Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2238: Chapter 2239: Ning Zihan, You Big Liar (9)

”Stop beating around the bush, hurry and tell us.” Curiosity got the better of him, and the old man Su Haoyu urged.

Su Chengyu was about to speak but couldn’t help glancing at the empty stairway on the second floor, lowering his voice: ”I’ve been in E City recently, not busy with bar matters, but busy pursuing a woman. I’ve taken a liking to her... Hey! Dad, don’t get physical, let me finish!”

Seeing his father wanting to get physical with him, Su Chengyu finally decided not to let his dad hit him casually but instead hid behind Su Changyi.

”You brat, if you want to pursue a woman, pursue a woman. But you even lied to us, saying you’re busy with bar matters and can’t come back!” Su Haoyu was very angry, feeling deceived by Su Chengyu.

An Jing smilingly calmed him down: ”Dad, calm down first, let’s hear Chengyu finish talking. If you still think Chengyu deserves to be hit, hitting him later won’t be too late.”

Only then did Su Haoyu sit back down on the sofa.

Su Chengyu stepped out from behind Su Changyi and continued speaking softly: ”The woman I’m pursuing is Ning Wenxian, Ning Zihan’s sister.”

Ning Wenxian?!

An Jing and Su Changyi immediately exchanged glances. Is it the same name as Empress of Tianyun Ning Wenxian? Or is it actually that Ning Wenxian? Or could it be the woman who seemed like Empress of Tianyun Ning Wenxian that their dear one saw, isn’t Ning Zihan’s girlfriend but his sister?

Just when they thought about this, without asking, Su Chengyu revealed the answer to their question.

”If it was just this, I wouldn’t have had to wait for our dear one to go up before speaking out. The problem is, Ning Zihan doesn’t have a girlfriend at all. The girlfriend our dear one mentioned is Ning Wenxian. When Ning Zihan was called by our dear one, afraid of being pestered, he simply agreed, leading to our dear one misunderstanding and believing it.”

Su Haoyu immediately got angry: ”What do you mean our dear one pestered him? Since when did our dear one pester her? Even if he had pestered her, wasn’t it his own willingness? If he doesn’t want it, how could our dear one pester him?!”

Su Chengyu was also furious: ”I told him the same! Clearly, our dear one hasn’t contacted him for a long time, and now after just making one call, he claims it’s our dear one pestering him. If he doesn’t want to receive calls, he shouldn’t have answered our dear one’s call, but accepting the call and deceiving our dear one into thinking that was his girlfriend! Truly outrageous!”

An Jing and Su Changyi were very displeased. Their dear one liked Ning Zihan and used to always contact him, but it’s hardly pestering!

Even if forced to call it pestering, as Su Haoyu and Su Chengyu said, if Ning Zihan didn’t want it, didn’t answer calls or pay attention to their dear one, no matter how many times their dear one calls or goes to E City, he couldn’t pester him!

”I was so furious at the time I almost wanted to hit him!” Su Chengyu continued angrily. ”But Wenxian stopped me, didn’t let me hit him. I didn’t want to hurt Wen Xian, so I didn’t hit him. Plus, Wen Xian got a big bump on the back of her head after being knocked down by me, had to go to the hospital. So I accompanied Wen Xian to the hospital first. Dad, brother, sister-in-law, I’m telling you, I’ve had many girlfriends before, met many women, but none made my heart race. But when I saw Wen Xian for the first time, my heart raced excitedly, it must be love at first sight. Now, I just want to marry her.”
