Chapter 1057: Chapter 460: The Dejected Lake Fairy (Part 3)

The Goddess casually picked up a lemon and tasted it in small sips.

”Oh! No, my Lady, you mustn’t do that!” The female Knight had been greatly shocked today, but as the most devoted follower of the Lake Fairy since the age of three, she somewhat awkwardly approached the Lake Fairy’s side and quickly said, ”I’m willing to share Laine with you, please don’t say that.”

”Hey, why do I sound like a piece of butter? You people wielding dining knives, slicing me up bit by bit? And you still split sizes?” Laine complained discontentedly, and after speaking, couldn’t help but laugh, ”Even with that, Surya and you have already gotten the biggest share, isn’t that enough?”

The Lake Fairy had the impulse to declare that she should have been his rightful Lady, but knowing that Surya was also present, the Goddess realized there was no benefit in revealing her original plan when Surya had already gained the approval of Laine’s father. Doing so might only prompt the female Knight to notice some clues, and judging by Laine’s father’s attitude, even if it wasn’t Surya, it certainly wouldn’t be her turn.

Most likely, it would be that little maid Amelia.

Thinking of this, the Lake Fairy felt a twinge of fear; the Goddess suddenly realized that she had invested too much in Laine to the point where she could no longer withdraw, emotionally or in her plans, all she could do was continue.

”Don’t worry, my Lady, my father won’t meddle in my private life.” Laine proactively took the Lake Fairy’s small hand, smiling as he spoke, ”We’ll carry on as planned, our lives must proceed, and our plans remain. I will face the challenges with you, with Surya. My father has greater missions, and we still need to confront a series of challenges on our own. I remain your Divine Chosen Champion.”

”Yes, my Lady, I’ll be with you, I promise.” Surya warmly took the Lake Fairy’s other hand, ”My husband is your husband; the three of us will always stay together.”

The Lake Fairy finally calmed down. The three of them reclined on the soft, large bed to rest. This evening, the Lake Fairy didn’t wear stockings; her long dress revealed a pair of delicate, bare jade feet, while Surya as usual wore black stockings. Laine’s large hand was gently exploring the black silk-wrapped beautiful legs of the female Knight.

The Magic Lamp was turned off, and the curtains covered the heavy snow outside. It was a quiet and harmonious Winter Festival night. Despite various upheavals leading to differing thoughts in their hearts, they managed to reach a consensus.

”My Lady, perhaps you can... do that sort of thing with Laine now?” Surya blushed and finally spoke shyly and proactively, ”It doesn’t always have to be me... it’s quite embarrassing.”

”Embarrassed? Who, upon realizing herself possessed, immediately bathes and awaits husbandly favor after changing into her stockings?” The Lake Fairy gazed playfully at Surya, her scrutinizing look nearly shaming Surya into fainting on the spot.

”My Lady, don’t tease Surya... she’s just acting on my behalf...” Laine’s face flushed red, hastily defending Surya.

”Such a minor issue... if Laine likes it, I can wear them too in the future, but that’s not what I meant.” The Lake Fairy’s face turned lovely red, leaning against Laine’s shoulder, caressing his face, ”Mainly, it’s not the right time yet, Laine, do you remember our conversation in the tower?”

”Yes, I remember.” Laine nodded. The Lake Fairy evidently preferred not to allow Surya to grasp too much at once, thus employing a literary technique implying more than explicitly stated.

”Joining with Laine must be at an appropriate time, not now.” The Lake Fairy whispered to Surya and Laine, ”During this time, the three of us can go to my tower for a few days, invite Mogiana, and thoroughly discuss what should be done next.”

”Hmm.”
