Pillar of Yita

She asked bluntly, ”How high?”

”A+ quality, I can guarantee a success rate above the norm,” Fang Hong responded. As for exactly how much higher, Fang Hong naturally did not say; firstly, it was not necessary, and secondly, he feared that revealing it might alarm the other party.

In fact, he had calculated that in the production range of levels 11 to 13 (Character Level 8), he could ensure a success rate of over 70%. The lower the Equipment Level, the higher the success rate, and vice versa.

He lacked awareness of the success rates achieved by other craftsmen, but from the information gathered on the community, it was already much higher than normal, which was one of his trump cards, and naturally, he wouldn’t expose it readily.

Yugudola stroked her chin.

Although Fang Hong didn’t specify how much above the norm his rates were, since he dared to claim so confidently, she believed he must have substantial confidence in his assertion.

She pondered for a moment, ”What’s your proposal?”

”My proposal is to supply you with high-quality Magic Guided Conductors around Level 20, settled at the current market price, and to use this to offset the value,” Fang Hong answered, ”We can sign a long-term contract, and as I level up, I can naturally provide you with higher-level Magic Guided Conductors. This would be very cost-effective for Tabopolis.”

”How long is long-term?” Yugudola asked, ”And you must guarantee a certain minimum quantity each quarter, but do you have so many materials?”

”The materials can be provided by you and also settled at market price.”

Yugudola found it a bit interesting and couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, ”We provide the materials for you to level up, and then we have to pay to purchase the products. Mr. Ade, aren’t you being a bit too cunning?”

Fang Hong’s face turned red, ”But we are paying for the materials...”

”I understand, but we’ll also guarantee to buy your finished goods, won’t we?” Yugudola shook her head. She actually understood the benefits of the deal; Level 20 Magic Guided Conductors were not rare, but high-quality ones were scarce.

But of course, she couldn’t agree with him that easily and shook her head, ”But the Level 20 Magic Guided Conductors are still too low-level, and while Mr. Ade will certainly grow, those are details that can’t be ensured in a contract. Do you understand what I mean?”

Fang Hong opened his mouth; his bargaining skills had reached their limit here.

But Yugudola was just beginning, continuing, ”Mr. Ade, are you seeking the ownership of Gita and Luo Yu? But for you, securing a Chosen status for Luo Yu and Gita is actually the most difficult part, isn’t it?”

Fang Hong fell silent for a moment, then nodded; this was indeed where the problem lay. He could only speak the truth, ”Indeed, it is.”

”But the spots for Invokers are incredibly expensive, much more than the ownership rights of Trainees—”

”I understand.”

”So what are Mr. Ade’s plans?”

”Tabopolis should have those secondary Invoker identities without Attribute aptitude, right?” Fang Hong thought for a while before asking.

”Mr. Ade plans to have Gita and Luo Yu become Life Profession Practitioners?” Yugudola was somewhat surprised, ”Putting aside whether Gita and Luo Yu agree, don’t you think it’s a bit of a waste of their potential?”

Fang Hong thought that with Type-One Crystal and Zero-Type Crystal, there was certainly no question of wasting potential, but this was something he could only think inside and dared not publicize, so he remained silent.

Yugudola took his silence as agreement, and with another change of topic, she said, ”But I think there’s no need for you to struggle so much. You have a good relationship with Red Leaf and have done a big favor for Tabopolis; why don’t we think of it in a different way?”

Fang Hong was startled for a moment, then looked up at her.

Yugudola continued, ”I guess your original intention was to sign an alliance contract with our guild, right? And to use it as a bargaining chip to assure us of handing over Gita and Luo Yu to you?”

Fang Hong was secretly surprised; this had indeed been his initial plan—as transactions involving Invokers between guilds were not simply about money, after all, no one wants to see the talents they fostered joining an opposing guild to fight against their own.

That’s why the concept of an alliance existed—

However, alliances are often about equality, and he planned to wait until the Adventure Group had garnered enough strength to make Tabopolis take their proposed pact seriously before bringing up this idea.

But the trip to Fenris Isle had somewhat disrupted his plans, and he hadn’t anticipated dealing with Golande and those from Upper Tabopolis.

What he also didn’t anticipate was this somewhat scatterbrained ’girl’ seeing through his original plan at a glance. For a moment, he wasn’t sure whether she was truly naïve or if it was all an act.

Yugudola didn’t seem to mind and said further, ”In that case, I think there’s actually no disagreement between us, or rather, if we think about it differently, we can perfectly resolve the ownership issue of Luo Yu and Gita to the satisfaction of both sides.”

Fang Hong didn’t quite understand her implication and asked, ”What do you mean, Miss Yugudola?”

”What I mean is, I think you’re making the issue too complicated, Ade. The identities of Luo Yu and Gita aren’t really a problem. They are members of Tabopolis, so what conflict is there with them being members of your Adventure Group?”

”Luo Yu and Gita can be members of both your Adventure Group and Tabopolis, can’t they? If you were our allied team, we could easily assign Luo Yu and Gita to you, solving all problems at once, wouldn’t it?”
