Chapter 1093: Chapter 474: Skaven Ratmen War Against the Vampire Count

The frontline of the Ratmen was shattered, countless Ratmen were swept into the purple evil sun, turning into dust. The Desolate Tomb Guard and the Skeleton Warriors, facing dimensional stone flames, charged into the formation of the Ratmen, opening gap after gap. The tide of corpses crashed against the rats’ resistance like water, and the Terror Wolf Pack rushed into the Ratman army formation, tearing apart the bodies of the Skaven Ratmen.

However, it was the attack from the Black Knight Legion that broke the Ratmen’s resistance. The iron hooves of the Undead Knights crushed the heads and pierced the bodies of the Ratman army. Facing the group charge of the Black Knight Legion, the Skaven Warlord was somewhat in a panic, and the Storm Rat Legion was mobilized back and forth to resist the Black Knights’ assault. The rats quickly realized they couldn’t face the Vampire Count’s Undead Legion head-on, but it was already too late. The entire basin had become a slaughterhouse, with only one side able to escape.

It seemed that Manfred and his Undead Legion had gained an advantage in this war, the Ratmen were retreating, and the undead tide was advancing.

Beyond the hillside, the Bounty Hunter Brunner lay on the ground, his eyes fixed on the battlefield: ”It seems the Vampire Count’s army has the upper hand.”

”No...” Angerong shook his head: ”Take another look.”

The battle continued, and Manfred and his army indeed seemed to have a significant advantage. The undead tide had once penetrated deep into the Skaven Ratmen army, and even the most fanatical and resolute Plague Monks began to waver.

However, the Ratmen’s reinforcements were endless. Every moment, more Ratman legions and war machines poured out from underground and swamp forests. Under the endless support and attacks from the Ratmen, Manfred and his Undead Legion began to undergo severe trials.

The Skeleton Guard Legion and the Desolate Grave Guard Legion gradually became overwhelmed by the rat tide. After suffering incredible losses, the rats finally managed to throw these undead into chaos, gradually encircling and annihilating them. The Black Knights were surrounded and embroiled in a bitter fight with the Spear-bearing Storm Rat Legion and Long Spear Clan Rat Legion.

Manfred’s Bloodthirsty Bat Wolves and Tomb Evil Ghosts also gradually felt their strength waning. The massive Bloodthirsty Bat Wolves had several hundred wounds inflicted by the Ratmen’s weapons, especially tormented by the wretched ambush attacks from the Gutter Runners. These Giant Beasts suffered countless knife slashes and spear stabs, bites and scratches from the rat tide, as well as salvoes from dimensional stone machine guns and various poison gas attacks.

The Rat Giants continuously joined the battlefield, the Storm Demon Rats raised their arms, transformed into dimensional stone cannons. The ravaging shells dealt a fatal blow to the Bloodthirsty Bat Wolves, causing the Undead Giant Beasts to howl and collapse one by one before the Skaven Ratmen.

The Undead Legion collapsed one after another. After over four hours of bitter combat, the twenty thousand strong Undead Army was utterly defeated by the rat tide and turned into dust.

”yesyes! The Age of Plague! Inevitable! Bone things! Destined, diedie!” The Skaven Warlord was still cheering victory when its dimensional stone phone suddenly rang: ”Hello? For the Great Horned Rat!”

”Idiot!” A furious voice came from the phone: ”nono! The, the Nagash’s Sword was, was snatched by that bald thing!”

”What?!” The Skaven Warlord jerked its head up, recalling that the Vampire Count Manfred had disappeared two hours after the battle started.

West of the Black Mountain Range, high above.

Riding on the Undead Dragon, the Vampire Count Manfred wore a faintly self-satisfied expression. He toyed with Nagash’s Sword in his hand, seeking to unravel his master’s secret.

Taking advantage of the Ratmen’s attention fully focused on the war, Manfred sacrificed his army and, alone, infiltrated Skaven’s Magic City and seized Nagash’s Sword.

”With the artifact in hand, it’s time to find Akhan and proceed with the next plan.”
