Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 213: Chapter 213: The Bridge Awakens

Runar sat quietly in the pavilion, his quantum brain chip running thousands of background calculations. Celestia was still cultivating peacefully a short distance away, her unity ring glowing softly.

After finalizing the initial framework, he decided it was time to test the concept on a small scale. He sent a brief, polite message through the contact token Supreme Eternal Scholar had given him during their previous meeting.

A few seconds later, space itself rippled in front of him. A perfectly stable portal opened, its edges shimmering with faint golden light.

*You guys sure are efficient,* Runar thought with a small, inner smile.

He stepped through without hesitation.

---

The other side was an empty expanse that stretched across light-years of pure void. There were no stars, no planets, no celestial bodies — just an endless, silent darkness that felt both vast and strangely contained. It was a testing ground created specifically for high-level experiments.

Two figures were already waiting for him.

Supreme Eternal Scholar stood calmly on the left. Beside him was a woman with flowing crimson hair and sharp, fiery eyes — Supreme Crimson Lotus.

Runar bowed slightly. ”Supreme Eternal Scholar. And this must be Supreme Crimson Lotus. It is an honor.”

Crimson Lotus raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised by how easily he identified her. ”You’re quite sharp, boy.”

After brief introductions, Runar got straight to the point.

”I would like to conduct a small-scale test of the wormhole technique before attempting the full version. For this test, there is no need for you to provide stabilizing energy. I can handle that part myself.”

The two Supremes exchanged a quick glance. Eternal Scholar nodded. ”Very well. We will observe.”

Runar took a deep breath and fully unleashed his suppressed power.

A terrifying aura erupted from his body. Dense, high-quality energy surged outward, almost rivaling the pressure of a Supreme. The quality of his power was noticeably superior — purer, heavier, and infused with the faint but unmistakable trace of a Principle. At the same time, he activated a controlled fraction of his Myriad Genesis Eye.

The fractal patterns within his irises glowed faintly, radiating the profound aura of the Principle of Genesis.

Both Supremes froze.

Crimson Lotus’s fiery eyes widened. ”This energy... the density is almost on par with ours, and the quality surpasses it, we only have an advantage in quantity. If we fought, our only path to victory would be to tire him out — and I doubt we could manage even that.”

Eternal Scholar’s expression turned grave. ”And that eye... the Principle radiating from it is real. Even though he isn’t directing it at us, it still feels terrifying.”

They both thought the same thing at the same moment:

*Truly a terrifying figure.*

---

In the Orion universe, inside a specially prepared empty sector of deep space, Orion stood with Wukong observing him from a short distance.

Orion took a deep breath and unleashed his full power. His Multiple Advance-tier Laws and the Rule of Genesis flared to life. His aura surged violently, shaking the surrounding void.

Wukong’s eyes narrowed. ”Not bad, kid. Not bad at all.”

---

Back in the testing dimension, Runar and Orion synchronized through their soul link at the exact same moment.

Both raised their hands.

Reality itself began to twist.

A small wormhole started forming between their outstretched palms. At first it was tiny — a flickering point of distorted space. Then it expanded steadily until it stabilized at a radius of roughly 50 meters. A shimmering, oval-shaped tunnel of silver and gold light now floated in the void, connecting the two universes on a microscopic level.

Runar spoke calmly. ”Beginning the test.”

They started simple.

He created various inanimate objects — stones, metal ingots, complex rune arrays — and gently tossed them into the wormhole. Orion did the same from the other side. The objects passed through without deformation, reappearing on the opposite end in perfect condition.

Runar scanned each one thoroughly with his Myriad Genesis Eye. No molecular changes. No energy corruption. No spatial anomalies.

Next, they moved to living things.

Prepared spirit plants and small animals were sent through. Runar and Orion both scanned the plants and animals on the receiving end with extreme precision — checking cellular structure, soul integrity, and life force.

Everything remained perfectly intact.

After dozens of careful tests, Runar finally nodded.

”It’s safe.”

He turned toward the two Supremes, who had been watching the entire process in stunned silence.

”The small-scale test is complete. The wormhole is stable. We are ready for the big one.”

---

In the Universe Origin, at the mythical heart of all existence, Willith stood alone in her pure-white chamber.

She watched everything through the endless threads of reality that connected to her — the two young men working in perfect sync across universes, the massive wormhole beginning to take shape, and the solar system preparing for migration.

A soft sigh escaped her lips.

”I guess it has started,” she murmured to herself, her galaxy-filled eyes calm but heavy with thought. ”That Runar is truly a schemer. The Universal Will of the other universe won’t just sit back and watch as a direct link is established and an entire solar system is migrated. I guess he’s counting on me to intervene at the right moment if things turn ugly.”

She closed her eyes for a brief second, sensing the vast and unknown power on the other side.

”Sigh... I just hope that other universe is not too strong. Negotiation would be preferable to conflict.”

---

Runar stood tall in the vast empty testing dimension, the stabilized wormhole floating before him like a shimmering oval of silver and gold light.

He raised his right hand and made a gentle upward motion. Using the Space Rule and his Myriad Genesis Eye, he carefully rotated and repositioned the wormhole so that it faced downward — creating a vertical tunnel where the solar system could drop through from above once fully opened.

At the exact same moment in the Orion universe, Orion performed the opposite adjustment. He rotated his end of the wormhole so that it faced upward, allowing Wukong to push the solar system downward into the tunnel.

Both sides were now perfectly aligned for the migration.

---

Runar turned his head slightly toward the two Supremes behind him.

”It’s time.”

The moment he turned, both Crimson Lotus and Eternal Scholar instantly entered full battle mode. Their auras exploded outward like erupting volcanoes. Killing intent and defensive energy surged as they prepared to fight.

Runar froze for a split second, then immediately realized his mistake. His Myriad Genesis Eye was still active at a noticeable level. He quickly suppressed it, the fractal patterns dimming until only a calm, starry void remained in his irises.

He bowed his head slightly in apology. ”My bad. I forgot it was still active.”

The two Supremes slowly relaxed their stances. Crimson Lotus let out a wry smile, while Eternal Scholar shook his head with a helpless expression.

”It’s okay,” Eternal Scholar said. ”Just be careful next time, young one. That eye of yours... even we feel pressured when it’s fully unleashed.”

Runar nodded respectfully. ”I will be more mindful.”

Crimson Lotus stepped forward. ”I’ll handle the expansion. One Supreme is enough for this stage.”

*If I were the one to open the wormhole and also input my energy, even my clone wouldn’t be able to handle it properly,* she thought to herself.

She raised her hand upward, palm facing the wormhole. A vast river of pure Universal energy — deep crimson mixed with burning golden flames — poured out from her palm and surged into the tunnel. The wormhole responded immediately, expanding rapidly in both size and stability. The silver-gold light grew brighter and more solid as the passage between universes widened.

At the exact same moment, Runar and Orion raised their hands upward in perfect synchronization. They focused their power on stabilizing the growing tunnel from both ends, their combined strength and precise control preventing any collapse or spatial distortion.

The wormhole continued to expand under Crimson Lotus’s immense energy input, becoming a majestic, glowing gateway that pulsed with immense power.

Runar watched with focused eyes, his quantum brain chip running millions of calculations per second to ensure everything remained stable. He could feel the connection strengthening between the two universes.

The bridge had truly begun to form.
