Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 490: Chapter 342 A New Day: The Mysterious Shadow Reappears

Past ten in the evening, Li Wenxi was already asleep in his arms, her face still flushed.

Xu Xin held her and opened the world channel once again.

In the world channel, the wave had passed, and now most people were talking about one thing.

They wanted Xu Xin and the others to share their event experiences.

In the world channel.

”The big shots in Area 188 and Area 1, could you please share your experiences and strategies...”

”Shouldn’t regions help each other out?”

”It doesn’t really matter, it’s a trigger event, not a forced event, just don’t go climbing the mountain.”

”Even if they tell you the experience and strategy, are you brave enough to climb it?”

”True, but aren’t there other big shots who still want to get on the leaderboard and claim rewards...”

”Those who refuse to join the event said the mysterious voice told them the secret of the summit could be shared with others in the same region, maybe I can benefit from it too?”

Xu Xin was still undecided about whether to share the experience of the snow mountain with people from other regions.

The benefits of Xue Feng, for now, indeed seemed to only favor people from his region, who could use this to unite distant individuals in his region for cooperation.

However, this involved another issue.

He recalled when he reached the top of Xue Feng, regarding his first-place reward in the rankings, the mysterious voice said this:

[As the first survivor to reach the summit, you’ll receive a special reward, which will be granted after the snow summit climbing event is completely over.]

The phrase ”snow summit climbing event is completely over” made him feel a bit urgent.

The snow summit climbing event would end completely at some point, but no deadline was given.

He had no idea when this event would suddenly end.

But he could also predict that once the snow summit climbing event ended, survivors climbing Xue Feng would likely be useless, the event might not be triggered, and the array possibly couldn’t be triggered again.

Even these snow summits that suddenly rose overnight might not continue to exist.

In other words, if the array isn’t quickly activated during the event, there might be no chance later.

This thought came to his mind regarding other regions as well.

And this touches on another issue, they might truly be able to utilize the Transmission Array to reach other regions in the future, and help other regions activate the Transmission Array, which might mean helping themselves in the future.

...Forget it, let’s not consider these now, their Transmission Array hasn’t even been activated yet.

Let’s see how it goes once the Transmission Array really connects tomorrow.

Xu Xin sent a private message to Ji Chaoyang, telling him about the long indentation.

The other party wasn’t asleep either, and quickly replied: ”I know, let’s go to the summit together again tomorrow.”

”Okay,” Xu Xin replied.

”Mmm...” Li Wenxi murmured gently in her sleep while in his arms.

Xu Xin kissed her forehead and embraced her into a dreamland.

...

The next day, when he woke up, he was the only one in bed.

He rubbed his eyes, sat up, and checked his watch.

It was just past seven in the morning, not too late.

Looking outside, last night’s snow had stopped, and the snow layer in the jungle became even thicker, almost three meters deep.

Wow, three days, accumulated a whole three meters of snow.

Mind you, the height of the first floor of the low treehouse was only three meters!

With this thickness, those living in low treehouses could possibly use their windows as doors now?

He glanced at the parasitic treehouse outside, hmm, it was a bit lower than he imagined.

The temperature around the treehouse is influenced by it, maintaining above zero, so with sunlight during daytime over the past two days, the snow around the treehouse partially melted. Without clearing, the snow layer height is roughly two meters now.

But from the treehouse canopy base, it was less than a meter below.

If a snow layer attack from beasts capable of stepping on arises, these low treehouses lost their height advantage, resembling flat houses.

...Better have everyone clear the snow around the treehouse.

Just then, he heard a prompt sound in his ears.

[Detected treehouse deco level above 500, receiving today’s random boost: Spiritual Power boost, lasting one day. Additionally, choose a second boost from history.]

The Spiritual Power boost was a new enhancement, sounded nice.

Immediately, a cool sensation rushed to his brain, making him feel extremely alert upon waking, invigorating his senses.

Whoa, isn’t this the feeling of having eaten an orange?

No, this felt even stronger.

Hmm, this boost seems apt for carving and painting.

The boost came at the right moment.

No need for his action today, take some time to create artwork for the explorers, with their increasing numbers, it’s time to raise decoration levels for others, enhance functional areas.

Once his mind cleared, Xu Xin heard sounds outside the room.

Though lacking a hearing boost, sounds from the same floor treehouse were still audible, it was Li Wenxi and Lou Fei’Er laughing, coming from the kitchen, they must be preparing breakfast.
