Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 203: Chapter 203: The Architect’s Eye & The Genesis of a New Path

AN: I made a mistake, The real Runar is not tempering his soul anymore, he already finished it and merged with the clone in the outside world. It was a memory flashback that was happening before the world hopping situation.

The memories of the academy, the desperate clone, and the world-hopping detour settled into the depths of Runar’s mind like a perfectly indexed library. They were no longer a parallel existence; they were simply experiences, fully integrated and assimilated.

The clone was gone, reabsorbed. The grueling decades of soul tempering were finished.

Runar Cross floated in mid-air, suspended in a perfect lotus position within the infinite white void of the Comprehension Space. For the first time since his Universal Genesis breakthrough, there was no friction, no imbalance. His Three Pillars—Body, Qi, and Soul—were in absolute, flawless harmony. His soul had reached the Early Quasar realm, perfectly capable of controlling his Rule-fused body and his Universal Seed dantian. He was complete.

But completion was merely the foundation for what came next.

Runar’s mind drifted back to the most profound realization he had in the Orion universe: the Principle of Genesis. It was not a Rule. It was not a Law. It was the foundational truth of existence, the source code from which all Rules were compiled. In that other universe, it had manifested as a Bloodline Eye Divine ability, a way to see the origin point of all things.

Here, in his home universe, with his soul at the Quasar realm and his body forged from fused Rule-light, Runar realized he didn’t need to just use the Principle. He could embody it.

He would recreate the Eye of Genesis.

Runar drew a deep breath and turned his awareness inward, focusing on the Principle of Genesis resting in the deepest core of his soul. He didn’t force it; he simply invited it to flow. He guided the primordial, source-code energy upward, channeling it directly into his ocular meridians.

The reaction was instantaneous and breathtaking.

His existing Runic Omniscient Eyes, which had allowed him to see the runic structure of reality, began to violently mutate. The golden-silver light of his irises dissolved, breaking apart into millions of shimmering, microscopic fragments. These fragments didn’t scatter; they rearranged themselves.

Fractal patterns bloomed within his eyes. Beautiful, ever-shifting, kaleidoscopic geometries of gold, silver, and void-black spun and folded into one another. It was like looking into a window that displayed the raw, uncompiled source code of the multiverse. The Runic Omniscient Eyes didn’t disappear; they were seamlessly absorbed and upgraded by the new structure. They were no longer just reading the code; they were understanding the programmer’s intent.

The transformation took less than three minutes.

Runar opened his eyes.

The infinite white void of the Comprehension Space suddenly gained infinite depth. The world didn’t just look different; it made sense in a way it never had before. The friction of learning, the mental strain of grasping complex concepts—it all vanished. The universe laid itself bare before him, its secrets no longer hidden behind veils of mystery, but presented as simple, obvious truths. His understanding of the Principle of Genesis spiked, climbing from a mere fraction to a solid, undeniable grasp.

Now, Runar thought, a fierce, exhilarating smile touching his lips. ’Let’s see what this can do.’

He didn’t just focus on one thing. With his Quasar-realm soul strength, he did the impossible. He split his consciousness.

Not into two, or ten, or a hundred. Runar fractured his awareness into exactly 3,333 distinct, perfectly balanced threads of thought. Each thread locked onto one of the 3,333 Rules he had previously only touched at a 1-5% comprehension level during his soul tempering.

And then, he let the Eye of Genesis do the work.

The comprehension began. It wasn’t a grueling climb; it was an inevitable, cascading absorption. The fractal eyes fed the fundamental truths of each Rule directly into his split consciousness, bypassing years of trial and error.

Space Rule: 2%... 5%... 8%...

Time Rule: 3%... 6%... 9%...

Life Rule: 4%... 7%... 11%...

The numbers ticked upward with terrifying speed across all 3,333 Rules simultaneously. And as the percentages climbed, a magnificent, exponential feedback loop ignited within Runar’s being.

First, his body reacted. His physical form, already reconstructed from fused Rule-light, began to densify and refine. The golden-silver radiance that emanated from his skin shifted from a mere glow to an intrinsic, undeniable reality. Every single cell in his body absorbed the rising Rule comprehension, evolving into a micro-universe of perfected, harmonized power. His physical strength, already capable of shattering galaxies, began to scale into the realm of the absurd.

Second, his cultivation realm surged. The Universal Seed in his dantian, which held 3,333 orbital spheres containing the energy of thousands of galaxy clusters, began to spin with renewed, violent purpose. As his understanding of the Rules deepened, the energy within those spheres stopped being mere raw power and began to condense into *conceptual* power. The spheres shrank in size but multiplied in density, transitioning his cultivation base to a level that defied standard measurement.

Third, his soul expanded. The Early Quasar realm was merely a stepping stone. As his mind comprehended the fundamental truths of the universe, his spiritual sea stretched outward. The Quasar core at the center of his soul grew denser, brighter, and heavier. The spiritual event horizon pushed outward, effortlessly breaking through the Early Quasar threshold, surging into the Middle Quasar realm, and relentlessly pushing toward the Late Quasar realm in a matter of minutes.

Body, Qi, and Soul. They were no longer just in balance; they were ascending together, locked in a perfect, self-sustaining cycle of exponential growth.

But then, a stray thought emerged from a newly freed partition of his mind.

’My current cultivation technique... it’s good, but it’s fundamentally limited by its original design. If I merge it with the Gene Cultivation technique from the Orion universe, I could create something that transcends both.’

He tried to allocate a thread of consciousness to draft the merger.

Immediately, a sharp, warning pressure spiked behind his eyes.

Runar’s consciousness computation ability was beyond calculation, a supercomputer of the soul capable of processing multiversal data. But he was currently comprehending 3,333 Rules simultaneously. The sheer volume of foundational truth he was absorbing was maxing out his processing space. There was simply no room left to run a complex, multi-variable technique merger algorithm without risking a catastrophic spiritual overload.

He hovered there, suspended in the lotus position, a rare frown creasing his brow. He had the knowledge, he had the vision, but he lacked the mental RAM to execute it while his mind was busy rewriting the laws of reality.

Then, it hit him.

A memory surfaced from the depths of his system inventory. A pair of items he had received as rewards for his unprecedented achievements, items he had tucked away and completely forgotten about in the rush of his breakthroughs.

(Author’s Note: Check Chapter 68 to confirm! Runar received these as part of his massive reward package for his rapid advancement and system achievements!)

A smirk broke across Runar’s face. He didn’t need to use his own consciousness to do the heavy lifting. The System had tools for this exact scenario.

With a thought, he reached into his system space and withdrew two glowing artifacts.

In his left hand, a shimmering, silver Technique Fusion Token materialized, pulsing with the energy of synthesis. In his right hand, a brilliant, golden Innovation Token appeared, radiating the chaotic, creative spark of pure invention.

”Let’s automate this,” Runar whispered.

He closed his eyes behind his fractal irises and manifested the two techniques he wanted to merge. From his left palm, a holographic projection of his current *Eternal Nexus Ascension* technique unfolded, a complex web of golden-silver runic pathways. From his right palm, the *Gene Cultivation Technique* manifested, a vibrant, pulsing network of biological and energetic blueprints.

Then he activated the Technique Fusion Token.

A blinding, prismatic light erupted from the token, engulfing both holographic techniques. The light didn’t just shine; it ’acted’. It was a physical manifestation of the fusion algorithm, tearing down the boundaries between the two techniques, analyzing their core principles, and weaving them together.

For a few minutes, the void was filled with a spectacular light show of colliding energies. Golden runic lines clashed with blue biological nodes, sparking and merging, restructuring themselves into a cohesive, unified framework.

When the light finally faded, a brand-new technique hovered between his hands. It was a perfect hybrid, encapsulating the absolute best benefits of both the *Eternal Nexus Ascension* and the *Gene Cultivation* methods.

But Runar wasn’t done.

”Time to push it further,” he murmured.

He activated the Innovation Token, pressing it directly into the center of the newly merged technique.

Another, even more brilliant flash of golden light exploded outward. This wasn’t just fusion; this was evolution. The Innovation Token scanned the hybrid technique, identified its latent potential, and injected it with groundbreaking, never-before-seen features. It optimized the energy flow, eliminated the last microscopic inefficiencies, and added entirely new, innovative mechanics that neither original technique possessed.

When the light dissipated, a single, flawless, glowing jade slip floated above his palms.

The Infinite Stellar Genesis Method.

It was a masterpiece. A cultivation technique that didn’t just balance body, qi, and soul, but turned every single cell in his body into an independent, self-sustaining cultivation node, all synchronized through a neural-spiritual web, powered by the very laws of the universe he was currently comprehending.

Runar absorbed the jade slip’s contents into his memory in a fraction of a second. The bottleneck was gone. The path forward was clear.

He let out a long, satisfied breath, his fractal eyes glowing with quiet, absolute power. The 3,333 Rules continued to tick upward in his mind, his body growing stronger with every passing second, but now, he had the perfect vessel to contain it all.

The true ascent had just begun.
