Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2246: Chapter 2247: No Grievances

To pursue the one he loves, to date and marry her, Su Chengyu said he would come to E City to ease tensions with Ning Zihan, and he really came.

When Su Chengyu arrived in E City, it was already past eight in the evening, so he decided to go to the hotel first, planning to look for Ning Zihan the next day to ease their relationship.

The next day, Su Chengyu called Ning Wenxian before heading to Ning Corporation to find Ning Zihan.

He didn’t seem surprised at all by Su Chengyu’s visit.

Su Chengyu tried hard not to mind that their family treasure had suffered a lot from Ning Zihan and said with a polite smile, ”President Ning, I’ve come to see you, and I suppose you know why. If you have any dissatisfaction with me, just say it. I’ll change whatever I can. I just hope you can agree to let me and Wenxian be together.”

Ning Zihan replied indifferently, ”I have no dissatisfaction with you.”

The smile on Su Chengyu’s face froze. He gritted his teeth and then said with a smile, ”If you have no dissatisfaction with me, then why did you tell Wenxian you don’t like me and disagree with us being together?”

”There’s no reason for not liking someone.”

Su Chengyu gritted his teeth again and continued to force a smile. ”Wenxian and I like each other mutually. Isn’t your opposition inappropriate?”

”Wenxian says her liking of you is overstated, and it’s not mutual.”

”If you agree, she will date me. If she didn’t like me, why would she date me? Use your brain and think about it!”

The last sentence, Su Chengyu gritted his teeth and kept it to himself.

Once again, Ning Zihan said, ”Wenxian says her liking of you is overstated.”

Su Chengyu finally couldn’t hold it in any longer and exclaimed, ”I really like Wenxian. I’ll be good to her. She will be happy with me. As her brother, shouldn’t you be considering Wenxian’s happiness? Why are you ruining her great match?!”

Ning Zihan’s tone remained unchanged, ”I don’t know if you can make Wenxian happy. I only know that Wenxian’s liking of you is overstated, and I don’t want you two to be together.”

”Then why don’t you want us together?” Su Chengyu questioned.

Ning Zihan was silent.

Su Chengyu tried hard to control his anger and softened his tone. ”I came this time truly wanting to ease our relationship. Wenxian cares about you as her brother. If you don’t want us together, she won’t agree without hesitation. She cares so much about you, can’t you consider it for her and make us whole? Regardless of whether we can be together in the end, at least you should let us try dating now. Both of us are willing.”

Ning Zihan remained silent.

Su Chengyu continued, ”If you’re bothered that I tried to hit you before and always had a bad attitude, you can hit me back, and you can be mean to me. I don’t mind, as long as you agree to me and Wenxian being together. She really listens to you.”

Ning Zihan still said nothing.

”As I said earlier, if you have any dissatisfaction with me, just say it. I’ll change whatever I can. I really don’t understand why you’re doing this now. Both Wenxian and I have feelings for each other, and logically, you as her brother should support us, at least to let us try dating. Plus, I’m not playing games with Wenxian; I want to date her with marriage as the goal. As soon as Wenxian agrees, I can marry her immediately.”
