Medical Sage

”Fuck! That damn whore, that bitch... She dares to ignore me, Itak Blaswenchi? Does she really think she’s something special?” As he stalked down the main road from the airport, Itak murmured to himself with a ferocious expression. He had never imagined that an outstanding Italian gentleman like himself, a revered member of the Braswevinch Family, could be disregarded and rejected like that by a Huaxia whore.

That savage Huaxia man dressed in ’trash’ from head to toe—did that whore, that bitch, really fancy that type of garbage? The more he thought about it, the more his expression twisted with ferocious jealousy. Jealous that even such trash could win Gu Feishuang’s favor, while he, Itak, so excellent, so outstanding, so handsome... was rejected and even ridiculed. It was simply unfair!

That son-of-a-bitch whore, that damn bitch... He couldn’t stop cursing in his heart.

HONK! HONK!

Just as his face contorted with rage and jealousy, his teeth grinding, the piercing horn of a sports car blared from behind him on the airport road. Inside a gray and black Porsche, a young foreign man with absurdly multicolored hair honked with a confused look. He stuck his head out the window and shouted at Itak, ”Hey, cousin Itak! Weren’t you heading to Huaxia? Why haven’t you left? Don’t tell me the flight was delayed?”

The young man in the Porsche with the outrageously colored hair was none other than Itak’s cousin, Bruce Antonio.

Bruce was a relative from Itak’s maternal side, so he didn’t share the Braswevinch surname. However, the Antonio name was still quite prominent and influential in Milan, Italy, though it couldn’t compare to the Braswevinch Family. Because they lived close by and grew up together, Itak had a good relationship with his cousin Bruce—which of course meant they often got up to no good together. Bruce happened to be vacationing in a private villa in Dubai, so Itak had conveniently asked him for a ride to the airport.

His original plan was to accompany Gu Feishuang to coastal Huaxia. That way, he would have plenty of opportunities during the trip to deepen their ’affection’—a tactic he had often used successfully in his courtships. But now, with Chen Fei, Young Master Chen, having ruthlessly stepped in, and after what had just happened, he obviously had neither the reason nor the face to shamelessly tag along anymore.

”Damn it, Bruce, I was just about to call you. Perfect timing...” Seeing his cousin appear so conveniently, Itak dropped the last of his facade. He got into the car and began cursing, his face contorted in a snarl.

He just couldn’t understand it. How could he, Itak Blaswenchi, have basked in the noble glory of the ’Braswevinch’ surname since childhood, growing up as the proud focus of everyone’s attention? He was outstanding in his own right. Thanks to his family’s influence, he was a young double-doctorate holder from a world-renowned university. He was also the youngest executive director at Prada, earning an annual salary of three hundred thousand euros. Wherever he went, he was the picture of brilliance and success. Every one of his peers treated him with civility and respect, some even looking up to him with envy. So he had assumed that with his remarkable credentials, handsome looks, and strong physique, winning over Gu Feishuang, a minor Huaxia star who hadn’t seen much of the world, would be a cinch. But instead, not only was she not impressed, but she avoided him at every turn. It made him feel utterly humiliated. If it were just that, it would have been fine. He was confident that with his charm, this Eastern woman, this little Huaxia star, could never escape his grasp. But he never, ever expected Gu Feishuang to claim she had a boyfriend—and a boyfriend who, in his eyes, was complete trash from the lowest rung of society! A doctor? How much could a doctor possibly earn? What was his annual salary? What social status could he have? Could he ever compare to someone from Italy’s upper crust like him? Yet even so, Gu Feishuang had chosen not him, but a guy who was less handsome, whose annual salary was probably a fraction of his own, and who was an incredibly savage man dressed in rags. How could he, who had been so proud his entire life, accept such a reality? It felt like he’d been humiliated from head to toe, disdained and completely looked down upon! To him, Itak Blaswenchi, this was an unbearable, intolerable disgrace.

”Oh, cousin, you look like hell. What happened? Don’t tell me that Huaxia woman played you? Oh, what a depressing piece of news,” Bruce said with a sly, curious tone.

”Bruce, I’m not in the mood for jokes right now.” Itak’s expression grew even darker, his voice extremely irritable. ”But you’re right. That Huaxia woman is a fucking whore, a bitch.”

”Oh, alright. Maybe you should tell me what happened,” Bruce said with a shrug, a hint of schadenfreude appearing in his eyes. He knew his cousin all too well. When Itak wore that expression, it meant someone was about to have a very bad time... Oh, who could it be? That Huaxia whore he’d taken a liking to?

”Hmph. Earlier at the airport...” Itak snorted coldly but still recounted what had just happened.

”Holy shit, no way! That Huaxia man dared to be so arrogant? And that Huaxia woman, what kind of taste does she have, rejecting an outstanding man like you, cousin, for some piece of trash? Is she fucking blind?” Bruce’s expression was a strange mix of disbelief and amusement. He took a drag from his cigarette, blew a smoke ring, and then gave his cousin a sinister smile. ”Oh, cousin, doesn’t a bitch like that need to be taught a lesson? I think I remember you saying she has a brother studying here in Milan?”

”That’s exactly what I want to do. It’s inconvenient for me to handle this personally. Don’t you have a bunch of sleazy friends over there? Plus, the police department is full of your Antonio Family’s people. Bruce, I need your help. I want that whore to crawl back to me on her own and humbly beg for my forgiveness,” Itak said immediately.

”That’s nothing.” Bruce smiled casually, but then a lewd light gleamed in his eyes as he grinned wickedly. ”But cousin, I’m actually quite interested in that woman myself. After you’ve had your fill... you’ll let me have a turn, right?” His grin became even more lewd and sinister. Clearly, such ’pleasant’ deals were not uncommon between them.

”Don’t worry. Have I, Itak, ever let you down on things like this? Maybe we can even play with her together. We’ll show that whore the charm and vigor of Italian men,” Itak replied, laughing obscenely.

”Haha, I knew you wouldn’t forget me for something this good, cousin! The taste of a Huaxia star... come to think of it, it’s been a while. Don’t you worry. I’ll make that woman come to us ’willingly.’ That is, if she cares about her little brother, hahaha!” Bruce couldn’t help but laugh heartily, his expression lecherous and triumphant.

After that, Bruce began making calls. In distant Milan, Italy, a group of thugs and even the police sprang into action. Before long, someone was arrested.

「Several hours later.」

Chen Fei, Gu Feishuang, and her agent, Manager Li, landed in a coastal city in their home country after their flight from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

”Feishuang, we haven’t seen each other in so long. Let’s get dinner tonight. I noticed you didn’t eat much on the plane, and I’m not full either,” Chen Fei said to Gu Feishuang, who was pushing her luggage beside him, as he gazed at the dark night sky outside the airport. He then turned to her agent. ”And Manager Li, you’ll handle her luggage, alright?”

”Yes, yes, of course! That’s my job,” Manager Li nodded quickly, but then she couldn’t help but whisper, ”...But Mr. Chen, Feishuang is quite well-known in the country now, with a lot of fans. So, if you two are planning to go out for dinner alone, or do anything else, it would be best if you... you know, disguised yourselves a little...”

”Manager Li, what are you saying? Stop talking nonsense...” Gu Feishuang’s face flushed red. Embarrassed, she gave her manager a sharp kick before looking at Chen Fei and murmuring, her head bowed, ”Brother... Brother Fei, don’t listen to her nonsense...”

Before she could finish, the cell phone in her LV handbag suddenly rang.

A phone call. Chen Fei’s eyes flashed. Gu Feishuang, whose face was still bright red, froze for a moment before her expression turned to panic. She pulled out her phone and saw the caller ID. ”It’s my brother!” she gasped. Could it be... She clearly hadn’t forgotten Itak’s threat at the Dubai airport.

And now...

”Don’t worry. Answer it first.” Chen Fei placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling reassuringly, but a deep coldness flickered in his eyes. That guy... To think he’d actually make a move. Does he have no scruples?

Meanwhile, Gu Feishuang answered the call. Before she could speak, a middle-aged man’s voice came through the phone. ”Hello, is this Ms. Gu Feishuang, the sister of Wang Tai? I am Luo Zhou, an official from our Consulate General in Milan. I need you to spare some time right now. I have something important to tell you.”
