Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Flying Wings of SoybeanSoon, two robots appeared and picked up the Little Velociraptor.

The Little Velociraptor, looking utterly bewildered, would have likely melted the two robots into molten iron with a blast of flames if Lin Feng hadn’t been present.

”It’s alright, go ahead. I’ll make you a set of mecha,” Lin Feng said with a smile, stroking its head.

”Awoo! Awoo!”

Soon, the Little Velociraptor emerged from the nearby room, a large piece of meat clutched in its mouth.

Upon inquiry, Lin Feng learned that the meat was given to it.

Goodness, they’re treating the Little Velociraptor like a baby, aren’t they?

Half an hour later, the Little Velociraptor’s mecha was delivered. Like Lin Feng’s, it was a backpack-storable battlesuit. The only difference was that the Little Velociraptor’s battlesuit didn’t have as many functions.

After asking, Lin Feng learned that the Little Velociraptor’s battlesuit had anti-poison, waterproof, and fireproof functions, but it didn’t have a smart voice assistant like Big Black.

For attack capabilities, a 10mm laser cannon could be activated from its back, solar-powered, with a firing rate of 0.5 rounds per minute.

Its offensive capability could be described as very weak, but the defensive capability of this mecha was quite good.

According to the data, it could withstand two shots from a standard laser cannon.

Besides these, it could also assist in increasing the wearer’s strength and speed.

Overall, it was quite good. When the Little Velociraptor put it on, even Lin Feng couldn’t help but praise it.

It was entirely black and silver, fully enclosed. The armor over its mouth could be freely controlled to open and close. When closed, it also had an air filtration function. For power, it could rely on the high-power solar panels on the backpack or directly charge the energy battery.

(PS: I couldn’t find a reference image. If you have a suitable one, you can share it~)

The mecha’s activation method was also very simple, requiring only the Little Velociraptor to emit a specific cry.

For this, the Little Velociraptor deliberated carefully.

If there were a dinosaur language translator, Lin Feng would really want to know if the Little Velociraptor was shouting something like ”Fiery Dragon Armor, Combine!”

The Treasure-Seeking Rat, seeing the Little Velociraptor acquire such cool equipment, immediately grew envious, its small eyes sparkling like black gems.

”Squeak! Squeak!”

”You want one too?”

Lin Feng looked at the Treasure-Seeking Rat’s size. It was so small; wearing a mecha seemed a bit off, didn’t it?

”Do you have a suitable flying backpack for it here?” Lin Feng asked, taking the Treasure-Seeking Rat from his head.

”Hmm... yes, please wait a moment.”

The long-haired girl’s eyes projected a virtual screen, searching on it. Soon, a robot dog came running over, carrying a box.

”Mini flying wings, priced at 100 gold coins, plus two mini batteries as a gift.”

”Alright,” Lin Feng nodded, then took it and let the Treasure-Seeking Rat try it on. It was just the right size.

The function of these flying wings was purely flight capability.

They could also be charged using solar energy; many solar panels were integrated into the small flying wings.

One charge allowed for ten hours of flight and could lift a maximum of 250 kilograms of heavy objects.

There was no attack capability.

This data was already quite good.

The Treasure-Seeking Rat was also very surprised to find that it could fly directly after putting this on. It had a blast playing around, but because it was unfamiliar with it, it basically fell down after flying for a bit.

After paying, Lin Feng returned to the Elevator.

This trip’s expenses were quite high.

His laser rifle was 2,000 gold coins, the Little Velociraptor’s battlesuit was 500 gold coins, and the Treasure-Seeking Rat’s flying wings were 100 gold coins.

”These high-tech weapons really make money,” Lin Feng lamented in his heart.

The weapons and equipment they sold could definitely be mass-produced, and perhaps they were even items they had already phased out.

They were just clearing inventory here.

But then again, their civilization level was higher.

Upon returning to the Elevator, Lin Feng smelled a fragrance. It turned out that 101 had already prepared dinner.

(PS: Many people asked how big the protagonist’s Elevator was. I’ll answer here: it’s about 200 square meters.)

With its flying device, Huang Dou no longer sat on Lin Feng’s or the Little Velociraptor’s head, but sped directly to 101.

”Squeak, squeak, squeak!” (What are we eating today? Iron lump that can cook!)

Before 101 could reply, the Treasure-Seeking Rat had already flown to the pot.

The aroma of roasted meat immediately overwhelmed it. Besides roasted meat, there were also stir-fried dishes.

The vegetables were grown from random seeds.

”When are we having a seafood feast?” the Treasure-Seeking Rat asked while gnawing on the roasted meat.

”When there’s an opportunity.”

Treasure-Seeking Rat: .......

Damn two-legged beast, how dare he lie to Ben Shu!

Forget it, I won’t bother with him. The roasted meat smells good too~

Just then, Lin Feng’s private message icon lit up.

It was a reply from Qin An.

Qin An: [Holy cow, Lin Feng, guess where I’ve been lately?]

Qin An: [I was f*cking thrown into the desert, with nothing but my underwear left on me, bro.]

Qin An: [Damn it, this Elevator is truly cursed. If I hadn’t been lucky enough to find an oasis, I would’ve turned into a pile of bones!]

....

Below were Qin An’s ramblings.

On Blue Star, at the end of a bustling street, a disheveled young man was fiercely attacking a plate of rice noodles.

”Boss! Another bowl!!”

That’s right, this was Qin An.

He had already eaten his fifth bowl, not because the portions were small, but because he was truly starving. Plus, because he had taken the Body Strengthening Pill, his appetite had increased, so even after five bowls, he still wasn’t full.

The stall owner’s hands, making the rice noodles, had already started trembling.

However, he quickly served Qin An another portion.

After finishing this bowl, Qin An was barely 60% full. He’d browse the Snack Street later and grab some snacks to fill the remaining gap.

After paying, Qin An arrived at the Snack Street.

However, his attire truly made him look somewhat like a homeless person. Wherever he went, people around him gave him strange looks and walked away in disgust.

”Damn, have I gotten ugly?” Qin An scratched his head, then turned to look at the large display window of the mall.

Qin An: .......

Who is that person?

Forget it, I should go find a hotel and wash up.

After finding a step to sit on, Qin An took out his phone and started searching for nearby hotels.

Just then, a beautiful woman suddenly came up to him, sighed, and threw a hundred-yuan bill.

”Hey, no, not again??”

Seeing this familiar scene, Qin An’s mental state completely shattered.

Forget it, I’ll find a hotel first.

..........

Lin Feng hadn’t seen Qin An’s reply yet.

He was currently studying the Little Velociraptor’s fire-breathing ability.

He finally learned that this gluttonous Velociraptor could breathe out as much fire as it ate.

When full, it could maintain it for more than ten seconds; when hungry, only for one or two seconds.

As Huang Dou said, the Little Velociraptor’s awakened lighter ability was indeed good.
