Chapter 2186: Chapter 2187: An Jing is Urged to Have a Baby (Part 1)

Since they’re married, they might as well go on a honeymoon.

Their honeymoon, for An Jing and Su Changyi, had been planned a month ago—to the Aegean Sea.

An Baobei originally planned to go with them, but Su Chengyu and Su Haoyu wouldn’t let her be the third wheel.

When An Jing and Su Changyi returned from their honeymoon, it was the beginning of July, and as soon as An Jing got back, Su Haoyu, Su Chengyu, and An Baobei stared straight at her flat stomach.

”What are you guys doing?” An Jing found their stares both amusing and unsettling. She hid behind Su Changyi, only exposing her head, refusing to let them ogle at her stomach.

Su Haoyu beamed, ”It’s been more than a month; she should be pregnant, right?”

An Jing: ”...”

Su Chengyu laughed and nodded in agreement, ”I think it should have happened too.”

An Baobei giggled, ”Want a little brother! Want a little sister!”

An Jing really didn’t know what to say. It’s not that quick to get pregnant. Besides, her husband always used protection, and she was sure she wasn’t pregnant.

But how could she say that to them?

So, An Jing just looked at Su Changyi, hoping he would handle it.

Because Su Haoyu was so eager for them to have kids, during the honeymoon, Su Changyi had promised An Jing they would have another child, but after some time since they just got married. There’s no rush, so Su Changyi was still using protection every time.

Now...

Su Changyi paused and then casually said, ”If she can get pregnant, she will; if not, there’s no point in stressing about it.”

Honestly, he truly didn’t want to discuss this issue with his dad, brother, or daughter.

Su Haoyu insisted, ”If she can’t, it means there’s a problem, and it’s best to discover and treat it early.”

An Jing finally couldn’t hold back and spoke up, although still a bit embarrassed, ”Dad, it’s just... Changyi and I just got married recently, isn’t it normal not to be pregnant yet?”

She genuinely believed there was nothing wrong with her—her husband simply didn’t want her to get pregnant so soon.

Su Haoyu immediately got excited, ”How can that be normal? Your mom got pregnant with Yi Er on the wedding night!”

Su Chengyu mischievously said, ”Dad, don’t get so worked up. You’re you, Brother is Brother, Mom is Mom, and sister-in-law is sister-in-law. Different couples should have different paces in getting pregnant, right?”

Of course, Su Haoyu knew this too. However, ”But she isn’t pregnant now, weren’t those two hours we spent guarding outside their room wasted, just to prevent anyone from disrupting them?”

An Jing: ”...”

Su Changyi: ”...”

They genuinely didn’t know that his dad and brother had been standing guard outside for two hours.

Su Chengyu wasn’t as childish as Su Haoyu, ”Dad, pregnancy can’t be rushed. I think we should wait it out. Maybe in a while, sister-in-law will get pregnant.”

Su Haoyu knew well enough that rushing pregnancy wouldn’t work. He just couldn’t get over the two hours he wasted standing guard, so he glared at Su Changyi and muttered two words, ”Useless!”

Su Changyi couldn’t be bothered with Su Haoyu. Whether he was useful or not, his wife knew best.

An Jing nearly teared up, thinking: Dad, you’re wrong. Your eldest son is quite capable; he just doesn’t want me to get pregnant so soon.

An Baobei was confused, ”Grandpa, why are you saying Dad’s useless?”
