Chapter 1312: Chapter 562: The Final Siege Battle (Part 3)

”Fire! Fire!” The Wood Elves and Dwarves also joined the battlefield, with the Dwarf Thunder Gunners desperately pouring out ammunition. The Woodland Guards, Desolate Forest Rangers, and Rangers of the Wood Elves were firing relentlessly, without considering the consumption of arrows.

At this moment, the weak point of Musillon’s Undead Guard finally revealed itself to the besieging army.

That weak point was the Vampires, lacking any ranged capabilities, the undead could only take hits passively.

Just then, the Forest Lord Alaros, leading the Talas Warhawk Guard, and Francois, leading the Quenalis Champion Knights Brotherhood, entered the battlefield! The aerial forces on Giant Eagles and Pegasus charged down from the sky, spinning around as they knocked undead off the walls in droves!

”For Olein and Airel! For Aisloron!” Alaros rode on a Warhawk, pulling his bowstring, and an arrow empowered by the Power of Starfire accurately hit the shoulder armor of a Desolate Tomb Guard, making it wail and collapse.

”For the Lady! For Musillon!” Laine personally joined the battle, swinging Mjolnir in his hand. The silhouette of the Lake Fairy Chosen Champion swirled beneath the sky like a flash of lightning, striking the walls and reducing dozens of zombies to a heap of ash. The Griffin Empress roared loudly, spewing lightning as it scattered wildly, deftly avoiding the Magic cast by the Undead Sorcerers. It had just feasted, and now it was time for some post-meal exercise!

”Roar! Roar~~~” Even the Twilight Sisters of the Wood Elves joined the war, a Forest Giant Dragon soared into the sky, spewing deadly Dragon Breath from its mouth.

Belgar personally led the siege vehicle assault on the castle gate, with the Angland Oathsworn squeezing together to form a tight shield wall.

The siege vehicle gradually approached Musillon’s gate, where the siege pillar carved with Grimnir’s likeness fiercely hammered the gate, resonating with deep thuds from Musillon’s gate.

However, the gate remained unbreakable; Musillon Castle had been maintained by the undead for two to three hundred years. Reinforced over generations, the gate was incredibly sturdy, and with the Undead Mage continuously chanting magic to reinforce the gate, even the Dwarf-made siege hammer couldn’t shake it an inch.

Standing atop the walls, the Vampire Baron of the Blood Dragon Family shouted repeatedly: ”Continue! Keep attacking! Mortals! Is that all you have? It’s not enough! Far from enough!”

”Whatever else you have, show it all!”

Musillon’s undead indeed had reasons to be proud, because despite such fierce attacks, the castle showed no signs of falling. As for the aerial forces of the besieging army, they were fleeting, since the Pegasus Knights and Warhawk Guard couldn’t remain airborne for long; carrying fully armed knights or Wood Elf Guards would soon tire them.

However, due to a series of previous wars, Musillon’s Undead Guard had decreased to its lowest numbers in over two hundred years, and many areas couldn’t be adequately guarded. Under the face of intense frontal assaults, some areas were neglected by the undead.

Beneath Musillon, under the walls, within the hidden channels.

The once rapid-flowing hidden channels had now been completely frozen by the power of the female sorcerer, revealing a damp, empty pathway.

A few Dwarf Engineers transported large iron balls filled with gunpowder into the hidden channels. They carefully measured distances and positions, as well as the angles for detonation.

”Done!” After multiple careful confirmations, the Dwarf Engineer finally gave a thumbs-up: ”No problem now!”

”Let’s begin!”
