Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

GainsOn the other side, Lin Feng, after maneuvering the van through several turns, arrived at a place he didn’t even know.

There was nothing he could do; the storm was too big, and Lin Feng, already unfamiliar with the area, completely lost his sense of direction.

”Forget it, I’ll just drive straight along the road.”

Lin Feng thought to himself, then continued to drive forward along the road.

Most of the abandoned vehicles on the road had been corroded by the sandstorm and were not very sturdy.

The Wuling Hongguang, which had been modified almost into an armored vehicle, was perfectly capable of ramming through them.

An hour later, the storm stopped, and Lin Feng could finally see his surroundings clearly; only then did he realize that he had unknowingly arrived in the suburbs.

There was an abandoned gas station just ahead, so he parked the car inside, and Lin Feng opened the trunk to check his haul.

The entire rear compartment of this Wuling Hongguang had been removed, making for a large space.

Weapons hung on both sides of the rear compartment; Lin Feng checked them and found a total of five assault rifles, three submachine guns, twelve handguns, and two shotguns.

Besides these firearms, there were also many crates in the trunk, which, when opened, contained bullets and grenades.

Finally, Lin Feng found an AT tube in a black wooden box at the very bottom.

There were also three missiles.

The difficulty of use was not high; one just needed to aim at the target with the optical sight, press and hold the trigger, wait for three seconds, and then release the trigger, and the missile would automatically track the target.

The effective range was three thousand meters.

With this, Lin Feng should have no problem dealing with a War Titan.

Just as Lin Feng was inspecting this vehicle loaded with military supplies, intense gunfire suddenly erupted from the gas station’s service hall.

Bullets densely struck the van; fortunately, the vehicle was sturdy enough, and the bullets only made a clinking sound upon impact, but the added armor on both sides might not last much longer.

Upon being attacked, Lin Feng immediately hid on the other side of the van.

Based on the density of the gunfire, Lin Feng estimated there were at least three enemies.

At this moment, 101 extended something similar to a camera from its body, poking out from the vehicle, quickly scanning the targets attacking them.

”Mr. Lin Feng, confirmed targets are combat robots.”

Bang!

As soon as 101 finished speaking, a bullet directly blew up the camera it had extended.

The impact of the bullet nearly sent 101’s body flying.

”101! Are you alright?”

”I’m fine, Mr. Lin Feng.”

After righting itself with its robotic arm, 101 twisted its head.

Then, the machine gun on its head rose.

”Mr. Lin Feng, it seems we are surrounded. The only way to escape is for me to go out and draw fire while you eliminate them. According to Protocol Two, I am obligated to do so.”

Hearing 101’s words, Lin Feng paused.

”Don’t rush, there should be other ways.”

Lin Feng looked around; the only problem now was that he was locked on. As soon as he poked his head out, he would be hit, as a robot’s reaction speed could not be measured by human standards.

So he could only play dirty.

”101, go back into the car from the passenger seat!”

”Understood, Mr. Lin Feng.”

After 101 returned to the car, Lin Feng activated three stealth skills: Still Invisibility, Cold-Blooded Creature, and Hunyue Moya.

With these three skills active, even the robots’ scanning functions wouldn’t be able to detect Lin Feng’s presence.

Lin Feng’s goal was to wait for them to come closer; once they were near, he would have a chance to fight.

Soon, seeing no sound behind the car, the three combat robots slowly surrounded it from three directions.

After the three robots converged, they were confused to find that the person behind the car was gone, and one of them even scratched its head in a human-like manner.

Just as they were about to open the car door, Lin Feng, who had been lurking nearby, punched the robot closest to him.

The robot, head-shotted by the iron fist, died on the spot. Immediately after, Lin Feng grabbed the robot’s corpse to shield himself, and with his other hand, raised his revolver and fired several shots.

Another combat robot was killed. The last one reacted quickly, firing several shots at the exposed part of Lin Feng, but in the end, it too was taken down by a headshot from Lin Feng.

”These combat robots react really fast.”

Lin Feng touched his hit calf, and a piercing pain came over him.

What was even more uncomfortable was having to remove the bullet.

Normally, a bullet would pass through the calf.

But due to Lin Feng’s physique, the bullet got stuck inside.

Perhaps this was the awkward phase of physical growth.

With another thirty or forty points of growth, Lin Feng’s dream of resisting bullets with his bare flesh might come true.

”Mr. Lin Feng, do you need me to remove the bullet for you?”

”You can remove bullets?”

”Yes.”

Saying this, 101’s robotic arm extended a small knife and a pair of tweezers.

”Trust me.”

..........

Ten minutes later, the three bullet heads were removed. After wiping the sweat from his forehead, Lin Feng leaned on the car and stood up.

The wound was rapidly recovering at this time, and simultaneously, Lin Feng’s stomach rumbled.

Due to the side effect of self-healing, a sensation of hunger instantly filled his entire body. Because he had eaten little in the past few days, Lin Feng’s body even began to tremble.

He ate two energy bars and a can of tomatoes, and only then did he feel a little better.

However, Lin Feng was still very hungry.

After picking up the weapons of the three combat robots, Lin Feng went to the gas station’s convenience store and found two expired packs of instant noodles and an unopened bottle of water.

Tearing open the packaging and gulping down the noodle cake with water, Lin Feng’s hunger in his stomach was greatly alleviated.

At this moment, Lin Feng noticed that 101 was disassembling parts from the combat robots.

”What are you doing?”

”Mr. Lin Feng, I am looking for parts to repair my camera. The pixel quality of my backup camera is too low.”

”And did you find them?”

”I apologize, their camera parts are too advanced and not compatible with mine.”

101 lowered its head in disappointment.

”Haha, it’s alright. I’ll help you fix it.”

Lin Feng said, placing his hand on 101’s rusty body.

”I trust you, Mr. Lin Feng.”

Back in the car, Lin Feng checked the time: ten in the morning.

There’s still time. I’ll just do the mission today to avoid any further complications.

After starting the car, Lin Feng pressed the accelerator and drove out.

Clang!

”What was that?”

Hearing the sound, Lin Feng quickly stopped the car, opened the window, and poked his head out to look behind.

That’s right, this broken car didn’t even have a rearview mirror.

The steel plate that had just blocked countless bullets was directly shaken off when Lin Feng started the car.

They had really fixed the steel plate casually; it was just screwed on.
