After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1246: Chapter 1250: Watch How This Young Master Wins Over Your Stomach

Xu Xia obviously didn’t believe it and rolled her eyes, ”Why didn’t you just say it was taken by aliens?”

Just as she finished speaking, there was a knock at the door.

Leng Zirui turned around and opened the door, seeing the cleaner from earlier standing outside with a black wallet in his hand, ”Young man, this wallet is yours, right? I found it in your takeout bag just now!”

”Thank you!” Leng Zirui took the wallet and hurriedly expressed his gratitude.

After paying the bill, he casually stuffed the wallet into the takeout bag, but with Xu Xia’s fuss, he had forgotten about it.

”Next time, don’t leave things lying around. Wouldn’t it be a shame if it got lost?” the cleaner reminded him with a smile before turning to leave.

Closing the door, Leng Zirui waved the wallet in his hand at her, ”See, I wasn’t lying, was I?!”

Knowing she had wronged him, Xu Xia pouted, ”Anyway, I’m really hungry now. If I don’t eat, I’ll be in a bad mood. And when I’m in a bad mood, I don’t want to go out!”

”OK!” Leng Zirui raised his hand to signal her to pause, ”What do you have at home? General will personally cook for you, alright?”

He can cook?!

Xu Xia rolled her eyes, ”I still want to live a few more days!”

Leng Zirui tossed the wallet onto the table and rolled up his sleeves, ”Watch how this young master conquers your stomach!”

With that, he turned and walked into the kitchen.

Is this guy serious?!

Xu Xia followed him over, drying her hair with a towel.

By then, Leng Zirui had already opened the fridge.

Seeing the various instant foods and snacks in the fridge, he frowned deeply, ”Do you eat this junk every day?!”

”You’re the one eating junk!” Xu Xia immediately retorted, ”If you can’t cook, don’t pretend to be a chef by putting on airs.”

Leng Zirui ignored her, taking out what he deemed usable ingredients.

Bread, ham, eggs, milk, fruit... and a pack of instant dumplings.

Leng Zirui glanced at the clock, ”There’s still fifteen minutes until the hour you mentioned. In fifteen minutes, Young Master Leng’s fusion breakfast will definitely be ready before you!”

After carefully washing his hands, he took a frying pan, expertly lit the fire, and added oil, arranging the dumplings one by one into a beautiful flower shape, then making the prepared sauce.

As the dumplings sizzled in the oil, he went back to fry eggs and slice ham.

His knife skills were incredibly fast; before Xu Xia could see what he was doing, he’d already cut off the edges of the bread. With a deft flip of the pan, he turned the frying egg, and in one swift motion, sliced the ham.

The fried egg came off the pan, layered perfectly, and he didn’t forget to grab some condensed milk and chocolate sauce, with which he squeezed out a beautiful design of an arrow through two hearts on the finished sandwich.

Turning off the other burner, he took out a plate, flipped the pan, and served it up.

”Thirteen minutes!” he reported the time as he raised his hand to present two plates to Xu Xia, ”There, your brunch!”

On the left plate, the fried egg sandwich displayed two hearts intertwined.

On the right plate, the pan-fried dumplings were golden and crispy, topped with a lovely icy flower, just looking at it made one drool.

Staring at the enticing food before her, Xu Xia was already dumbfounded.

From his knife skills to the swift movements, it was obvious this guy wasn’t cooking for the first time.

This playboy young master, who would’ve thought he had these skills?!

”So, are you almost in love with me yet?!” Leng Zirui placed the plate into her hands, ”Bring it out, I’ll get the utensils and milk!”

Good afternoon.
