua’s clothes were the same as those worn by commoners, so he didn’t necessarily need the one she was wearing.

After some tinkering, Lin Feng successfully disguised himself and put his battle armor into his cowhide backpack.

After putting on the clothes, he walked towards the house with the cowhide backpack, while Little Velociraptor and the Treasure-Seeking Rat waited for him outside.

The current Lin Feng looked exactly like Lihua.

The only flaws were that his voice and figure hadn’t changed, but they couldn’t be seen due to the clothes.

As for his voice, he just needed to act aloof and not speak.

As Lin Feng had imagined, when he passed the guards, they saw it was their chief and didn’t suspect anything, directly helping him open the door.

Inside the house, many torches were lit for illumination.

In the very center of the room, there was a wooden box.

”This should be the treasure, right?”

Lin Feng walked forward and opened it directly.

As for whether there would be traps or similar things, Lin Feng said he wasn’t worried.

He was very confident in his own strength.

Whoosh!

A sound of something breaking through the air rang out, and a poisonous needle flew from the wall.

”Sure enough, there’s a trap.”
