After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1214: Chapter 1218: Won’t the Baby Be Hungry?

Luo Xiaoqian drank several large glasses of water, and only then did she go for an ultrasound examination in the company of Leng Zimo and Luo Jun.

Listening to the sounds coming from the machine, Luo Jun was extremely curious and excited, ”What is that sound?”

Leng Zimo patiently explained to him, ”It’s the heartbeat of the little baby in mommy’s belly.”

”Why can’t I see it?” Luo Jun looked at the ultrasound screen and asked in confusion.

Leng Zimo laughed, ”The little baby is still very small, not even as big as a peanut, so of course, you can’t see it.”

”So small?” Luo Jun stretched out his little finger to gesture the size, ”Is mommy going to be Thumbelina?”

Even the doctor in charge of the ultrasound was amused by him, ”Little boy, you were the same when you were in mommy’s belly. After a few months, you’ll grow to the size of a normal baby.”

Luo Jun nodded, ”So that’s how it is.”

Leng Zimo smiled and patted his small shoulder, ”Now that mommy has a little baby, we have to protect her together, okay?”

”Not just protect her, protect her and the little baby.” Luo Jun corrected him earnestly.

Leng Zimo smiled and nodded, ”Mo Mo is right, protect mommy and the little baby.”

”All done!” The doctor smiled and stopped what she was doing, ”Everything is normal. Just maintain regular nutrition, pay attention to rest, and don’t get too tired.”

Leng Zimo got up to support Luo Xiaoqian, and Luo Jun immediately copied him, moving over to support the other side of Luo Xiaoqian’s arm with a look of a young protector.

After bidding the doctor goodbye, the family of three left the hospital once more.

Leng Zimo drove to a private restaurant he had heard of before, and the three of them entered a private room to order food. Luo Jun kept looking at Luo Xiaoqian’s belly.

Soon, the food was served, and Leng Zimo took care of both by helping Luo Jun pick dishes, peel shrimp, and remove fish bones, while also taking care of Luo Xiaoqian.

”I can manage myself.” Luo Xiaoqian watched him take care of the two of them, barely eating anything, and felt a bit heartbroken, ”You just need to take care of Mo Mo.”

Leng Zimo put the deboned fish into her bowl, ”I’ll take care of all three of you.”

Luo Jun was eating and occasionally glanced at her belly, ”Won’t the little baby be hungry?”

Leng Zimo placed the other half of the fish into his bowl, ”The food mommy eats will half go to the little baby. Do you understand?”

Luo Jun opened his small mouth in surprise, ”So that’s how it is, mommy’s belly is amazing!”

Watching the little one with his innocent expression, the two adults chuckled softly.

After eating, the three of them went back to the Leng Family home together.

As soon as they entered the door, Luo Jun couldn’t wait to announce the news to Leng Lin, who was sitting on the sofa reading a newspaper.

”Grandpa, grandpa, mommy is going to have a little baby!”

Leng Lin put down the newspaper in his hand and looked at Luo Xiaoqian, who was being helped to the sofa by Leng Zimo, ”Really?”

Luo Xiaoqian handed the ultrasound sheet in her hand to him, ”We went to the hospital before lunch, it’s already almost one and a half months, and the doctor said everything is normal.”

”That’s great!” Aunt Su, who was tidying up things in the kitchen, wiped her hands and came out from the room, ”I was wondering why Xiao Qian looked more and more beautiful these days, this pregnancy, it’s definitely a girl!”

”You say what I love to hear the most,” Luo Xiaoqian laughed.

”I’m not just saying it.” Aunt Su wiped her hands with an apron, ”I heard it last time from Miss Tong. She said something about having a girl and some estrogen secretion, I don’t really get it, but it makes mommy more beautiful. Look, Xiao Qian’s complexion has been great these days, her cheeks are rosy, this one is definitely a daughter.”
