Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 1434: Chapter 1435: What do you feel?

An Jing looked at her own two hands, ”It should take at least ten days to half a month to heal.”

”Then you can enjoy some downtime during this period,” Ye Zhi teased immediately.

Not to be outdone, An Jing teased back, ”I heard you were buried?”

”Don’t mention it!” Just thinking about being buried made Ye Zhi quite annoyed. ”There was an avalanche, and before I could react, I was buried unconscious!”

”Hahaha...” An Jing laughed heartily, not because Ye Zhi was buried, but because Ye Zhi’s tone was just so amusing.

”You’re still laughing! If I had really been buried and died, you’d be the saddest one here!” She was the closest to her here.

But An Jing wouldn’t admit it and teased even more, ”Why would I be the saddest? The saddest would be Gong Juechen. I heard from Jade Jade that the whole military camp is buzzing about how Gong Juechen thought you were dead, holding you, kneeling in the rain and crying, it was heart-wrenching and desperate~”

”Cough cough...” Ye Zhi rarely blushed slightly. ”Don’t listen to their nonsense, it’s not true.”

”Your face is all red, and you say it’s not true?” An Jing wouldn’t let her off. This was a perfect opportunity to tease her friend, so of course, she had to tease her more, especially since this friend was always teasing her.

”...Alright, it happened.” Ye Zhi resignedly slumped her shoulders. ”But can’t you stop teasing me?”

”Nope.” Immediately, An Jing asked excitedly and gossipy, ”Come on, tell me, when One Person has such deep feelings for you, how do you feel?”

”What deep feelings! He’s infatuated with my face!” The next moment, Ye Zhi’s voice lowered, very low, ”Honestly, I was quite moved. If it weren’t for him, I would have been buried alive and dead. It was all thanks to him for going into the mountains to find me.”

After a pause, Ye Zhi added in a small voice, ”His hand was also seriously injured, but he’s a doctor, and later he treated himself in time, so he didn’t end up like you, possibly being disabled.”

An Jing mused, ”I used to think he was attracted to your face. You saw it too, when he first realized you were actually pretty, his attitude changed... tsk tsk, no one’s face changes as fast as his. He’s really a face lover. But now, I don’t think so anymore. If he were just attracted to your face, he wouldn’t have been so sad when he thought you were dead.”

”You said it yourself. It’s because he found out I wasn’t ugly that he changed his attitude. He really is just infatuated with my face!”

Seeing Ye Zhi so convinced, An Jing was silent for a moment before saying, ”Why don’t you do this? Didn’t you say he’s only infatuated with your face? Pretend your face is ruined and test him?”

Ye Zhi immediately gave An Jing a huge eye-roll, ”He’s a doctor, okay! If I pretended my face was ruined, his first thought would be to figure out how to fix it. It’ll be easy for him to find out I’m faking it!”

An Jing rarely offered a sheepish smile, ”True...”

”But Boss,” Ye Zhi spoke again, though her tone was a bit listless, ”sometimes when he’s all over me, I really want to ruin my own face just to stop him from bugging me.”

An Jing immediately became anxious, ”Don’t do anything stupid!”

Ye Zhi pouted and said, ”I only think about it, never really do it. If I really did, my face would’ve been ruined a long time ago. Sometimes he’s really annoying. But clearly, it’s him annoying me, it’s his fault, why should I hurt my own face? Thinking like that, I naturally wouldn’t harm my own face.”
