After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1245: Chapter 1249: How Much Longer Are You Going to Soak in There?

”Nonsense!”

”Don’t believe it?” Leng Zirui took out his phone and waved it at her, ”I captured it all. Want to see?!”

He actually dared to take her picture?!

Xu Xia never thought he was teasing her on purpose and immediately shouted, ”Delete it right now!”

Leng Zirui waved the phone in his hand, ”Deleting Xu Xia’s half-naked celebrity photos would be such a waste. If I sell them, they could fetch a six-figure price, right?!”

Xu Xia was furious and grabbed a bottle of shower gel to throw at him.

Leng Zirui sidestepped to avoid it.

Then another, this time shampoo.

Bubble soap.

Essential oils.

A soaked MP3 player and earphones.

Slippers.

...

Leng Zirui caught each one in his hands. Xu Xia looked around, found nothing else to throw, and saw a towel on the counter. She grabbed and tossed it.

The towel spread open mid-air and covered Leng Zirui.

Following that, she threw the little bamboo basket holding the towel, and finally hit her target.

Watching Leng Zirui with the towel covering him and a small bamboo basket hanging on his head, Xu Xia crouched in the bathtub and laughed with pride.

Leng Zirui lifted his hands, removed the basket and towel from his head, and looked at her with a smile, ”So, how long do you plan to keep soaking in there?!”

With this reminder, Xu Xia finally realized the serious problem.

She had thrown away the towel and now, she didn’t have anything to cover herself with. Was she going to stay in the bathtub indefinitely?

She stretched out her hand, ”Give me the towel, and get out!”

Leng Zirui waved the towel in his hand, ”I don’t like that attitude!”

”Humph!” Xu Xia snorted lightly, ”Suit yourself, I’ll just soak a bit longer anyway. But someone’s plan to pick up girls at the film festival will be going down the drain with me!”

Leng Zirui chuckled, then took a step forward, ”Well, I’ll reluctantly lower my standards then!”

”What are you doing?!” Seeing him approach with a mischievous smile, Xu Xia couldn’t help but get nervous.

”What do you think I’m doing?!” Leng Zirui bent down towards her with a wicked smile.

Xu Xia instinctively shrank back, ”Leng Zirui, I’m warning you, if you dare to touch me...”

Before she could finish, Leng Zirui had already thrown the towel onto her head.

Xu Xia raised her hand to yank down the towel, but he was already gone from sight. Hastily pulling the towel to cover herself, she dashed out of the bathroom barefoot, locked her bedroom door, and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Leng Zirui stepped back out through the apartment’s main door, opened it and stepped out, only to see a cleaner tossing the takeout he’d left at the door into her trash cart.

”Wait...”

Leng Zirui managed to shout just one word before the items were thrown into the trash cart.

The cleaner turned to look at him, ”Young man, have some civic sense; don’t just leave garbage at the door!”

Garbage?!

Leng Zirui raised his hand to rub his forehead, ”Ma’am, that was my takeout!”

”Ah!” The cleaner hurriedly retrieved the paper bag from the trash cart, carefully looked at the boxes inside, and immediately turned frightened, ”I’m sorry, I... I thought it was garbage...”

”Forget it!” Leng Zirui smiled at her, ”No worries, it’s not your fault.”

Although he was a wealthy heir, Leng Zirui didn’t have the imperiousness that people in high positions often display. He simply waved at her and then walked back inside.

By then, Xu Xia had already dressed and come out. Seeing him, she promptly asked bluntly, ”Where are my porridge and buns?!”

Leng Zirui shrugged his shoulders, ”I knocked but you didn’t answer, so I thought you were in trouble, went inside to save you, and it got taken by the cleaner.”
