Chapter 2163: Chapter 2164: An Jing Clings to a Powerful Backer (Part 4)

After scolding Anrou, Lin Jiecheng chuckled: ”Meifeng, since President Su is her boyfriend, I’m sure President Su knows where she is. Let’s go ask President Su, and once we find her, we’ll apologize. She can hit us or scold us, whatever she wants, as long as she calms down and makes up with us. In the future, we won’t have to worry about having good days.”

Wu Meifeng, upon hearing about good days, was also happy, her face beaming: ”I’ll follow your lead. When the time comes, I’ll definitely make an effort to apologize to her, ease her anger, and make her our daughter again.”

Anrou, seeing her parents like this, gritted her teeth in anger and finally said with frustration: ”Do you even know where President Su lives? Yet you want to go find him!”

Lin Jiecheng replied: ”I may not know where he lives, but I know where the Su Group is. As the president, he should go to work at the company, right? Today is Sunday, so he’s probably resting and not working. Then tomorrow, tomorrow your mom and I will go to the Su Group to find him.”

Anrou instantly said: ”I’m going too!”

”Aren’t you supposed to work tomorrow? Why are you going?”

”I’ll take a day off.” Saying this, she also acted spoiled: ”Dad, let me go with you guys~”

Lin Jiecheng was indifferent about whether Anrou would go or not, and just said: ”Go if you want.”

”Thanks, Dad!” Anrou immediately thanked him happily, but the smile didn’t reach her eyes.

At this moment, she was plotting in her mind. She was prettier than An Jing, and if she dressed attractive enough, she could surely capture Su Changyi’s attention. As long as Su Changyi liked her, he would ditch An Jing and let her cling to his powerful status.

...

On Monday, Anrou dressed to the nines and accompanied Lin Jiecheng and Wu Meifeng to the Su Group headquarters.

It was already ten in the morning, and they thought Su Changyi should be at work, so they went to the reception desk in the lobby of the Su Group headquarters to ask.

The receptionist saw them and politely stood up, asking what they needed.

Lin Jiecheng said: ”My daughter An Jing is your president’s girlfriend. We can’t find my daughter now and just want to ask your president.”

The receptionist, upon hearing An Jing’s name, smiled even more politely and warmly: ”So you’re the family of the madam.”

”Madam?”

”Yes, madam.” The receptionist nodded. ”Our president and the madam are getting married on the twenty-sixth next month. What, you didn’t know?”

Lin Jiecheng and Wu Meifeng listened, realizing there would be a wedding, and indeed CEO Su was about to become their son-in-law, making them unable to contain their joy. They repeatedly said: ”We knew, knew. We just had a little argument with our daughter earlier, haven’t been in contact for a while, so we’re here to find her.”

Anrou instantly clenched her teeth in jealousy. Even the receptionist was prettier than An Jing, so why did President Su choose An Jing?! They’re getting married next month!

”Are you the madam’s father? You are the madam’s mother? You are the madam’s sister, right?” The receptionist confirmed one by one.

”That’s right, right.” Lin Jiecheng nodded repeatedly, standing up straighter.

”Then please wait a moment, according to company regulations, I have to report this. If the president agrees, I will immediately send you up to meet him.” Saying this, the receptionist picked up the phone and dialed the president’s office.

There wasn’t much work today, and Su Changyi was in the office leisure area playing table tennis, while An Jing stood by, holding a cup of coffee, watching Su Changyi play.

She sincerely thought her husband looked so handsome playing table tennis.
