After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1203: Chapter 1207: Is Your Foot Okay?

Strolling down the steps, Luo Ke looked at the coin in his hand, casually tossed it, and the coin traced a parabola through the air, landing accurately in the Wishing Well.

By the Wishing Well, Luo Xiaoqian, satisfied with seeing her own coin sink to the bottom, couldn’t help but yawn. She glanced at her watch and saw that it was almost ten-thirty, so she immediately called for John to return to the hotel together.

Leaving the Wishing Well, the two returned directly to the hotel.

After a flight of more than ten hours, plus staying up five extra hours to adjust to the time difference, she was utterly exhausted. Back in her room, Luo Xiaoqian locked the doors and windows, took a quick shower, and collapsed onto the pillow, falling asleep instantly.

In the luxury suite five floors away, Luo Ke handed the USB drive given to him by Luo Xiaoqian directly to his assistant, Allen.

Allen took the USB drive, immediately connected it to the computer, saw the folder inside, swiftly entered the password, and indeed accessed the folder smoothly. He checked it carefully and only then lightly nodded, ”No problem, all the documents are here.”

Luo Ke stood up, and through the floor-to-ceiling window, looked at this ancient yet bustling city, ”Contact the buyer, to trade in Rome.”

”Yes!” Allen walked to his side, respectfully inquiring, ”Will you attend the music festival banquet organized by the company this time?”

Banquet?!

Luo Ke hesitated for a moment, then gently nodded, ”Go make the arrangements.”

”Rest early, good night!”

He bowed slightly to him, Allen turned and gathered the items on the table, then left his room.

The next day, Luo Xiaoqian got up early. After sleeping through the night, she was now full of energy.

According to the music festival’s schedule, the afternoon was set for some company and academic exchange activities, while the evening was for performances and a banquet.

Compared to the performances and banquet, she was naturally more interested in the exchange activities. After having a simple breakfast with Selena and others, the group headed directly upstairs to the venue for the activities, carrying materials and promotional videos.

The organizer’s staff enthusiastically greeted them and led them to the exhibition hall area arranged for them. Luo Xiaoqian immediately started working with the others to set up the booth.

Placing the decorative bouquet on the display stand, Luo Xiaoqian stepped down from the stage, wanting to see the overall effect. Feeling that the position was not ideal, she immediately stepped back, wanting to take a few more steps for a better view.

By coincidence, someone happened to be walking through the aisle beside the exhibition hall. Her step back landed right on that person’s foot, her high heels stepping squarely on it.

Realizing something was off beneath her foot, Luo Xiaoqian quickly retracted her foot and turned her face to look behind her.

”I’m sorry, really sorry, I...” Seeing who it was, she was taken aback, ”It’s you?!”

Luo Ke looked at Luo Xiaoqian in her professional attire, lightly dusted with makeup, standing in her high heels, first stunned, then a smile widened on his face, ”What a coincidence!”

Luo Xiaoqian, a bit embarrassed, looked at his shoes dirtied by her step, ”Is your foot okay?”

”It’s fine.” Luo Ke shrugged.

”Are you here for the music festival too?” Luo Xiaoqian asked with a smile.

”Welcome to the music festival.” Luo Ke extended his hand to her, ”Let me introduce myself, Luo Ke. Gaudi!”

Luo Ke. Gaudi?

The head of Italy’s largest media company, the organizer of this music festival!

Luo Xiaoqian’s eyes revealed unabashed astonishment, ”You are Mr. Gaudi, the founder of Gaudi Media?”
