After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1238: Chapter 1242: That European Radish?

Leng Zimo was originally riding with Luo Jun and noticed Luo Xiaoqian answering a phone call with her mobile. He immediately turned his horse around and galloped toward her.

The two of them were riding on a tall, entirely snow-white horse. Leng Zimo held Luo Jun with one arm and pulled the reins with the other. Though he wasn’t in horse-riding attire, his posture was quite graceful.

The little guy was held in his embrace and wasn’t afraid at all. Instead, he was excitedly cheering nonstop.

With the sunset casting a slanted light, the father and son’s features seemed even more profound and delicate. Luo Xiaoqian immediately raised her phone and snapped a few photos of the two.

Just as Leng Zimo stopped the horse, she walked over right away, came to the side of the horse, and took a selfie photo with the three of them.

”This horse is really gorgeous!” Luo Xiaoqian returned the phone to Mike and gently stroked the mane on the horse’s back, ”Mo Mo, was horse riding fun?!”

”Yeah!” The little guy nodded excitedly, ”We just ran really fast, like we were flying.”

Leng Zimo jumped down from the horse holding Luo Jun, handed the horse over to the approaching staff, and looked at the phone Mike had handed over with slight displeasure, ”Why didn’t you transfer to the landline?”

Considering that cell phone radiation might affect the baby, Leng Zimo had issued an order that whenever someone called Luo Xiaoqian’s cell, it should be transferred to the landline.

Mike shrugged apologetically, ”It’s an international long-distance call from Europe, Mr. Luo Ke, the president of Gaudi Media, so I just brought the mobile over directly.”

With the other party’s special status, how could he ask them to redial the landline?

”The president of Gaudi Media?” Leng Zimo’s tone carried a hint of jealousy, ”That European carrot?”

European carrot?

Mike kept a straight face to avoid laughing out loud. His boss was truly the epitome of a jealous man.

”What is European carrot? Is it tasty?” The little guy Luo Jun asked puzzledly.

”Very tasteless!” Leng Zimo answered.

Luo Xiaoqian chuckled lightly, ”He said he’s coming to Beijing for the international film festival, so he called me.”

”An old fox’s intention is never the wine!” Leng Zimo curled his lip in disdain.

Luo Xiaoqian wasn’t a host, yet the caller gave her a call, clearly with other motives.

”Let him be drunk or not, wine or not, anyway I’m not interested in carrots.” Luo Xiaoqian laughed and embraced his arm, ”Zimo, I also want to ride a horse.”

”No way!” Leng Zimo immediately refused, ”How can you ride a horse now, it’s too dangerous.”

”Zimo?!” Luo Xiaoqian shook his arm playfully, ”I just want to ride a bit, please?”

She had loved horses since childhood but never had the chance or time to learn how to ride. Now with horses on her own farm, she itched to try riding.

Leng Zimo looked helplessly at her face and extended one finger, ”Just one lap!”

”Our Zimo is the best!” Luo Xiaoqian immediately smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek, then walked toward the horse.

”Wait!” Leng Zimo hurriedly followed and carefully lifted her onto the saddle.

”Mom, I want to too!” Luo Jun ran over as well.

Leng Zimo bent down and picked him up to place him in front of Luo Xiaoqian, settled the two, and then took the reins himself, slowly leading them onto the grasslands, with John and another staff already following diligently, carefully protecting them.

Leading the horse, they crossed the grass, went up the grass hill, and Leng Zimo stopped the horse and embraced the big and small one down.
