Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2237: Chapter 2238: Ning Zihan, You Big Liar (Part 8)

Su Haoyu was still angry, ”You’ve been away for almost a month now. When have you ever stayed somewhere so long before?”

Su Chengyu grinned cheekily, ”Dad, don’t you usually complain about me? Isn’t it better that I’m not hanging around in front of you? I thought you would rather me stay outside and not come back every day.”

”You punk, I’ll beat you, you punk. No matter what, your mom risked her life to give birth to you, no matter how much I complain about you, I wouldn’t actually wish for you to stay out every day!” Su Haoyu angrily went to hit Su Chengyu.

This time, Su Chengyu didn’t dodge, letting Su Haoyu press him down on the sofa and hit his back for a while.

At the same time, Su Chengyu cheerfully said, ”Dad, I knew it. You complain about me, but in your heart, you still care about this son of yours~”

Su Haoyu angrily hit his back twice more, ”You even admitted you’re my son. Although your brother ranks first in my heart, you are still second!”

”What rank is mom then?” Su Chengyu joked.

”Your mom was originally first, but your mom passed away... Alas, it’s all your fault, you punk. If she hadn’t insisted on giving birth to you, she wouldn’t have encountered complications and died. If something were to happen to you, how would I face your mom then!” Saying this, Su Haoyu started hitting Su Chengyu again.

Su Chengyu let him hit, eyes red, he promised, ”I won’t be away for so long next time.”

From birth till now, the longest he’s been away from his dad was half a month, even though his brother would often go overseas for work for several months before returning, but he remained by his dad’s side, and it’s no wonder his dad was so upset this time, even mentioning his mom’s complications.

To say his dad was angry was more like saying his dad was worried. As long as he stayed in front of his dad daily, his dad could be completely at ease.

To say his dad loved his brother the most was more like saying his dad loved him the most. Compare to his brother, even though his brother is three years older, the one who spent the most time with dad was not his brother, nor his mom, but him.

He’s always understood, however much his dad disliked him, he equally loved him, this son.

”Who’s asking you not to be out for so long? I’m just not used to it! When I get used to it, it’ll be fine!” Su Haoyu stubbornly said.

Su Chengyu shamelessly hugged his dad, ”I decided myself not to be out for so long, okay, Dad~”

”Shameless!” Su Haoyu pushed away the hugging Su Chengyu, but couldn’t help laughing.

An Jing and An Baobei watched all of this feeling amused yet warm.

Su Changyi rarely smiled as well.

Seeing it almost eight in the evening, An Baobei didn’t stay in the living room but got up, smiling, ”I have a livestream to do today, I’m heading upstairs.”

Until An Baobei disappeared at the stairs to the second floor, Su Chengyu couldn’t help but speak seriously, ”Dad, Brother, Sister-in-law, I have something to tell you, I really can’t hold it in.”

In E City, without seeing his dad or brother, he might have held back, but now having met them, being used to telling everything to his dad and brother, he couldn’t hold it in anymore.

If it wasn’t for An Baobei being there just now, he would’ve wanted to speak immediately.

”What is it?” Su Haoyu puzzled.

An Jing and Su Changyi were puzzled too.

An Jing noticed, ”As soon as Baobei went upstairs, you come out with this, what’s it about? Does it have something to do with Baobei?”

Su Chengyu nodded, ”It does have something to do with Baobei, but also it has to do with me.”
