Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2199: Chapter 2200: An Baobei’s Livestream (2)

An Baobei said, ”The main thing is I don’t know what I can do, so I thought of trying a job at our company first to see if I can learn something...”

Su Chengyu, who was watching a live stream on his phone, suddenly brightened up and excitedly said, ”Baobei, I know what you can do!”

”What?” An Baobei immediately asked.

Su Haoyu was also very curious. He actually had no idea what An Baobei could do. An Baobei wasn’t even twenty yet, lacked social experience, and was particularly innocent. He genuinely thought it would be better for An Baobei to be a loafer like him.

Su Chengyu said, ”You should register an account on this live streaming website and do live broadcasts! Aren’t you good at calligraphy? And you write really well. You can broadcast yourself doing calligraphy every day, plus you’re good-looking. I’ll help advertise you in my social circle. You’ll definitely attract a lot of fans!”

Su Haoyu slapped Su Chengyu on the head again, ”Don’t lead Baobei astray!”

Su Chengyu covered his head and complained, ”Who’s leading Baobei astray? Just doing calligraphy in her room at home, not going anywhere else, with a flexible schedule. Isn’t that better than working?”

”Can you make money from it?” An Baobei was more concerned about that.

”If people give you tips, you’ll have money!” After a pause, Su Chengyu continued, ”Don’t worry. Your calligraphy is so beautiful, and you’re good-looking. Surely, many people will tip you! And if you have other talents, that’s even better.”

”Does drawing count?”

”What kind of drawing?”

”The kind using brush and ink.”

”Traditional Chinese painting!” Su Chengyu’s eyes lit up. ”I didn’t expect you to know that too! Baobei, you’re truly a treasure! Do you have any other skills?”

An Baobei thought for a moment and said, ”I can play the piano, play chess, and do sword dancing...”

Before An Baobei could finish, Su Chengyu and Su Haoyu exchanged glances. Wasn’t An Baobei raised in an orphanage? How could she have so many talents? Although puzzled, they regarded An Baobei as family and didn’t question further.

Su Haoyu simply said, ”Since it’s at home and the schedule is flexible, Baobei, give it a try. If it doesn’t work, you can try something else.”

An Baobei immediately nodded happily, ”Okay.”

Su Chengyu excitedly urged, ”Let’s go, let’s go, I’ll take you out to buy live streaming equipment. Oh yes, Dad, have someone set up a room for Baobei’s live streams.”

Two hours later, Su Chengyu and An Baobei returned. Besides buying live streaming equipment, Su Chengyu also got An Baobei a guqin, a fake sword, a writing desk, a Go board, as well as brush, ink, paper, and inkstone.

To make it more traditionally themed, Su Chengyu even ordered several sets of ancient costumes for An Baobei.

Unexpectedly able to wear costumes so openly, even though they were somewhat different from what she was familiar with in her world, An Baobei was very happy.

The housekeeper had already prepared a room for An Baobei specifically for live streaming.

Standing at the door while watching the equipment company set up the live streaming gear inside, Su Chengyu said to An Baobei, ”Baobei, if streaming here feels uncomfortable, just let us know so the housekeeper can arrange another room for you.”

An Baobei smiled and said, ”I think this is quite good.”

Su Chengyu felt a bit uncertain, ”If you’re wearing ancient costumes in such a modern house while dancing with a sword, playing chess, or playing the piano, it might lack that traditional charm.”
