After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1249: Chapter 1253: You’re Not My Wife

Sensing her sadness, Leng Zirui released his arms that had been around her waist and patted her shoulder comfortingly, ”Don’t be sad. Aren’t they a family of three together now?”

”Yeah!” Xu Xia nodded lightly, ”Luckily Leng Zimo remembered everything, otherwise, I really wouldn’t know what to do.”

Knowing she still felt guilty for introducing Dr. Yin to Luo Xiaoqian back then, Leng Zirui looked seriously at her, ”It wasn’t your fault. If Xiao Qian wanted to leave, she would have left even without Dr. Yin. I think it might not be a bad thing.”

He knew the truth best. Given Luo Xiaoqian’s personality and the situation at that time, even without Dr. Yin, she would have certainly left Leng Zimo.

As for the past five years, Leng Zimo was not too miserable. For Luo Xiaoqian, knowing Leng Zimo was happy was a kind of happiness for her as well.

In this way, Xu Xia had actually helped Luo Xiaoqian.

”Really?” Xu Xia looked at him, uncertain.

”Of course. I know my brother best. Without amnesia, he would have gone crazy these five years.” Leng Zirui lifted his hand to comfortingly stroke her hair, ”So, don’t keep dwelling on this because it really isn’t your fault.”

Hearing his words, Xu Xia felt much comforted and immediately smiled at him, ”Listening to you makes me feel so much lighter.”

”Alright, let’s continue looking at the photos.” Leng Zirui laughed as he pulled her closer and brought up the next photo, ”This one was taken the other day when I took him to look at fighter jets. Look at the lighting effects, aren’t they professional?”

Xu Xia leaned her face over to look at the photos on the phone with him, ”This one is really nice, it looks like it was taken with a DSLR.”

...

They continued flipping through the photos one by one.

Leng Zirui explained each scene, while Xu Xia commented from the side. Naturally, she always found Luo Jun pleasing to the eye, and as for the occasionally appearing Leng Zirui, he was mostly the target of her critiques.

Leng Zirui had released his embrace, but Xu Xia still sat on one of his legs, both of their heads leaning together.

Going through the photos from start to finish, Leng Zirui showed her each one until the last, ”See? It’s all Mo Mo, there’s none of you!”

Xu Xia turned to look at him, ”Then why were you so nervous?”

Leng Zirui certainly wouldn’t tell her there was very important information on his phone. Meeting her gaze lazily, he shrugged, ”A man’s phone isn’t something you should just let a woman see. Besides, you’re not my wife!”

Xu Xia gave him a disdainful look. Feeling the weight on her hair, she automatically lowered her head, only to see that the fingers of Leng Zirui’s hand encircling her waist were tangled in her hair.

It was only then she realized she had been sitting on his lap.

Earlier, she had been sitting in his arms watching photos with him like this?!

Realizing this fact, Xu Xia felt a prickling sensation like a needle. She jumped up from Leng Zirui’s leg.

Leng Zirui was startled by her movement, ”What’s wrong?!”

”I...” Xu Xia was at a loss for words, suppressing the embarrassment on her face after a moment, she covered it up by saying, ”It’s getting late, I need to go do my makeup and change.”

Turning around, she walked quickly into her bedroom, sat in front of the vanity, still feeling somewhat flustered.
