Chapter 1343: Chapter 575: I’ll Punish You Within 3 Days

PS: Stomach issues were quite severe, sorry for the delay in updates.

A bath finished, leaving water splashes all over the bathroom.

At night, because Sylvia resolutely refused to let Laine stay with Surya overnight, Laine was forced out of the Lake Fairy Tower and had to stay in the master bedroom on the fourth floor of the castle.

Laine didn’t have any objections to this. In fact, even if Sylvia didn’t say anything, Laine wouldn’t share a room with Surya, as the lady knight is now more than eight months along, her condition very peculiar. Just when Laine returned, he merely held Surya on his lap for a little chat, and within minutes, the lady knight showed a very special expression that only Laine could witness.

This startled everyone at that time, and Surya took more than ten minutes to recover, particularly embarrassed in front of the Lake Fairy, the lady knight fainted from shame directly.

The outcome was Sylvia now warding off Laine like a wolf, loudly commanding him not to touch Surya until she gave birth safely, limiting him to hand-holding only, especially prohibiting contact at night.

The Dark Elf maid’s outfit got entirely soaked while serving Laine during his bath, and she changed into a deep, captivating simple-style silk nightgown with oblique clasps, paired with simple purple high-heeled slippers, her feet wrapped in white velvet stockings adorned with purple nail polish moving gracefully, following closely behind Laine, quietly speaking: ”Master really takes his time, going away for several months, had I known, I would have gone with you.”

”I didn’t want you to come for your own good, Ollica, don’t you dislike being disturbed?” Laine’s face appeared rejuvenated, looked playfully at his personal maid: ”Besides, you really wouldn’t fit in, I remember you aren’t good at wide-area destructive magic.”

The Dark Elf’s gaze flickered slightly, she ultimately spoke softly: ”Master, you don’t understand Dark Magic, compared to the Magic Eight Winds, Hecate Goddess’s Dark Magic surpasses it in both power and variety, not to mention Aurora’s Ice Magic.”

”Ollica, did your Duruzi have Ice Magic while in Naglos?” Laine now found interest, since Teresa and Veronica are still on their way back with the army, Lake God Witch Mogiana just solved matters in Kulona and is preparing to return, only Ollica could answer him magic-related questions.

”Ice Magic is not such a complicated form of magic, Master.” Ollica shook her head: ”Master, do you know the origins of Ice Magic?”

”Queen of Kislev, Miska?” Laine tried saying.

”Ha, foolish humans always think their history is long enough.” Ollica’s face flushed as she hooked Laine’s arm, the Dark Elf’s voice carried deep disdain and contempt: ”Ice Magic dates back over seven thousand years, when the then-undivided Elf Empire was exploring the far and cold Nagloses, in the Far North, the elves discovered relics left by Ancient Saints, within these relics were peculiar ice pillars emitting the purest Ice Energy, this energy wasn’t part of the Magic Eight Winds, yet still a powerful form of magic, do you understand my point, Master?”

”You mean, the origins of Ice Magic were gifts from the Ancient Saints?!” Laine’s eyes widened, with some contemplation: ”No wonder, the Ancient Saints traveled across the world, Kislev must indeed have such relics, no wonder, no wonder only Kislev, Nord, and Oster Territory see the emergence of Ice Witches! No wonder Tsarina Katarina never leaves her Ice Palace! Ollica, why didn’t you tell me such important matters?”

”Because you didn’t ask, Master.” The Dark Elf smiled mischievously as she held Laine’s arm, a glint of cunning in her amber eyes: ”If you don’t ask, I won’t tell!”

”Cunning creature~” Laine gently brushed the tip of his finger along the Dark Elf’s nose: ”In the future, you mustn’t hide anything from your Master!”

”But Master would need to show sincerity~” The Dark Elf felt a bit of glee and pride knowing she was the only one around Laine now: ”No motivation doesn’t work at all!”

However, the good show didn’t last long, the Dark Elf barely opened the master bedroom door, her smile froze immediately.

Dressed in a mauve chiffon short dress with soft light reflected from creases, the Lake Fairy was already seated on the master chair in the room. The Goddess crossed her long legs wrapped in flesh-colored stockings, looking at Laine and his personal maid with a faint smile: ”My Champion, you really took your time with that bath, didn’t you?”

”I have the freedom to arrange my time, my Lady.” Laine thought the Goddess surely intended to stir things up again.

After spending enough time together, Laine indeed understood this High Elf Goddess well, she had a side that was both aloof and strict, and a side indulging in mischief. She was somewhat pessimistic about the future, yet even so, the Goddess tried everything to resist the Moment of Destruction.

In this situation, direction was crucial, if the direction was wrong, the Lake Fairy’s efforts not only would be futile but could give immense power to the Evil God since she strived to change things.
