After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1239: Chapter 1243: Even If You Scream Yourself Hoarse, They Still Won’t Show Up

Luo Jun was catching grasshoppers in the grass, and Luo Xiaoqian squinted her eyes slightly, looking at the sunset that had fallen on the woods in the distance, ”So beautiful!”

Leng Zimo took off his coat and draped it over her shoulders, ”Next month, when the lavender in Provence blooms, let’s stay in the castle for a while, okay?”

Five years ago, when Huangfu Ruo and Qin Lan got married, he had said that when the lavender bloomed, he would take her to stay at the castle.

After five years, it’s time to fulfill that promise.

Turning her face, she looked at his handsome face under the sunset, and Luo Xiaoqian smiled, resting her head on his shoulder, ”Okay!”

EM Record Company.

”Thank you for your hard work, goodbye!” Waving to the sound engineer, Xu Xia opened the door and walked out of the recording studio. Just as she exited, a large bouquet was thrust in front of her.

It was a large bouquet made of chocolates, hiding the face of the person holding it, revealing only two long legs and feet clad in military boots.

”Miss Xu, it was hard work with the recording. Would you do me the honor of having dinner with me?!”

Hearing that all-too-familiar voice, Xu Xia’s surprise at the sight of the flowers instantly turned to anger.

Without even looking, she recognized it was Leng Zirui by the sound of his voice.

”Not interested!” She replied with just three words, stepping away, while glancing at the sides of the corridor in confusion, ”Lan Zi, Xiao Gao?!”

They aren’t waiting in the recording studio, and now they’re nowhere to be seen. Where on earth did those two go?

”No need to shout, even if you yell until you’re hoarse, they won’t appear.” Leng Zirui strode to her side, ”I’ve already sent them home.”

Xu Xia stopped in her tracks, glaring at him with her big eyes in annoyance, ”You sent them home, who do you think you are?!”

”Because I’m your boyfriend!” Leng Zirui raised the corners of his lips, smiling mischievously.

Xu Xia was fuming, almost wanting to kick him away, but after taking three deep breaths, she managed to control her emotions.

”Leng Zirui!” She frowned, looking at his face through the large bouquet, ”What exactly do you want?!”

”Have dinner with you, then take you home. If you’re willing, I wouldn’t mind going up to your place for a cup of coffee, maybe do something else!” He winked at her playfully, ”You know what I mean!”

Xu Xia was both amused and exasperated, ”Leng Zirui, are you out of your mind?”

”I am indeed out of my mind!” Leng Zirui stood up straight, looking at her earnestly, ”Xu Xia, if liking you is a disease, then I fear I’m beyond cure!”

”Then you might as well go to hell!” Xu Xia retorted with an eye-roll and turned to leave.

The elevator happened to stop on this floor, and as she pressed the button to open it, she immediately stepped inside, hearing his footsteps approaching, Xu Xia raised her hand and pressed the door close button.

Leng Zirui dashed over, rushing into the elevator before the doors could close.

The elevator doors closed and descended, Xu Xia glanced at him sideways, leaning against the elevator wall, pretending he didn’t exist.

Leng Zirui casually pulled a chocolate from the bouquet and offered it to her, ”Hungry? Have a piece to fill your stomach, then we can go eat. What do you want, Chinese or Western cuisine?!”

Xu Xia turned her face away, ignoring him.

”Waiting for me to feed you?” Leng Zirui wasn’t upset, instantly taking back the chocolate, peeling off the foil and bringing it to her lips, ”Come on, open up!”

Xu Xia gave him a sideways glance, reached out to take the chocolate, and tossed it in her mouth, ”Go on, what exactly is your purpose?!”
