Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 229: Chapter 230: Rupture

The universe was shaking.

Not the testing dimension. Not a local tremor from a powerful technique. The entire universe — every planet, every star system, every dimension within Willith’s domain — vibrating at the same frequency simultaneously, it was vibrating the way a bell vibrates when struck at its exact resonant point and if it continues to vibrate from a long the the bell will shatter, and as so the universe might also shatter.

In the testing dimension where the wormhole was, the gathered beings felt it through their feet first. Then through their cultivation bases. Then through everything.

The crossing had stopped. Nobody was moving toward the wormhole anymore. Millions of beings from every race stood in place, extending their perception outward, trying to locate the source.

The Supremes at the front had already located it.

Elder Voss was no longer talking. His grey face was still and his full attention was directed inward — reading the energy signature, following it to its source, arriving at a conclusion and then checking it again because the first result didn’t seem possible.

Kael-Thon had gone completely still beside him.

Every Supreme in the front row was doing the same thing. No posturing. No political positioning. Just Supremes reading an energy signature with their full ability and getting readings that didn’t fit anything in their current reference frame.

”That’s inside the universe,” one of them said.

”I know,” another said.

”The scale of it —”

”I know.”

Voss turned to the human delegation. His earlier posture was gone. ”What is that?”

Crimson Lotus looked at him calmly. ”That,” she said, ”is the person you were asking about.”

Voss looked back toward the source of the shaking with a grim expression. ”So he’s breaking through to the Multiversal Realm.”

”Yes.”

”But why is he breaking through inside the universe.”

”I don’t know.”

Voss was quiet for a moment. The shaking intensified — a deep, continuous vibration that was making the whole universe’s structure audibly stress. ”That’s going to rupture the universe from the inside.”

”We know, and we have to do something,” Eternal Scholar said.

Then Willith suddenly descended.

She didn’t appear gradually. She was simply there — her presence filling the space above the gathering, vast and immediate, her attention already elsewhere even as she spoke.

She pushed a set of coordinates directly into the minds of every Supreme present. Dozens of locations spread across the entire universe — weak points in the structural fabric, the places where the vibration was hitting hardest.

”Go,” she said. ”Each of you to the coordinates. Use your power to reinforce the structure there. Hold it stable while I handle something else.”

The Supremes moved instantly.

One moment they were standing at the front of the gathering. The next they were gone — each one breaking space and vanishing to their assigned location in the same breath. No discussion. No hesitation.

The gathered beings below stood looking at the suddenly empty front row.

”Where did the Supremes go?” someone asked.

Nobody had a clear answer.

Nyla watched the empty space and then looked at Celestia. ”Looks like our husband caused trouble.”

Celestia sighed. ”Yes.”

”Big trouble,” Cassia added.

”I can see that.”

Inside the training dimension, Runar was not thinking about the shaking.

The four principles had hit their peak at the same moment — Genesis, Elements, Unity, Nothingness — all four complete, all four resonating together in a structure that his quantum chip processed and confirmed as stable. The energy he had been suppressing for weeks released in one controlled wave. Every cell in his body fired simultaneously. Galaxy-level, every single one, no gaps, no variance.

The universal seed formed at his core.

It grew fast at first, then slower as it deepened, the seed putting down roots through every layer of his being. The tree bloomed outward — branches of law and principle spreading, leaves of comprehension filling the structure. A full universe taking shape inside him, vast and self-sustaining, operating by its own rules.

He felt it complete.

First crossing. Universal Realm. Done.

He didn’t stop.

He pushed the second crossing immediately. But it didn’t form the same way the first one had.

His galaxy-level cells began linking to each other.

He had more than eighty trillion of them. Each one a galaxy. They began connecting — not randomly, but in clusters, each cluster forming its own gravitational center, its own laws, its own internal structure. Cluster by cluster, the cells organized themselves into universes. Forty of them, each one built from roughly two trillion galaxy-cells, which matched the estimated galaxy count of a standard universe.

Forty universes from his cells. One from the universal tree.

Forty-one universes inside him. All complete. All stable.

Then he pushed them all together.

The merger started at every boundary simultaneously — forty-one universes pressing against each other, their borders dissolving where they touched. Where they made contact, they stopped being physical structures and became information. Pure condensed information — every particle, every law, every principle converted at the boundary into a form with no mass, no energy signature, no physical presence, but containing everything those universes had been.

The conversion spread outward from every contact point at once.

The universe shook violently.

Across every coordinate Willith had sent them to, the Supremes were pouring their power into the universe’s structural fabric and feeling it fight back against them.

”It’s getting stronger,” one Supreme said through a cultivation link shared between them all.

”I can feel it,” another answered. ”This isn’t a normal breakthrough pressure. This is —”

”How is he this powerful,” Kael-Thon said flatly. He had both hands pressed against empty space, his full Supreme output going into the structural reinforcement, and the fabric beneath his hands was still shaking. ”He’s not even done yet.”

”Willith needs to hurry,” someone else said.

”I wonder how she plans to handle this,” another Supreme said.

”Whatever it is,” Voss said, straining against the pressure at his coordinate, ”it needs to happen now.”

The universe shook again — harder than before, the deepest vibration yet, the kind that made every Supreme present question whether their reinforcement was doing anything at all.

”Willith,” Kael-Thon said through the link. ”Now would be good.”

Willith was already moving.

She found the training dimension — the sealed space that had been locked against her for three weeks — and didn’t bother trying to look inside it. She wasn’t there to look. She found the boundary where the dimension’s fabric connected to the rest of her universe and cut it. Clean and precise, severing every connection simultaneously.

The training dimension was no longer part of her universe.

And she threw out the entire dimension.

Out through the gap she had just created, through the space between her outer boundary and the void, into the empty space between universes — the lightless gap between her domain and William’s domain where nothing had ever existed.

The training dimension tumbled out of her and into the void.

She sealed the gap behind it immediately.

The shaking stopped.

Instantly. Completely. The universe went from violent continuous vibration to total stillness.

In the testing dimension, the gathered millions stood in sudden silence. The wormhole, which had been rippling, went smooth and steady. Several beings were still braced against shaking that was no longer happening.

Across every coordinate in the universe, the Supremes felt the pressure vanish. They lowered their hands slowly and looked at the suddenly stable space around them.

Then they broke space and appeared beside Willith, at the location where the training dimension had been. It was just empty space now, unremarkable, nothing to indicate that anything had ever been there.

Voss looked at the empty space. Then at Willith. ”So your plan was to throw him out.”

”Yes,” Willith said.

”That was it.”

”It was the simplest plan,” she said. ”And the easiest.”

Kael-Thon looked at the empty space where the dimension had been. ”He’s in the void now. Mid-breakthrough. Alone.”

”Yes,” Willith said.

A brief silence.

”Will he be alright?” one of the Supremes asked.

Willith considered this for exactly one second. ”He locked me out of my own dimension for three weeks,” she said. ”He’ll be fine.”

She turned back toward the wormhole and resumed the crossing protocol.

”We continue,” she said.

Celestia and Nyla had felt it through the soul link the moment the dimension moved.

Runar was somewhere else now. The link still held — it would hold across any distance — but the location had shifted completely. Outside the universe. In the void between universes. Still mid-breakthrough, the soul link carrying the distant sensation of forty-one universes dissolving into information at every boundary simultaneously.

She stood looking at the empty space for a moment.

”He got thrown out,” Nyla said.

”Of the universe,” Cassia confirmed. ”Into the void.”

”Mid-breakthrough,” Nyla added.

They both looked at Celestia.

”He’ll be fine,” she said.

”He’s in the void,” Nyla said.

”I know.”

”Between universes.”

”I know.”

”Alone.”

”He is breaking through to the multiversal realm,” Celestia said. ”He can handle the void.”

Nyla considered this. ”Fair,” she said.

Cassia wrote something in her notebook.

Celestia turned back toward the wormhole, open and steady again, thousands of beings moving through it toward William’s universe.

She stepped forward and joined the flow.

”He’ll catch up,” she said.

In the void between universes, the training dimension drifted in complete silence.

Inside it, Runar held the merger steady and kept pushing.

Forty-one universes dissolving into each other at every boundary, the conversion to information particles spreading outward, the structure of everything inside him changing fundamentally as the merger deepened toward completion.

He didn’t know he had been thrown out of Willith’s universe yet.

He was a little busy.
