After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1237: Chapter 1241: I Accept Your Invitation

”Hello, who is this?!”

Luo Xiaoqian asked the phone.

She didn’t have any friends in Europe. Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t figure out who would be calling her from Europe.

”Sissi!” A deep baritone voice came through the receiver, with a slightly sandy texture, quite pleasant, but it didn’t allow Luo Xiaoqian to identify the owner just by the voice.

”I’m Sissi, may I ask who you are?” Luo Xiaoqian switched to English, her tone very polite.

She had previously been to Europe for exhibitions, and later some European clients contacted the company to discuss some planning business. Some even wanted her to be a product endorser for the Asia Region. Luo Xiaoqian naturally assumed this person was also a client from a European company.

”I’m Mr. Luo Ke.” The other party responded in Chinese.

Mr. Luo Ke?!

”Oh, hello!” A trace of surprise crept into Luo Xiaoqian’s voice, ”You must want to talk about a business collaboration, right? These matters are currently being handled by my assistant Mike, I’ll pass the phone to him.”

In fact, if he hadn’t called her, she would have almost forgotten that Mr. Luo Ke even existed in this world.

After participating in the exhibition that day, she returned from Europe as soon as possible. Later, Selena had called her, saying Gaudi Company and L&L Company had signed some cooperation intentions, but Luo Xiaoqian didn’t pay much attention.

After all, there are many businesses in the company now, she couldn’t be concerned with every single one. After confirming her pregnancy recently, she handed over most of the company’s affairs to Mike to manage, only making some key decisions herself.

”This call is purely a personal one.” Mr. Luo Ke paused on the other end, ”Or, am I being too presumptuous?”

Luo Xiaoqian laughed, ”Not at all, you’re too polite. I just didn’t expect you would call me.”

Anyway, the other party is a business client, and considering what happened before, the two of them have had some interaction, even if not friends, they are at least acquaintances.

”The company is forming a group to participate in the Beijing International Film Festival, and I suddenly thought of you, so I made this call.”

This film festival, of course, Luo Xiaoqian knows about. Emperor View is one of the organizers. As Leng Zimo’s wife, Luo Xiaoqian would also attend.

”Will you come?!” Luo Xiaoqian asked.

”Do you want me to come?” Mr. Luo Ke countered.

”If you can attend in person, I think it would be an honor for the film festival!”

”I’m asking your personal opinion.”

”My personal opinion?” Luo Xiaoqian waved to Leng Zimo and Luo Jun, who were riding horses in the distance, ”Of course, I hope you can come.”

Gaudi Media has significant influence in Italy and Europe. If Mr. Luo Ke comes in person, it will naturally expand the film festival’s influence in Europe, which would be a great addition for Emperor View. As the wife of the head of Emperor View, Leng Zimo, of course, Luo Xiaoqian hopes Mr. Luo Ke can come.

A noticeable tone of delight came from Mr. Luo Ke, ”I accept your invitation, see you in Beijing!”

Luo Xiaoqian didn’t pay much attention to his choice of words and replied with a smile, ”See you in Beijing!”

”Mom!”

In the distance, Leng Zimo, holding Luo Jun, rode over on a horse. Seeing them, Luo Xiaoqian immediately smiled and waved at them, ”Mr. Luo Ke, I have something to do now, we’ll meet again when you come to Beijing.”

”Alright!” Mr. Luo Ke hung up the phone.
