Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2236: Chapter 2237: Ning Zihan, You Big Liar (7)

Su Chengyu’s eyes immediately lit up, and he said happily, ”You stopped me from hitting him just now, are you planning to be with me?”

”I didn’t say that. Also, why would you think that? We just met.”

”What does it matter if we just met? As long as I like you and you like me, can’t we be together?”

”I don’t like you yet.”

”Then I’ll pursue you. But let me tell you, I’m a bit annoying. My dad and brother all say I’m very talkative. If that’s the reason you don’t want to be with me, I’ll be heartbroken.”

”Also? Have you dated a lot of girlfriends before?”

”Yes, quite a few.” He said honestly. ”But I didn’t like them. I just thought at my age I should have a girlfriend, so I dated them. Who knew they couldn’t stand my chatter, alas.”

”Then you seem quite the player.” She paused, ”I don’t like playboys.”

Su Chengyu quickly explained, ”I’ve dated quite a few girlfriends, but I’m really not a player. I didn’t like any of those girlfriends; I’m only attracted to you. You have no idea, when I saw you just now, my heartbeat sped up. It’s the first time this has happened to me. Plus, my first kiss is still with me, I’m still a virgin, and because of this, my dad often mocks me.”

Ning Wenxian was very surprised by Su Chengyu’s candidness, yet she rather liked him for it. She felt that Su Chengyu was very sunny, unlike her brother, who was always gloomy.

”You just told me you don’t have a husband. But you haven’t told me whether you have a boyfriend or not,” Su Chengyu asked.

Ning Wenxian smiled, ”I don’t have a boyfriend either.”

Su Chengyu was immediately elated, ”Then I have even more of a chance!”

Ning Wenxian just laughed, finding Su Chengyu even sunnier, simply looking at him made her feel good.

After a hospital visit, since the bump on the back of Ning Wenxian’s head was quite big, the doctor recommended staying in the hospital for observation for a few days to see if there was a concussion.

The good news was, aside from the bump, Ning Wenxian did not have any other problems.

While Ning Wenxian was hospitalized, Su Chengyu was more than happy to come to the hospital every day to keep her company.

Four days later, the doctor said Ning Wenxian was fine and could be discharged, so she was.

While she was in the hospital, Ning Zihan and Father Ning both came to see her. As for Father Ning, Su Chengyu was extremely enthusiastic and considerate, and Father Ning had a very good first impression of him.

As for Ning Zihan visiting Ning Wenxian in the hospital, Su Chengyu’s face turned as foul as could be.

He still held a grudge. Ning Zihan was too much. Since he didn’t want to be bothered, why answer the phone? Now he deceived his darling and didn’t feel he’d done anything wrong at all? Unbelievable!

Ning Wenxian was discharged and went home, so Su Chengyu didn’t have to come to the hospital every day to keep her company. But he started asking her out to play every day instead.

Thus, half a month was spent this way.

Considering that he hadn’t returned to S City, and his dad and family might be worried, Su Chengyu planned to go home for a few days, then come back to E City to continue pursuing Ning Wenxian.

When Su Chengyu returned home, Su Haoyu angrily questioned, ”Didn’t you say you were going for at most three days? Why did it take you so long to come back?”

Su Chengyu wasn’t sure how to talk about Ning Wenxian, because once Ning Wenxian met An Baobei, An Baobei would realize Ning Zihan had deceived her. So he just made light of it, ”Didn’t I call and tell you that the bar business wasn’t finished, and I’d come back after it was settled?”
