Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2164: Chapter 2165: An Jing Hugs a Thick Thigh (Part 5)

Suddenly the phone rang, and An Jing quickly put down her coffee and walked to her desk to pick up the landline receiver.

As soon as she picked up, she heard the voice of the young receptionist from the lobby: ”CEO, your wife’s parents and sister are here to see you. They said they had a little argument with your wife and couldn’t find her, so they came to see you.”

An Jing sneered: ”I don’t have any parents or sisters.”

The receptionist was not surprised to hear An Jing’s voice, knowing that An Jing went to and left work with Su Changyi. She quickly said, ”Since Madam doesn’t have parents or sisters, then these people must be impersonating. Madam, sorry to bother you, the security department and I will handle this.”

”Okay, thank you.” An Jing responded, then hung up the internal line.

After the receptionist hung up, she called security and had them escort Lin Jiecheng and the others out.

Lin Jiecheng, Wu Meifeng, and Lin Anrou didn’t expect this, and they all started loudly complaining that Lin Anjing didn’t even recognize her parents and family, causing chaos at the entrance of Su Group.

The Su Group security department immediately dispatched twenty security guards. As soon as they stood in front of Lin Jiecheng, Wu Meifeng, and Lin Anrou, the three went silent, not daring to shout loudly.

Once the three had walked far enough from the entrance of Su Group, Wu Meifeng spoke up: ”Old Lin, I heard the voice on the phone; it was An Jing’s voice. An Jing has really hitched herself to CEO Su. Even if An Jing doesn’t recognize us now, what should we do?”

Lin Jiecheng was worried too, and as a result, he started blaming Lin Anrou: ”It’s all your fault, why did you push her down the stairs back then? If it weren’t for that, she wouldn’t treat us like this!”

Lin Anrou dared not contradict him at that moment, only swallowing her anger silently, but in her heart, she was cursing An Jing vehemently.

Lin Jiecheng thought it over carefully and then said: ”They probably won’t let us inside, but we’ll just wait outside. I refuse to believe they won’t come out eventually.”

After pausing, Lin Jiecheng quickly instructed Wu Meifeng and Lin Anrou: ”When An Jing comes out, no matter how you feel inside, you must apologize profusely. I will apologize too, even kneel if necessary. Only once An Jing forgives us and becomes part of the family again will CEO Su be my son-in-law. Then you can enjoy a wealthy life following along. You also heard, An Jing is marrying CEO Su next month.”

Wu Meifeng was puzzled: ”But we have the household registration book; how could she register for the marriage with President Su?”

Lin Anrou snickered: ”Maybe they haven’t registered at all, just hosting a wedding ceremony.”

Lin Jiecheng was very pleased: ”That would be even better. Even if An Jing doesn’t forgive us, we can use the household registration book to demand millions in betrothal gifts from them before allowing them to register.”

Lin Anrou found it amusing: ”Dad, you’re only asking for millions? A single car of theirs costs tens of millions, you know!”

Thinking that a million was a lot, Lin Jiecheng was a bit shocked, trembling: ”That much, huh. Truly wealthy people. Given that, we’ll go big and ask for fifty million when the time comes.”

Upon hearing Lin Jiecheng mention fifty million, Lin Anrou finally felt a bit happier, ”Yes, that’s the way to go!” If her parents got that much money, as their daughter, she’d also get a share.

Wu Meifeng agreed with this amount too.

While Lin Jiecheng was dreaming of scheming against An Jing, An Jing continued sipping her coffee, leisurely watching Su Changyi play billiards.

As for Lin Jiecheng and the others, she and Su Changyi couldn’t be bothered about them.
