After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1223: Chapter 1227: Hypoglycemia During Pregnancy

”Your wife is pregnant, isn’t that a happy event?” the doctor asked with a smile.

The doctor didn’t know much about the two of them. Seeing Tang Ming rush in holding Seo Fei so urgently just now, it was natural for the doctor to assume they were a married couple.

”Pregnant?” Tang Ming was startled, ”Are you saying... Xiao Pei — no, Seo Fei is pregnant?!”

”That’s right!” The doctor handed over the test results, ”This is your wife’s blood test report. It shows she’s already pregnant. After becoming pregnant, a woman’s nutritional needs increase significantly. Her fainting could be due to malnutrition. You shouldn’t be careless; from today onwards, you must greatly enhance her nutrition; otherwise, it might affect the child’s development!”

Tang Ming took the test report and looked at those data he didn’t quite understand. The initial disappointment and anger on his face gradually turned into joy.

A child?

She was carrying his child!

To him, this was indeed a tremendous joy.

”To ensure the safety of the child, I suggest you let your wife have an ultrasound check,” the doctor suggested with a smile.

”Doctor!” Tang Ming hurriedly grabbed his arm, ”Could you help me with something?”

”What is it?” the doctor asked, puzzled.

”Well, my wife has never really liked children. I’m worried she won’t be able to accept this, so could you keep this a secret for now? Don’t tell her until I’ve had a chance to talk with her and prepare her for it?”

She didn’t know about the incident between him and Seo Fei. Tang Ming wasn’t sure how she would react if she found out she was pregnant now.

The doctor nodded, ”I can keep the secret for you. However, for her and the child’s health, I think you should tell her as soon as possible. Otherwise, it could be detrimental to the child’s development.”

”Thank you, doctor, I will tell her soon!” Tang Ming glanced at Seo Fei’s ward not far away, ”Does she need to be hospitalized?”

”No need, as long as her blood pressure and blood sugar stabilize, she can go home. Just make sure she gets plenty of rest,” the doctor said.

Only then did Tang Ming feel relieved. He took the test results and returned to Seo Fei’s ward, ”Xiao Fei, how are you?”

”I’m okay.” Seo Fei glanced at the test results in his hand, ”Is there any problem?”

”No problem, the doctor said you’re just a bit malnourished.” Tang Ming smiled reassuringly, his gaze passing over her face and settling on her abdomen, imagining their child growing inside her, his smile becoming even brighter.

”Why are you smiling?” Noticing his strange expression, Seo Fei looked around and whispered, ”Did you get it?”

”Not yet.” Tang Ming smiled and adjusted her blanket, ”Are you hungry? Have a good rest. I’ll get you something to eat!”

Standing up, Tang Ming beamed as he walked out of the ward, smiling as he exited the hospital doors.

In the distance, Leng Zirui watched his expression, frowning in confusion. He had failed in his task, yet he was still smiling so happily?

Entering through the door, he glanced at the ward where Seo Fei was, then turned and walked to the doctor’s office. Seeing no one inside, he slipped in and quickly found Seo Fei’s medical records on the table, opened them, and was startled by the words ”post-pregnancy hypoglycemia” on the conclusion.

Seo Fei was carrying Tang Ming’s child?!

Hearing footsteps outside, Leng Zirui quickly put down the medical records and walked out, getting into Seo Shaochuan’s car.

”Drive, take me to the cemetery!”
