Chapter 1090: Chapter 473: Withered Swamp (Part 3)

His opponent also appeared in the mist.

These were three Skaven Ratman Assassins dressed in dark blue tights, each wearing a face cover, legs bound, holding dimensional stone poison blades in their hands and tails: ”diedie!”

”Come on!” Angerong gripped the War Axe tightly with both hands, feeling energized.

”Shadow!” A Ratman Assassin formed a Dharma Seal in his hand, and a puff of smoke arose as he vanished into the air: ”Boom~”

”Tricks!” Angerong remained unfazed, squinting his eyes, waiting for the opponent’s attack.

”Fierce!” Sure enough, three seconds later, a Ratman Assassin appeared behind Angerong, slashing two green trails with dimensional stone blades aimed at Angerong’s throat and the back of his head.

But Angerong’s movements were faster. He shouted angrily, his muscular body more agile than the Ratman Assassins, easily turning around, the vibranium battleaxe Ripper carving a blood-red mark in the air.

A blood rain fell from the sky, the dimensional stone blades and the Ratman Assassin shredded into pieces by the serrated axe.

This shocked the remaining two Ratman Assassins, one of whom decisively commanded: ”Washing Horse Tower! Retreat!”

”Flash!” The two Ratman Assassins immediately formed a second Dharma Seal, and with a flicker of green light, they vanished five meters away, planning to escape.

”Don’t think you can run! Cowards!” Angerong grinned widely, raising the ”Meat Cutter” War Axe with one hand, smashing it hard into the soft ground, the World-Devourer Primarch’s left arm muscles bulging, pulling the embedded Meat Cutter back forcefully: ”Come back!”

Blood-red waves surged from the earth, in the vortex created by Angerong’s immense strength, the two Ratman Assassins lost their balance in the air, desperately finding their bodies caught by the vortex and drawn towards the fearsome human!

”Die!” Angerong reverse-gripped the Ripper, swinging the War Axe sideways, a burst of blood light, and the two remaining Ratman Assassins’ heads and bodies parted.

The battle ended.

”These don’t seem to be very valuable trophies.” Angerong squatted down to inspect the two intact Ratman Assassin heads, his spoils of war he initially wanted as mementos, but considering the Horned Eagle Beast’s weight capacity, he ultimately decided against it: ”Forget it.”

”And you, do you wish to die?” Angerong turned his gaze to the other side of the hill.

”I mean no harm, powerhouse.” A human emerged from behind a tree, wearing the War Goddess Milmedia’s Fierce Sun Helmet and armor made of divine Mithril chest armor and Golden Threaded Scale Armor, raising his Fire Cannon to show he bore no ill-will: ”We’re all human compatriots, uh... I mean, it’s a joy to encounter a fellow human in this ghastly place.”

His aura was faintly perceptible, eyes radiating divine light, blood energy swirling around, space collapsing, clearly a Holy Sanctuary Powerhouse, evidently young, but why he was here was unknown.

”If you weren’t human, you’d be dead by now.” Angerong hesitated, then put down the War Axe: ”This isn’t the place for you, young man; it’s too dangerous here.”

”Perhaps you’re right, but taking money for tasks is the creed of us Bounty Hunters.” The newcomer cautiously approached Angerong, extending his hand: ”Let me introduce myself, I’m Brunner from Tiriel, a Bounty Hunter.”

”Bounty Hunter Brunner? Oh! I’ve heard of you; you’re one of the three strongest among the Tiriel Mercenaries.” Angerong remembered something, frowning: ”Why are you here?”

”I received a commission.” Bounty Hunter Brunner had a row of short swords and daggers hanging from his chest, two Fire Cannons strapped to his waist, a string of bullets on his back, and in his hand, a War Blade adorned with gemstones: ”Deep within this swamp, an Undead Army is battling the Skaven Ratman army, Prince Miraglino paid handsomely for my investigation.”

”Vampire Count against Skaven Ratmen?” Angerong became interested.

”Yes.” The Bounty Hunter clearly wanted to recruit Angerong: ”I know you have the strength to stand firm on this land, so I won’t bother with warnings. May I ask if you’re interested in witnessing this war? We can investigate together. After it’s done, I’ll share a third of the commission. You’ve seen how formidable those Ratman Assassins are; it’s truly dangerous for me to investigate alone.”

”Interesting.” Angerong thought for a moment and smiled: ”Lead the way, let’s take a look.”

”Alright.”
