Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

It’s reasonable for a security guard like me to collect protection fees, right?“Are you the new security guard?”

The leading ghost student, with an ear piercing and dyed yellow hair, sized up Lin Feng with disdain.

Lin Feng, seeing how arrogant the other party was, originally wanted to give him a bullet, but then he remembered his system mission was bullying, so he changed his mind.

He walked over, clenching his fist.

“Still want to fight?!”

“Brothers, let’s show this new security guard what we’re capable of!”

The Three Brothers threw the basketballs in their hands, then tilted their bodies, striking a strange pose.

Then, with a big leap, they jumped towards Lin Feng.

“Seriously, are all these ghost students so ridiculous?”

Looking at the Three Brothers, who were like clowns, Lin Feng was speechless, then he threw a punch directly sending all three of them flying several meters.

By the time they reacted, Lin Feng’s fist struck again.

“Bang, bang, bang,” three punches later, the Three Brothers in front of him were directly deformed.

“Big Brother, Big Brother! Stop hitting us, please, stop hitting us!”

The yellow-haired one who had been shouting earlier quickly raised his hands in surrender, and the other two ghosts, one with red hair and one with purple hair, also raised their hands in surrender.

Only then did Lin Feng withdraw his fist.

After the Three Brothers reshaped their flattened heads, they turned and tried to run.

“Stop!”

Lin Feng’s voice immediately made the three of them stop, then they timidly turned their heads.

“Big Brother, wha-what do you want?”

“What time is it now?”

“Huh?”

The yellow-haired one was stunned and subconsciously wanted to check his watch, but the red-haired junior next to him, who might have been quicker-witted, quickly spoke up.

“It’s class time.”

“Hmm, you know it’s class time and you’re skipping? A thousand squats each, do them quickly!”

“Huh?”

The Three Brothers were bewildered, a thousand squats, was he serious??

“‘Huh’ your ass, do them quickly! If you don’t want to do them, that’s fine, just slap each other for an hour.”

“No, no, no, Big Brother, we, we’ll do them now, we’ll do them now.”

The yellow-haired one quickly waved his hands, then promptly started doing squats, and the other two juniors, seeing that their boss had given in, naturally followed suit.

Lin Feng nodded in satisfaction at this, and over an hour later, the Three Brothers finished, panting heavily.

“Big Brother, can we, can we go now?”

“Wait!”

“Wha-what now?”

The yellow-haired one shivered, turning around and speaking fearfully.

“Pay protection fees.”

“Pro-protection fees??”

“Nonsense, as a security guard, I protect the entire school, so don’t you have to pay some protection fees as a token of appreciation?”

“Big Brother, you’re right, I have, I have two hundred, it’s all for Big Brother.”

The yellow-haired one rummaged through his pockets, then pulled out two black banknotes.

“What about you two, quickly take them out!”

The yellow-haired one shouted at his two juniors.

The other two juniors also tremblingly took out fifty-yuan banknotes.

“Alright, scram.”

“Understood, Big Brother, see you again!”

The yellow-haired one, seeing that Lin Feng finally let him go, immediately breathed a sigh of relief, picked up the basketball he had just dropped, and fled in a sorry state.

The other two juniors did the same, picking up their basketballs and disappearing shortly after.

Lin Feng, meanwhile, examined the banknotes in his hand.

These should be the common currency of this world, right.

Two fifty-denomination notes, two hundred-denomination notes.

The banknotes were entirely black, printed with some plant patterns.

Through the light, he could vaguely see two characters: Ghost Coin.

Not bad, there happened to be a supermarket in the school, so Lin Feng, with the protection fees he had just collected, strolled leisurely towards the supermarket.

The supermarket was very small, with only five employees, and no customers buying things. What surprised Lin Feng was that there were many foods that humans could also eat in the supermarket, but they were all snacks, like self-heating hotpot, self-heating rice, potato chips, french fries, spicy strips, instant noodles, sausages, and the like.

The purchasing power of Ghost Coins was similar to that of Blue Star’s RMB.

After browsing the supermarket for a while, Lin Feng only bought five buckets of instant noodles, along with matching sausages and braised eggs.

These items cost Lin Feng over forty Ghost Coins in total.

After paying, Lin Feng took the items and turned to leave.

In the short time he had been shopping, the street, which had been empty moments ago, was now filled with students everywhere.

And if Lin Feng hadn’t known that all the students in this school were ghosts, he probably would have thought this was just a perfectly normal campus.

No one paid attention to Lin Feng on the way, and so, Lin Feng returned to the security office.

For some reason, the weather here during the day was completely different from the weather at night; it should have been over thirty degrees Celsius during the day, but at night it was less than ten degrees.

After turning on the air conditioning, Lin Feng comfortably sat in his chair and turned on the computer.

Although he wasn’t afraid of heat, not turning on the air conditioning when it was available would be pure foolishness.

Tearing open the instant noodle packaging, adding two sausages and two eggs, then pouring in hot water, his leisurely time began.

On the other side, the trio taught a lesson by Lin Feng were currently gathered with hundreds of students in the lecture hall, discussing how to get revenge.

As the school bully, with hundreds of subordinates, the yellow-haired one had been humiliated by a security guard; how could he just back down like this?

“Brothers, let’s all gather tonight, we’re going to meet this new security guard!”

“Damn it, he dared to humiliate Brother Huang, he’s really asking for death!”

“Tonight, we’ll let this new security guard know that protection fees aren’t so easy to collect!”

...............

The ghosts grew more and more agitated as they spoke, wishing they could run over and eat Lin Feng right now.

In contrast, Lin Feng was currently eating instant noodles and watching a ghost world soap opera.

He had to admit, it was quite flavorful.

In the afternoon, Lin Feng wandered around the school again and finally found the location of the lecture hall.

The lecture hall was a standalone building.

There were a total of five classrooms, perhaps only used for important meetings or large lectures.

So it seemed a bit deserted here.

Even the lighting was a bit dim, he didn’t know if it was to save electricity.

Lin Feng, walking through the corridor, looked at a few rooms. The system hadn’t told him which specific classroom it was, so he could only search them one by one.

Half an hour later, Lin Feng arrived at the last classroom.

It was located in the corner on the second floor.

This lecture hall was the smallest compared to the other four.

“It should be here, right?”

Lin Feng scratched his head; he had searched the previous four classrooms very carefully and hadn’t found anything special.

After pushing open the door, Lin Feng was immediately shocked by the sight inside.

The walls were covered in colorful graffiti.

Most of the desks and chairs had been dismantled, and even several windows were broken.

On the blackboard in the classroom, there was a drawing of a small figure dismembered.

That small figure was wearing a security uniform, exactly like Lin Feng’s.

“Damn, this wouldn’t happen to be me, would it???”
