Chapter 2166: Chapter 2167: An Jing Clings to a Powerful Backer (7)

”I’m going right away!” Lin Anrou quickly went into the room, used the computer, logged into the Weibo account, and sent a private message to Su Changyi.

Sent a few messages——

President Su, I am Lin Anrou, your fiancée Lin Anjing’s sister.

You are planning to get married on the 28th of this month, right? But the household registration book is still with my parents. Without it, you can’t get a marriage certificate, so even if you hold a wedding, it won’t be legally recognized. Only with a marriage certificate is your relationship as a couple legally protected.

If you want to get a marriage certificate, you must give our family a dowry of 50 million, or else we won’t give you the household registration book, and you simply won’t be able to get the marriage certificate.

Lin Anrou originally planned to hitch onto the coattails of the bigshot Su Changyi, but since he wasn’t paying them any attention at all, she gave up and resorted to asking for money instead.

Once the message was sent, Su Changyi received it immediately.

Su Changyi happened to be lounging on the sofa playing on his phone. Seeing the message from Lin Anrou, he first took a screenshot, saved it, and then showed it to An Jing.

At this moment, An Jing was leisurely lying on the sofa, with her head comfortably resting on Su Changyi’s lap, eating strawberries from a fruit platter while watching the huge wall-mounted screen TV.

Seeing Su Changyi hand her the phone to look at, she didn’t take it but glanced down at it instead. Seeing that Lin Anrou was demanding a dowry using the household registration book, and even asking for 50 million, she immediately laughed, ”It’s been days since I’ve seen them waiting at the door; turns out they were planning to pull this on us. They really think we’re foolhardy.”

Su Changyi said, ”Since it’s a problem, it must be solved.”

An Jing nodded, ”It must be solved.” She paused, ”I’ve been thinking about it these days, how Lin Anjing was really pushed down the stairs by Lin Anrou. Although nobody knows, Lin Anrou did commit murder, and Lin Anjing suffered from abuse and long-term domestic violence from Lin Jiecheng and Wu Meifeng since childhood. The more I think about it, the more I feel cutting ties with them back then was letting them off easy.”

”Since you agree to handle it, I’ll have Yi Mi start gathering evidence.”

”We can gather evidence, but don’t disclose it yet. Let’s wait until they create a big scene, then we’ll release it.”

”Okay.” Su Changyi had no objections.

An Jing carefully recalled Lin Anjing’s memories in her mind and then said, ”Lin Anjing was abused since childhood. Whenever she couldn’t take it anymore and didn’t dare to fight back, she would run out, but Lin Jiecheng and Wu Meifeng would still come out to hit her. I remember every time the neighbors saw it, they would post about it in their QQ spaces condemning them, and some neighbors even took videos and photos. That’s why the people in Lin Anjing’s neighborhood are especially sympathetic towards her. Most people in the community added each other on QQ, so when they posted it in their QQ spaces, everyone saw it. But Lin Anjing kept enduring it silently, which made everyone frustrated and angry, frustrated at her lack of resistance and angry at what she endured.”

”I am now Lin Anjing. I’m familiar with those neighbors, so I think it’s better if I personally reach out to them to collect various pieces of evidence against Lin Jiecheng and the others.”

”Oh, and when I went to the Lin family last time, I took a lot of Lin Anjing’s past medical records from her room, which she got while being treated for injuries. Those can also serve as evidence.”

”As for Lin Anrou, when she pushed me down the stairs, several neighbors saw it, and they’re all very righteous; they should all be willing to testify for me.”
